Got my payment where I wanted it was able to work out the car we wanted it was great friendly

I purchased a Mercedes‑Benz from Auto Max on 02/28/2026. Within minutes of leaving the lot, the check engine light came on when I stopped at a gas station just around the corner. I returned immediately, and Tony scanned the vehicle, stated it was the gas cap, and cleared the code. I was told to let them know if the issue returned. After driving home, the check engine light came back on, and I reported it. I brought the vehicle back six days later, but the issue has still not been resolved. So technically I had the car only for 6 days after the purchase. Since dropping off the vehicle, I have been paying for a rental car out of pocket. The dealership offered a second vehicle an Acura, but it also had issues. At this point, my calls and messages have gone unanswered. I requested cancellation of the contract and a full refund, including my $5,000 down payment, but have received no response. Based on my experience, I recommend that buyers thoroughly inspect any vehicle and confirm all issues are resolved before completing a purchase read more

I loved working with Chris and Tony! They made my experience amazing with buying my new amazing 2018 Lexus is300 f sport I love the car! They delivered it 6 hour drive to me in Oregon and made the whole buying process quick and easy! Thank you Auto Max! 10/10 would buy from them again read more

Updated: after leave the first review I was immediately contacted by automax. They apologized and then sent out the second key for my wrx. As I said before that was my only problem. Tony did a good job getting my payment to a place I was comfortable with and that meant the most to me. read more

My Husband and i are so greaful for Tony. We went everywhere trying to get financed a vehicle. The odds were against us. Low down, low income, and low credit score. After hearing no so many times, we almost gave up hope. I saw an ad with the car i wanted, I called the number and the voice said, "sure, come on down". This was the best decision we made that day. Tony went to work for us, and now I am the car I wanted. I truely thank God for him. Forever gratefull Ebbie & Michelle P.S. when you go there tell him Ebbie & Michelle sent you. read more

Tony is a very genuine man! I just called him today to tell him I am interested in purchasing another vehicle! :) I bought my first car ever in my name at Auto Max; a 2011 Mercedes Benz E350. Super quick and easy transaction; he even stayed late to meet me there after work to pick up the vehicle, around 8pm !! The car has been great for me, of course with routine maintenance. Just hit 200k miles. I just keep pouring love into this baby. THANK YOU! read more

Sold a vehicle that blew up a month and a half after driving off the lot. They are still refusing to handle this and reconcile with us and avoid calls and texts. Had a mechanic look at it who put in writing and is willing to testify that if they had done an inspection and oil change on the vehicle they would have seen the shavings in the oil filter. Per the mechanic shop the vehicle should have never been put on the lot. Less than 2k miles put on it and the car needs a new motor that will cost just as much as the car. Poor service, safety issues with cars, lack of inspections. Tony sold us a service contract that will only cover $5K of a $14K job. I have requested several times to cancel and refund this contract and again calls, texts, requests ignored. save your money for somewhere more reliable and trustworthy. read more

Honest establishment with some of the best prices in town. Tony helped me find a car that worked for me and my budget. Looking for a reliable service this is the one. This company helped me all the way threw. Very happy with Tony and his dealership.

BUYER BEWARE.. This is the WORST place you can buy a car. Tony and Christian will say anything to get your money. Tony and Christian knew I used my car for work and needed a reliable car. Tony sold me a LEMON with a Service Contract that cost $3,000. I had my Subaru for 40 days and had to get my car towed to the shop. The heads needed to be replaced. It took 3 weeks to fix, which I had no vehicle to get to work. I put my car in the shop for a second time and it cost over $1,000 in less than 1 year. It needs more repairs. My service contract was cancelled and I was stuck to pay the full amount. Tony swears how good the service contract was. Don't buy a service contract from Tony. Christian won't answer the phone and if he does he ponds me off to Tony the owner who is Useless in getting the DMV paperwork. I had to take more time off and file a complaint in person to the DMV. I had to drive to the car lot to pick up my registration and it had the wrong address. I called Tony and he told me he would get the correct address and never had heard back from him. No wonder why Tony complains that business is so slow. read more

