Somehow, her truck was used to move a washer around town. News to me! I must've missed the checkbox that said "Feel free to use my vehicle as a Home Depot rental." Let's be clear: permission to test drive permission to run errands. When a vehicle is used outside the agreed purpose, that's theft by conversion. Call it whatever you want; I call it unauthorized load-bearing activities. If she wanted my truck treated like a shop mule, she would've charged mileage... or at least gotten a cut of the delivery fee. Trust is everything with a mechanic. Mine got taken for a ride ... literally ... while hauling household appliances. If you need your washer moved, maybe this is your place.
