Nick and Nathan bring on the best Woodfire pizza and more
Jeannette S.

Where should you go on a Friday night when you love cars, wine, barbecue, and Woodfire pizza, and dogs? AUTO VINO for happy hour which lasts until 7 PM! Inga is the ultimate hostess that ensures you enjoy the wine garden. Buff and Phil make sure you check out the gorgeous cars in the garage that are amazing! Nick and Nathan will ensure your Woodfire pizza is perfect! Bring your Pup along if it's well behaved! And meet Honey who loves to check out how happy you are and if you feel like giving her a little piece of barbecue. Auto Vino has ample parking and has some great music as well on a Friday night. Take your auto and head to Auto Vino this Friday night.

Inge (manager) and Tobias! Dog as welcome!

This is a hidden gem on the peninsula. It is a quiet Haven in the midst of the hustle and bustle where you can be outside and feel like you're at a vineyard with really wonderful people and wine with gourmet food or you can go inside and have the experience of high-end cars and huge screen TVs. Amazing for big parties, corporate events, or just coming on the weekend Fridays: 4 PM to 7 PM happy hour Saturdays and Sundays: 12 PM to 4 PM. You can't go wrong with this place and I highly suggest it

Huge thanks to Phil and the team at AutoVino for helping host a fantastic birthday party for me and my friends! This is our go-to local winery for Friday happy hours and weekend lunches, and they really delivered for our special event. The wine, food, and charcuterie board were all excellent--and the salmon, as always, was spot on! Phil was a pleasure to work with and made curating the menu super easy and flexible. The day of the event brought unexpected gale level winds, but the team was well-prepared. They gave us a heads-up the day before & told us that they were prepared to move indoors in the morning depending on the severity. Morning of the event they swiftly moved everything indoors--right alongside their stunning supercar collection. (Probably a blessing in disguise for me ;) - keeping with the theme & namesake - AutoVino Even with the weather working against us, Phil and his team ensured we could keep our original date and still have the most amazing and memorable celebration. Highly recommend AutoVino for both casual visits and special events!

Great place to hangout if you love cars. We like their get together events and checking out the cars. They have an eating area outside with wood fired pizza and great other options including salads and burgers. Also great place if you like wine. We like going on a nice day for some pizza and wine. Very nice people serving the patrons when they take your order and bring it to your table. Dog friendly patio outside so we look forward to bringing our pup there to tag along.

If you're a car enthusiast, you'll love this place. The cars stored here are incredible and they host great events. Friday Happy Hour with live music is always fun!

Came here for several occasions; car show, Mother's Day, corporate event, and enjoyed each each experience. If you're coming to eat during the car show, I recommend placing your order first then checking out the cars. The food took a while to come out and they can run out of food. We got lucky and ordered before the lunch traffic but it still took quite a while. There was no fuss for Mother's Day, food came out in a decent time and mom loved the venue. It's also a great event for private parties, lots of things to look at to keep you entertained. Their cheeseburger is simple, meaty, and delicious and uses a ciabatta bun. They do their pizza crust well, light and crispy. I'd pass on the Margherita pizza though, not as flavorful as I hoped. Love their Autovino pizza. It has a little bit of a kick to it. Their Inge pizza is pretty good but Autovino was definitely my favorite. I wish they would serve food other days of the week. As of now, they only serve food Fri-Sun. For the corporate event, there were charcuterie boards and veggie platters, which I thought were pretty standard. The canapés were great though. I particularly liked the salmon with the lemon wedge. Most people weren't eating it with the lemon wedge, maybe because it was too thin to squeeze and had the rind, but I did and it made it more delicious. The staff is very warm, friendly and remembers your name and Daisy, the dog, likes to stare at you while you eat in hopes you'll feed her/drop some food.

Very fun happy hour! The set up is so unique with a food truck, pizza oven, lots of patio tables, and super cool cars inside. Their greeter is a fluffy dog who let me pet her lots! The service is outstanding. Everyone is so friendly. You can tell they have a lot of regulars. They have live music every Friday night for free! I highly recommend if you haven't been there. It's on the earlier side from 4 - 6:30 pm. If they would add salads to the HH I would give it 5 stars!

(the wings were part of a happy hour menu that was not happening at the time I was there but they made it happen anyway!)

My experience at Auto Vino yesterday was absolutely incredible. It was our first time and Inge was there to greet us and made us feel SO welcomed. She also had a plethora of treats, water and lots of lovin' for my dog Maggie! We did a wine tasting and ordered pizza and the wood fired wings, all of which was insanely delicious! I will definitely be trying the salmon salad as I saw a few people order it and it looked incredible! My mom has been telling me about this place for awhile and I can't believe it took me so long to come here, I will be a repeat customer for SURE! The chef even gave us leftover dough as they were closing for the day and I cannot wait to recreate something at home! I didn't catch the names of the other staff members who were there yesterday but every single person was SO kind and went above and beyond for us. I kept hearing about the famous Daisey and I'm so excited to go back when she's there! I just adore the sense of community at Auto Vino so thank you to everyone for such a lovely Sunday Funday!