Tony made my car buying experience easy. He explained everything and made the process simple and I was on my way. He also made financing easy with in-house paperwork. Even with my bad credit he was able to get me driving the same day something I could afford and really enjoy driving. My first sports car!. There was an issue with the front speakers but he had them repaired in no time. I know Tony is a very busy man, so he may get a little caught up in his work but he finally managed to fit me in last minute without a problem when I stopped in at the lot unexpected si he got then fixed right away without any complaining. He's always so polite and professional. It's been a pleasure working with him and will be in the future, I'm sure. Tony takes pride in his customers satisfaction. That's very important to me. I look forward to working with him in the future Auto Max has made my car buying experience hands down the best so far! I really don't understand all these bad reviews. He's never lied to me as far as I know anyway. Always delivered on his word with me. read more

Auto Max - Car I bought 2009 Pontiac G5 Coupe I love it!!!! - Auto Loan Providers Near Me - Roseville, California

Tony worked hard to get me the Audi I wanted thank you for going the extra mile to make me smile !!

Tony and Auto Max are amazing. We bought my husband a 2009 Jeep Wrangler that blew an engine 3 days later. At first he was just going to take the car back, but instead he made sure we left we a great reliable car. He made our car experience the best possible. We left we a really good Ford F-150. He took a car that had a bad engine even after buying it "AS IS". Don't listen to these bad reviews they say he's a scammer. He totally isn't. That's the used car industry sometimes you just get bad luck. You have to know that going into it. Please buy from Tony, he is kind and cares. I will be buying again from Auto Max myself when I'm ready for an upgrade! We are extremely pleased. He's a family man, get your cars from him! read more

So I bought my 2011 bmw 328i from TONY. I bought it back in September 2022, And I love it it's an amazing car. Tony went above and beyond helping me get into the car. I would recommend anyone to go there. He is so helpful and best customer service out of any of the dealers on riverside! 10/10 would recommend going to get a car from him. I will be back to buy another car from him. read more

Excellent service, personal attends you well and cars are in great shape, I was a first buyer

Poor customer service and shady dealings. Don't accept their warranty if you do buy from them. If your entitled to a refund, they will stiff you. The only reason for the one star is because I actually bought a great car from them. Against the advice of the dealer. But I'm entitled to a warranty refund and their giving me the runaround. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! I was told they work with hurt credit for REAL opportunities to have good cars and rebuild. LIES. I was talked into a beautiful 2012 Jeep Patriot. Now I'm on my FIRST MONTH of the car and it has died on me twice with my kids!!! I called for support and was asked if I left lights and "what did I do?" NOTHING. It's freaking daylight outside, there were no lights on. They don't care about you. They care about money. I only had $2200 from my tax and was told I had to Give $2k I explained I'd be broke until pay day but was assured "we'll take care of you" I was told they'd put gas in the car for me. Nope. Oil change. Nope. And now my car DIES and they don't care. I know it's hard out there with bad credit people... but you deserve better than this. read more

I purchased a truck with them a month ago, and I have not known suffering as I do now. I had Tony force a car on me, and it has ac that only works on the freeway, something that has killed the battery over 20 times even after I bought a brand new battery, and the electrical is faulty so I have to manually unlock and lock the doors. I have tried contacting them on several occasions and they have not responded yet. Today I am sitting stranded with a big ass lemon in my driveway that I have to pay $13,000 for. Thanks Tony for being a pushy and shady salesman. I can see if I had paid one or two thousand for a car, but I should at least have a running car for $13,000. Whatever you do, stay away from this dealership and specially if Tony walks up. I really hate having to give them even one star. read more

This auto dealership DOES NOT check all aspects of engines and transmission. If you have any problems and call them they will tell you that Tony is with customer then they hang up on you. If the tell you they will call back. Don't expect the call. Three days after purchasing tried going to Tahoe transmission started to slip would not go up hills. read more

