These guys are the best! They are patient (I could not decide which tint to go with), efficient, and fastidious. After a lot of deliberation I went with their recommendation and got the 35% on the rear and sides and 45% on the front windows on a silver coupe BMW. It looks classy and blocks out the right amount of light for me, without risking a pull-over by the po-po. The work was done about a month ago, and they assured me that if there were any bubbles or problems, I could swing by and they would fix it. So far, no bubbles and no problems. I am a very satisfied customer. Bonus: My car is almost 10 years old, and as such, some parts are wearing out. The rubber molding strips around the window and door have been slowly peeling off. I replaced the passenger side for what I thought was an outrageous cost of $1000. The guys here at the shop offered to try to glue the rubber molding on the driver side, which I had double-sided sticky taped. A for effort, but epic failure with my tape! They used an industrial spray glue that completely did the trick, and looks clean and professional. Best of all, they did it for free and with a smile! I highly recommend this place. read more

True story: My car was broken into and i went to Auto Tech because most of the reviews on Yelp were positive. They hooked me up with new tint and i had them tint a couple of more of my windows. 8 months later, the tint on one of the windows started to peel up from the base of the window, and it would make this popping sound when i rolled my window down. long story shot, i called them up and told them about it. they said they'd take care of it. i got there and they immediately recognized me (bonus points for customer service!), and they squeezed me in and replaced my window, no questions ask. i had my receipt ready to show proof, but i guess it wasn't needed. these guys are awesome, really. i would/will return for all of my widow tinting needs and more, and i'll vouch for them. they're fast, dependable, and affordable. read more

Called them for a quote for the back 3 windows plus 2 sunroofs on my 2011 Mini Cooper S and they had the best price around. Scheduled an appointment the next morning and they were done in 3 hours and if there were any problems, they'd fix them for free. Got 5% all around and looks great. Steve told me to just use water to clean the windows and that's it. Called them for a second time to tint the rear passenger side window as it was broken into and was replaced. We dealt with Vincent over the phone in advance to agree on an appointment time and price. When we arrived they started work on the car promptly, and estimated that the job would take 60-90 minutes. They were done in approximately 60 minutes and called us as soon as they were done. Vincent was careful to explain how long it would take to fully set and how to care for it, and also told us to feel free to call with questions. In addition, he specifically reminded us of their lifetime guarantee -- I was already aware of this policy, but it was nice that he reminded us of it and encouraged us to use it if necessary. As other Yelpers have noted, Vincent is a class act. The tint job looks gorgeous. Perfectly applied, nice and dark, but still good visibility from inside the car. I guess there could be different experiences at different time. May be dependent on the moon, the sun, and cars getting of near by freeway. I have had a great experience in 2013 with my passat, but not quiet as good at the end of 2017 with honda accord. Recent experience: Scheduled the appointment, great as usual. Arrived on time end had a good communication about price and tint percentage. Never got a quote , never cared about price, it was good. Job turned out ok, but less then expected. There are few barley noticeable bobbles all around, with dust particles in them. It is not enough to complain, and have them redo it (not worth my time). But leaves you with this mild sour taste. As usual I waited over a month to leave review, just to see how tint would look. Well it's not bad from 5 feet away, but get any closer, and you will see some bobbles( previous job was much better). From drivers seat I see one bobble with darker dust particle in it, again lower in window, so it does not bother me enough. My bottom line: those guys know about the tint a lot. Their work is great. If not for the dust those bobbles would have gone by now. I would bring another car to them, but if it was something like higher end Mercedes, or Audi, I would look for better shop. To the shop: guys your work is great. Please invest in to dust proofing. Maybe vinyl drapes, and humidifier to keep dust low. read more
