My appointment was from 8:30-9am and the service technician arrived at 9:48am. He changed the…read morerotors and break pads and rushed the job. I went to work 15min after the service and 3 min in to my drive, I started smelling a burnt scent and started hearing grinding noise. I was advised that it was normal and sent me a video for the correct way to break in my break pads/rotors. I drove my car only short distances for the next few weeks and informed Uchanics that it is still making noises and the burning scent is still present. It turns out my calipers where seized. Due to the service tech rushing, he did not get to check the calipers. I got the rotors, break pads, calipers fixed at a different shop. This terrible experience happened in April. They've stopped responding to my emails and it is now September. I am still currently waiting for my reimbursement from Uchanics.

I went in for an oil change and faced extensive upsell!!!…read more I was told the belt was cracked. I agreed to have it changed. then asked to see it. NO It was not cracked. They "kindly" asked me when my transmission fluid was changed. I advised them that my car remains under warranty and has all its regular maintenance. I did not require a the transmission fluid changed. They "checked" anyway and I had to insist that they NOT top up my transmission fluid. They wanted to change my air filters. I again had to insist they they NOT touch my filters. They still took the one under the hood out. I then asked them NOT to top up my windshield fluid. I had to justify why I did not want any of their "complimentary" top ups. They ripped me off for a belt that wasnt needed and tried to upsell on anything they could! NEVER AGAIN Mr Lube. Never Again!!!!

The friendly owner told me to just come down, no appointment necessary. The owner greeted with a smile. The auto staff who came out from the shop at the back was polite and smiling. They had other cars on the docks, but they fixed my car's taillights in 20 minutes because I called ahead. Cool shop. Friendly people. I only did this one job with them so far, so I would rate them 3.5 stars. I think I will return for other work and see if new experience warrant revision of rating.

Third day they keep car for a day, finally they advise to use supreme gas. Staff is really cooperative but when money and time goes out of the pocket what is the benefit of staff? Let us see after using supreme gas. Used supreme gas same noise in my car. Do not recommend this for car repair.

I had recently been to Yorkdale-Dufferin Mazda to have my summer tires installed, and they told me that my brake pads had only a millimetre left on them and needed to be replaced *immediately*. Since I don't trust them, I told them I'd take it elsewhere. Well, Craig told me I had another 12 - 15,000 km left on both the front and rear brake pads.