Very bad place to buy a car from. Bought mine over 3 months ago and I still have not gotten the registration. Tony acts like a nice guy but once he gets your money his mind is on scamming the next person. If you have any respect for yourself as a consumer please don't buy from here! read more

The worse car dealer ever.. Ive bought many cars and never have i been lied to so many times. I gave them my down payment but i got no car was told it was too late in the day for the bank to finish paperwork. 4 days later I was told their was no pink slip for the car i chose so I was given a piece of shit car to drive until the pink slip came 5wks later never received any calls I went in to get $ back was told car was ready for me to take. went home 2 days later Tony's assistant showed up at my house demanding car back cuz bank wont fiance me 2 days after that repo man came and took car so now Tony has the car and my $5000 and wont give me anything. I thought every person has to have been approved for the loan before they leave dealer. Its all a scam and now I will proceed taking them to court. Also while this was happening my brother was in hospital about to die and he died night they took my car so I didnt get to say good bye. Real nice people huh? Dont let the charm and fast talk make u believe they care cuz they dont its all about the $ Tony even drove to my house which is about 35 miles from his job to pick up my money. What a scam artist. Dont do business with these people they all lie and are in it together. read more

i have been waiting over a year to get my money ey back from this unprofessional, unethical, dishonest, disrespectful, disloyal, sorry excuse for a human being and a really sorry excuse as a business owner. i have never met such a person who can look themselves in the mirror after how they stole my money and left me without a car too. who does that to an elderly disabled women who saved her money to buy a car and then lie and cheat and continue to lie. after i have them my money all of a sudden the next day tony took a trip back to his country and stayed there for 2wks with my money. then had the nerve to take the piece of junk he sold me back and wants to keep my money and my monthly payment wasnt due he took the car because i had covid and i didnt return his phone call so he wantede to call him so he thought he would take the car to get my attention and he wont give me my money back instead he wants only give me half back. my question is why does he think he is owed $2500? he thinks he has won but i am far from done making his life unhappy and for him to feel just one tenth of what i ha e went through for over a year now because of his lies and more lies. his business has a f with the better business bureua for how they conduct business. thats really sad. i have never seen a business like this..dont buy from this business or you will regret it. read more

What a bunch of crooks. These guys have no integrity whatsoever. Car literally started overheating as I drove out of the lot. No idea what kind of tricks they have as far as making the car seem ok while test driving. Tony is a pos liar. If i can give zero star, i would!!! DO NOT GO HERE!! My boyfriend bought a car, and is in the process of refinancing it with his bank. His bank and the dealership had discussed the payoff amount and what not. They were very UNPROFESSIONAL because they were talking a lot of shit to him. Mind you, my boyfriend is from stockton, and stockton has a lot of people whose grown a spine. They had said things like threatening to fight him, called him names, etc. One guy's name is adam, the older guy, I don't fucken know. Not only did we find things wrong with the car after the fact (aka they're liars), but they had withdrew money from his account WITHOUT HIS AUTHORIZATION. They first lied that they said that they didnt do it even though it showed on his online account. Then they said that they refused to return the money. Then they said that someone else was to call him back, and of course, never did so. So now we had to go and file a claim with our bank to settle the matter. But of course, because it's pending, we have to wait for it to clear. All in all, DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!! read more

We got a dodge 07 back in December. We found little things wrong about the car that we were not informed about. However they were willing to fix the issues. Tony is very kind and helpful I do appreciate the kind gesture he did for my family and I just recently. Adam was great as well, just didn't like he forgot to have me sign some paper work. Other than that they are great. Just be sure to check your future vehicle and if something is wrong just point it out. I'm sure they will get it fix for you. Thank you so much Tony. -Jessica & Marquail read more

There is a reason this place has a lot of bad reviews. Texted them to get a price on a car where on the website it says to call or text for pricing, they cant even get me a price! Sales person told me the manager will get in contact with me with pricing because he or she did not know. Next day comes around and still nothing. Texted again and got the same answer. If you cant even give customers a price on a car that they have in their lot, how much worse of a place is that dealer when you go and do business with them. SMH ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ read more
