Red River Ford-Cabot - Car Dealers Near Me - Cabot, Arkansas

After negotiating, several phone calls and walk around videos I made a phone deal on a Friday for a vehicle $119k purchase price. The next day after not hearing from them to schedule a closing day and time I called to confirm. The young salesman was busy, but later a sales manager called me and told that they had made a mistake, and someone had already put a deposit on the vehicle nearly a week earlier. This dealership is not that big... how does a manager not know they've sold a $119k vehicle a week earlier? These guys are not that big, or was there more to the story? I tried to give a deposit, but they said not to worry about it, they would hold it. As I write this review it's two days after they told me they had made a mistake and the car is sold... Looking at the website they are still listing this as for sale. They said they made a mistake, but still have not corrected the website or ads. Poor management, poor business practices. Look back on the recent reviews.. A Michael W had the same issue. How are they still in business? read more

I honestly would not recommend doing business with this dealership. I reached out about their 2023 Demon 170, which was originally listed for around $112,000. They told me the owner was interested in my trade, and I already had a preapproval from my bank, so I was serious and ready to buy. Then they started asking me for all kinds of unusual information because they supposedly needed to confirm I was a "real person." They said they had recently bought a stolen car, which already seemed strange, but I continued with the process. After that, they basically stopped responding. When I followed up, the salesman told me he was at his grandmother's funeral. I understood that, but nobody else from the dealership followed up with me either. Then, overnight, the price of the car went from $112,000 to $155,000. I have screenshots of the entire conversation, the original listing price, and everything that happened. The whole experience felt extremely shady and unprofessional. It honestly felt like they used the lower price to attract interest and then changed everything once they knew I was a serious buyer. Based on my experience, I would not trust this dealership or recommend them to anyone. read more

Scheduled an oil change and rotation for 9:30 am. I dropped off at 9:00 am and received a text at 9:10 letting me know they had my vehicle for oil & rotation. I texted them at 12:00 pm for an update, and again at 12:40 pm with no response. I called at 1:00 pm and was told my service person was on the phone. I left him a message to call me back, no response. I called a second time at 1:30 pm and told them that no one had replied, and after holding for a few minutes, I was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. When I arrived at the service department, it took them 5 minutes to locate my service ticket. When I finally got my keys and found my vehicle, I asked why it took so long for a scheduled oil change (5 hours later) and was told it was customer service's fault for scheduling too many oil changes that day. The bottom line is that they don't care about the service they are providing. No one accepted responsibility for the bad service and blamed someone else. This is management's fault for allowing their team members to give crappy service and act like they are inconvenienced by the customer. read more

Make sure you check their inventory before arriving. They will avoid selling you a used vehicle if they think they can get you into a new vehicle. We had test drove something that we were unsure of and when we asked if there was anything used around the same price, we were told no. However, when we went home and checked the inventory, we found that there was a lot of vehicles in that range. When we asked about swapping, we were so far upside down on the vehicle, (after putting a decent chunk down) that they were able to mess our payment up so bad that we were stuck in the vehicle that we did not like. It was on my wife and I for trusting our sales person, but know what you are looking for before you go in. Just a warning! read more

Red River Ford in Arkansas gave me a price of 73,500 for a 2022 GTPE. I found the vehicle on autotrader and selected for the dealership to contact me. I was contacted by Michael Tarrants through text and was told that the vehicle was available for sale. I then asked for a out the door price along with a window sticker photo. I received a text. (see attachment) I then called Michael to confirm price. Price of 73,500 before tax was confirmed. I live out of state and asked him to get me a shipping quote and call me back with a total price including sales tax for the state I live in. I received a call a short time later telling me that management has decided to add a 10k markup (see attachment of transcribed voicemail) on the agreed upon price. I then called and asked to speak with a manager and was essentially told too bad too sad we are adding 10k onto the agreed upon price. This was beyond frustrating. I have been searching for some time for this car and to finally find one with no markup and then for them to pull a bait and switch like this is flat out wrong. There's nothing that I can do, but I wanted to share this to others as a cautionary tale. read more

Stay far away worst service department. Spent hours sitting there today waiting for warranty work to be done after waiting forever for them to get the part and make an appointment. After hours of sitting the told me they could not get the work done because their tech was called away. Car was ready to go in no time which means they enver touched it and just wasted my time. This may me time for a small claims filing. read more

