I bought two trucks at the same time and trailered the one home. The one I trailered I got to drive it 10 miles and then it blew up. I had to replace the motor and found the engine oil was thicker than tomato soup. The second truck had a delete tune put on it. There is an error in the code and I have asked multiple times for what tune was installed. Jeremy and Kyle have yet to help with this after multiple request. Now I have a f450 they is useless since I cannot pull with it because the trailer brakes will not work. This all has to do with the pcm and I had four different mechanics tell me this. read more

Kyle...oh can't say enough about the perfect used car persona that he exudes. First of all, listed the car at $6995. My husband and I both messaged him separately not knowing either of us had. Within minutes of us responding the price miraculously changed from $6995 to $7500. My husband contacted him and he said "oh I made a mistake, but ill honor the price," FIRST RED FLAG. Well we were driving from 1 1/2 hours away.we told him we were on our way.20 mins into our drive he messages call me I need to discuss things on the jeep. We call. He tells us the jeep is perfect...sound...but it has hail damage so you can't get full coverage. Meaning there isn't clean title (clear title stated in ad). See pic. And no financing available. But I can sell you a $20k jeep with financing. We didn't need financing at all. But goes to show you their crap tactics. We get there and the Jeep is beat to crap. Exhaust is hanging off, oil dripping from the engine and front and rear differentials, engine light on, interior is awful, front angry grill is duct taped in. The hard top is cracked and the rear assembly is completely in disrepair. The complete underside of the jeep has been spray painted including the shock boots.. He swore to us the jeep has never been off roaded and had been in Billings for 9 years (what does that even mean and how do you even prove that?) He tells us the hood is only $160 to replace and the doors you can get skins for.. Im a jeep owner and you cant hardly get a light cover replacement for $160. I feel sorry for the poor person who buys this at $7k. I'm sure there might be an idiot that will. This place is a joke if this is any indication of how they run their business. Kyle...learn about vehicles a tad. And quit talking down to women because you think you know more about vehicles than she does. Edit: Kyle attacked me personally on FB. Replying to my comment that the vehicle was is in need of repair and needed major body work. He said then the vehicle fits you perfectly. Nice. Buyer Beware, Go somewhere else. TLDR; Purchased a pickup that was supposed to have been inspected and had a lift professionally installed but it ended up being a dangerous death trap that someone threw together and failed to do proper maintenance on. The owner called me, convinced me to take the review down, and then ghosted me. In early August of 2023, I purchased a 1988 Ford F-250 diesel from Auto Magic. They claimed that their in-house had given it the once over and had a 4-inch lift professionally installed. I do understand that it was a 35-year-old pickup, and it was possible some issues would not be obvious on a typical inspection, but they claimed their mechanic was great and went on about integrity and honesty. The body was in great shape and besides the oil cooler leak, which is typical, the truck seemed to be mechanically sound. They all seemed like nice enough folks, and Jeremy showed me their sales for the month, an impressive 45 or so vehicles for a lot that holds 60 or so cars. The Google page for the dealership, at the time, had a 4.9 out of 5 stars on Google, and I read through a fair few of them, and they didn't seem to be obviously fake. Now, that is down to 4.1 stars, which does raise some interesting questions. I agreed with them that they would lower the price by a few thousand and I would have the repairs disclosed repairs, oil cooler leak, repaired at my mechanic since they were quite busy. Seemed like a good enough deal. I honestly should have known better, but I decided not to go with my gut. Once I took the truck to my mechanic, they identified numerous issues, some extremely dangerous. I will list them in order of severity. First, the U-bolts for the front suspension were too long and ran out of thread before they were tight; all eight nuts on all the U-bolts were barely torqued and were nearly finger-tight (who checks that on a walk-around? I will now!) The lift kit was improperly installed, they had not installed the proper drop Pittman arm and one of the front blocks was in backwards. All the issues with the lift caused the alignment to walk over to the passenger side by about 25 degrees in just 30 miles of driving, which led me to park it until the mechanic could get to it, not to mention the issues with bump steering with the Pittman arm. They also failed to install the included re-enforcement brackets included with the lift kit. Downright dangerous to say the least. Furthermore, the rear end seals were shot and needed to be replaced, rear wheel bearings needed to be replaced, rear brakes were shot and had been tightened down so far that they were dangerous under heaving braking, brake lines on all four tires needed to be replaced. Some of these things I noticed and should have taken as a sign that whoever did the work did a lousy job, but I figured it was simply that they adjusted the drums wrong, and that could be corrected relatively easily. The brake lines were simple enough to replace. I also just had to replace the glow plug solenoids as they were not working at all, but during the warm temperatures, it wasn't immediately apparent, and it only started up once it got into the 40s this fall. The owner did call me back in August and was very upset with me that I had not approached him to rectify the situation prior to writing a review. I was a bit surprised at that given that it's a used car dealership, but he seemed genuinely interested in rectifying the situation and I agreed I should have spoken to him first about this. I agreed to take the first review down. It's been about two months, and I have attempted to contact him at least a dozen times with no answer or call back. I tried to contact him one last time on Monday of this week and I am posting this review on Thursday morning. I would be happy to change it if we could work something out. auto magic is fucking scum, everything they promised me on the as is agreement has never came to fruition. They were going to sandblast the guard and rhino line it. I went to pick up the vehicle and it was painted over the old rust. The salesman promised me that they would detail the vehicle, they never did, when I commented about it the salesman said yeah the detailer really sucks. The manager said that he would cut me a check for $1000 to make up for the issue with the grill guard, that has never happened. I understand that there are chances when you buy a used vehicle, but this used vehicle is nothing! Like they had promised me. read more