Great customer service, upon arrival we did wine tasting at a great price, they waive the fee if you buy a bottle which we did! We ordered a charcuterie board which was delicious, along with a tour of amazing cars. Would recommend. Vibes were amazing with great hospitality all around! secret gem forsure

In town on business and decided to come on a whim, on a Friday night. We were immediately greeted by Daisy (dog) and the great staff. We felt and was treated like family. Took the tour of the event space/garage and got to take a close look at some rare cars. Really amazing space. We loved their wine, atmosphere, and live music was superb.

Daisy, the resident adorable lab, is checking in on her guests.

Love it so much, we came back!! We had the Salmon Salad (amazing!) & The Inge with Jalapeños (the Spicy Inga). We drank the Chardonnay which was delightful. Due to rain, we sat inside and watched March Madness while surrounded by beautiful cars and awesome people.

We visited for their Friday happy hour and to gawk at fancy cars that I can't afford. So, this is a really cool place if you're into cars. But even if you do not care about cars at all, come for the happy hour! The pizza is just unbelievably delicious, and reasonably price! Since there are two of us, it made sense to get a bottle of wine, which was only $24 and honestly one of the best red wines I've ever had! And I can't rave about the pizza enough. Really fun way to spend a Friday evening!

Went here for Cars & Cabernet, and it was amazing. There are so many cool classic and exotic cars. I'd definitely wouldn't mind coming back

Ask the Community - Auto Vino

Is your next Cars and Cabernet event on April 20th, or 27th? I attended this event in February, with my 2025 Z06, and it was fabulous!

The next cars and cab will be a week later since Easter falls on the third Sunday. This month, it will be on the fourth Sunday following Easter.

Do they offer wine-stomping activity?

Is it open memorial day? And can two people come without a corporate event and see it? How much?

Any member of the public may come in. Pizzas (burgers, tri-tip) served on Tuesdays and Fridays. Highly recommend for an afternoon activity. Very personable staff e.g., Inge. $10 tasting fee pp, waived if purchase wine.

My fiance and I came here with a deal from Living Social for a "wine making experience." The deal was a bit on the pricier side ($120), but it also came with six bottles of wine. Throughout the night we were able to taste about seven different wines and were also given several cheese pairings and a brownie, all of which were pretty delicious. Part of the deal was also to bottle our own wine to take home. Fun! The only real downsides were that I was expecting it to be more like a class, which it wasn't at all. We had a quick intro to the facility and short tour, then bottled our own wine, which only took a few minutes. While I wasn't expecting to go out and harvest and ferment our own grapes, since it was called "wine making," I thought there'd be a little more to it. I also couldn't help but think of what a clever advertisement the deal was for the facility, which was smart on their part, but also evident throughout the night as we learned about the actual wine making club and were reminded many times that cases of wine were available for purchase. Either way, any event that involves wine and cheese makes me happy, so I'd say it was a success.

Dom and Gloria and the rest of the crew are just terrific, and have become like family to us. We typically get the Napa Cab grapes and opt for blending just before bottling. That means, we crush straight cabernet sauvignon, and let that mature for almost two years. About a month before bottling we'll sit down with the winemaker and experiment. With small volumes we'll play around with adding 10% sangiovese or 3% petit verdot, or a dose of montepulciano, or whatever seems to fit. Sometimes we go with an addition, sometimes we just let the cab speak for itself. It is a very rewarding way to enjoy wine. And as I wrote in the Domenico review, their facility is terrific for holding events.

Don't judge just because it's an industrial park, this place is a tight, efficient operation and makes great use of it's space. It's got a huge copper still that makes everything from gin to rye whiskey to brandies to absinthe. On Friday nights you can get a tour and tasting for $15. Because of California law, spirits cannot be sold at the distillery, except wine/grape based brandies. The Blade gin is a citrusy gin with a lot of complexity but not much strong juniper flavor that turns most people off. The Rusty Blade is the same Blade gin that is aged in barrels which brings out more cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. It's very much a winter spirit in my opinion. The pear eau de vie brandy really packs a punch with a lot of great pear flavor and though I'm not really a fan of eau de vies this one is a great one. Also, make sure you try the walnut liqueur, based on a Croatian family recipe, for something different. Finally, yes, absinthe, real absinthe, is now legal in the US and you can taste La Sorcière here. It's a great traditional absinthe with a lot of anise flavor. The distiller who gave us the tour and the tasting was really nice and knowledgable. It was a great experience and I encourage everyone to visit once.

That is good hospitality. I suggest you patronize them on the service alone and it's nice that they make some solid products to boot. The crowd was much rowdier than I had expected but then I realized that Devil's Canyon event happened at the same time so I'm sure you're getting some of that crowd too. Though I guess it was interesting and good people watching to see what is normally straight, boring Belmont turn into a raucous party.