Short and sweet, lied to from sales during purchase, 5000 miles of ownership engine goes down ,15 days at service department and just more lies,no qualified techs ,worst vehicle purchase ever. Ps,do not buy asc waranty, paid $2484 for waranty that nows says they will only pay out $3000,sales department knew this and hid it from me because that would have stop my decision to purchase the truck read more

Easy access. The oil changes here are cheaper than any where else in town. Which you would not expect being a franchise store. They don't try to sell what you don't need. read more

I scheduled an appointment to have new wheel hubs installed on my SUV after they quoted me a price. After speaking with another shop they suggested I called to confirm that the quote was for both hubs to be installed. Sure enough the estimate I was given was for 1 hub. Who the hell gives an estimate for half a job knowing damn well I need both installed. True example of pure incompetence from their service department. Good thing I called and verified before I got hit with a surprise bill that was double what I was quoted. "Life is hard, it's even harder when you're stupid" read more

Ordered a tire on Friday and was told it would be in on Monday. Called Monday to check when I could come by to have it replaced and got hung up up 3 times. Decided to go by in person to ask only to be told that my tire was never ordered. I should have just gone to discount tire in the first place, they've never done me wrong. read more

Absolutely the worst service I have ever had from any dealership. The service department has absolutely no idea what hat they are doing. I told them exactly how had and scheduled an appointment to get a ford Performance tune installed. Showed up and they act like they have no idea what it is and tell me they got do what I had asked for the originally quoted price and said they will have to charge double. It's a Ford performance tune. Average time to get this done is an hour. They said they would have to charge for two hours in case something goes wrong. That's not my problem. Everything from my vehicle purchase to the service has sucked there. Any Ford dealer is better. read more

I had an appointment for repair on my Ford Crown Victoria only to find out that the owner of this business (Mitch Ward) is taking no precautions during the coronavirus epidemic. None of the employees wear face coverings and there is no social distancing implemented. When I called and talked to him he more or less stated it was his business and would run it the way he wanted. He is a young arrogant individual that has no tact and is very unprofessional. He even had the audacity to question my faith and preach to me about my political affiliation. I would not recommend anyone to use this business unless you want to increase your chances of being exposed to Covid-19! read more

If at all possible I would give this zero stars. I scheduled a appointment to get my dads diesel fixed since it was burning coal though we did not made the modifications to do so. We had a appointment scheduled a week prior and when we arrived their diesel mechanic had only us on his schedule that day so we expected only an hour or two just from nd ourselves waiting three hours. So like any one would I called to ask if their where any issues and they tell me that they haven't even brought it into the shop yet and thought we should come pick it up the day after. Not wanting to have it sitting out over night in Cabot I went to go pick it up to find that they had already moved it to behind the shop and when I confronted them about no even working on it or telling me prior that they may not be able to work on it the man replied with a simple yet irritating shrug if his shoulders. It saying a word to me. read more

Purchased used vehicle in May. Was reassured how dependable the maintenance check was on the Escape. Had 86000 miles and one owner. Brought the SUV home and it immediately was leaking motor oil and transmission fluid. Took it back and they fixed the oil leak. Brought it back home and it was still leaking transmission fluid. Once again took the vehicle back and they fixed it. When I received it back it had a slight vibration when in anything but neutral. Vibration grew worse so it went back a couple months later. Was told the mounts would be neutralized. Got the car back again and nothing was changed. Now 6 months later (95,000 miles in total on SUV) the vibration has grew much worse. After days of many phone calls and three visits I've learned a motor Mount was stripped and replaced during their first oil repair and that is causing the other mounts to not function correctly. I was quoted a price to fix their mistake. First $1400+ then $500. This is after numerous attempts at communication to just figure out what was wrong when they knew the whole time. My vehicle was cheap I can't imagine buying a $20,000+ ride here. Buyer beware! Super disappointed in this place and experience. read more

Haven't used the service department but if they're anything like the sales department I will give them a try. I truly enjoyed my buying experience. They made me a deal I couldn't pass up and were willing to work with me. There attention to detail in the detailing would be hard to beat. You can tell they put money into their vehicles prior to putting them out on the lot. My truck was clean, air filter changed, tires changed, new battery, and detailed well. If I needed another vehicle I would come see Shawn and Trey first. read more
