I was so pumped to work with this shop but due to work abroad, I was forced to park my car in the garage for nearly a year. Thanks to my BFF Walti, he took Steph regularly grocery shopping and often out for his own purposes. I ended up selling this car in late spring '10, much to my chagrin of course, and regretted it ever since. Especially b/c I never had the chance to work with Bimmer Sport... Jump to 2017, I found the exact model/year (only different in color) for an amazing deal, and bought it, sight unseen. I dreamt about this car ever since I sold my first one.... Once in my possession, I immediately reached out to Charlie and then embarked on the most amazing car building experience of my life!! Not only is Charlie and execeptional builder, but he's one of the most honest guys I've ever met. He took me through each stage of my build in baby steps, allowing me to organically understand each process. He refused to take my money when I encouraged him to build what I read online, instead, he acknowledged my desires and showed me the way like a true enthusiast. ONE STEP AT A TIME! During that time, I called him nearly everyday like a BF that was dumped and begging to be taken back. He answered the phone EVREYTIME with a smile in his voice. He expressed kindness and patience every time he answered the phone, and most importantly, he LISTENED to my wants. This Summer, Charlie and his team at Bimmersport, built me a dream car. She went for ordinary 325i to extraordinary in a matter of months. They installed full exhaust, 10.lbs Supercharger, ECU tune, lowering springs and slotted/drilled brake upgrade and it was the best money I EVER spent. These guys are superior builders with outstanding customer service and God-like modifying skills. They listen and respond with sniper tact. This last week, they took my car in again and dialed in the tune ever tighter than it was, because they wanted to ensure I was getting the best bang for my buck. Now THAT is class! In the following months, Bimmer Sport is taking on the task of swapping my auto trans to a 5spd w/HP clutch and flywheel, subframe reinforcement, 3.64 LSD rear and new Bilstein shocks along with a complete refresh on my suspension bushings. VETTE EATER!!! They say 'if you go there in the mind, you'll go there in the body'. Well, I have been going there in my mind since 2010 and in 2017, I went there in the body. The last time I felt this much joy, I ran 12.1 sec in the 1/4 mile in my 5.0 Mustang..... I was 19yrs old then, I'm about to turn 42. Keep your eye on the prize, if you want win. What i liked about the experience was the no hassle and no bs approach. I was asked a few questions and then presented with some option. Never felt like an up-sell or trying to get something done to the car that i don't need. Also, they took the time to answer questions and explain what is being done. Seeing the passion and dedication helped increasing the trust in what they were doing. Prices are competitive (at least when it comes to BMWs).
