I initially had an appointment with the Covina location, but was contacted by their manager and told that only Sun Valley and Corona could do the recalibration due to the required software. Sherry from Safelite Corona called me about 5 min after I hung up with with the Covina location and was able to get me a next day appointment. I was told the job would take 4-5 hours. At drop off, Brandon took my car in promptly at my scheduled time and again told me it would likely be a long job due to the recalibration. I went for a walk, grabbed lunch and on my way back Brandon was parking my car as I reached the front door. They got the entire job done in 2 hrs!!! There were no hidden charges or upsells. Unfortunately, they failed to communicate with me, and after nearly two weeks of waiting without updates, I decided to look elsewhere. I went back on Yelp and found Low Cost Auto Glass. Using the Yelp project tool, I submitted a request and received a quote very quickly. Although their price was slightly higher (but not by much), I chose them because of their prompt response and professionalism--I was ready to get my window fixed without further delays. Joe explained that the glass would take about four days to arrive and that prepayment was required. He clearly outlined the next steps and sent an invoice shortly after. The entire process--from my Yelp request to receiving the invoice--was completed within an hour. The next day, Joe called to let me know the glass had already arrived and that I could bring my car in. Since I was at work, I scheduled an appointment for Friday morning. When I arrived, I expected to wait and brought a book to read--but I barely finished a page before they told me the job was done. The entire installation took about 10 minutes.