Bought a truck from them and the tires on it were not road safe, weather checked and split to the cords. Part of the deal I negotiated was for a better set of tires from their warehouse, not a brand new set. They agreed. Salesman said no problem, but we can't put it in writing, or I'll get into trouble. I agreed. Went to pick up the truck and they reneged on the tires. Scam. I asked about other mechanical issues during the test drive and they said it was "all good" and checked out by them when it came in. I discovered the first of a lot of things wrong the next day when I drove the truck... first discovery, the cruise control does not work. This is the most out and out dishonest dealership I've ever dealt with... steer clear if you know what's good for you. read more

I live 2 hours from the place. Got a truck from them, on the drive home the engine light came on. I connected my code reader so I knew the issue. They let us bring it back so they could "fix it". Again on the drive home, light came back on so I plugged it in.... same exact problem. So we took it back again and they said they needed to fix something with the engine and scheduled another day to bring it back. So we bring it back and they keep it for 3 weeks. We get it back, and they fixed that problem, but added more problems to it! They said they'd fix it, but I wasn't going to let that mechanic touch it again, so I got it fixed by someone else..... so I'm down about $1,500 bucks in repairs and almost $300 in gas. read more

They are absolute con artists! Asked the salesman if vehicle had any issues or if it had been in any wrecks he sat in the backseat not even paying attention to us and just nodded no. Called to confront them about previous codes that were cleared just to make the sale and was told that they had a mechanic that has done this with multiple cars and that he was recently let go but basically told better luck next time. I have tried to contact the owner for about 2 months now trying to give the company the benefit of the doubt but apparently he's never in to take a call or cal back his customers with problems with the crap he has sold.but by the looks of all the bad reviews I'm not the only one who has been screwed by these guys. read more

Scam artists - lying about the condition of cars and resulting in thousands of dollars in repairs the day after purchasing.

Went on a test drive and ended up buying this car. On the test drive I asked a few questions, why was the wheel shaking and if he could check the tires and also if the ac worked properly. He said he'd look at the tires and the ac worked great. I bought this car and took it to a shop to find out what the shaking was because the guy never checked like he said he would, I though it was just a balancing issue. One of the rims were bent. Driving home that night from Billings back to Sidney I discovered one of the low beam headlights was out and also I had no high beams at all. I was told this car had undergone a total inspection they lied because if that were true they would have seen there was no relay for the high beams. They were very unprofessional and being that I saw this car on the marketplace on Facebook, not saying from a dealership, I walked in there with the exact amount of cash for the car not for the doc fee and after arguing for a few minutes about it he finally waived the doc fee. This has been completely ridiculous and I'll never buy a vehicle from them again! read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Kyle is the most terrible customer service salesperson to ever exist. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere when looking for a vehicle. Kyle strung me along for a week and when I came to town to possibly purchase the vehicle, he continued to give me excuse after excuse, that it will be ready in 3 hours, then 1 hour, then real soon, then maybe tomorrow, and asked if I can come back possibly then from almost 150 miles away. If I could go NEGATIVE on the stars, I would, basically they deserve a NEGATIVE 10 to really explain their business. Once we got it home it turned out it needed $7000 in repairs (head gasket and injectors)! Get your vehicle checked out a different shop before purchasing and do not trust them!
