Auto Key SD is a great company that helped me replicate my car key for an old Mercedes. Daniel was the guy that helped me out. He was very nice and friendly. He also helped put together part of my front seat that had nothing to do with fixing my key. Very reasonable price I also got a discount for the second key. I would've been charged double for two keys from Mercedes. read more

When I went to start my car a few weeks ago, I was surprised when the key part broke off of the fob. Luckily I had a spare key, but didn't want to use that as my primary key. I collected a few quotes, Auto Key SD was very competitive and conveniently located. I stopped in and after only about 20 minutes, I had a newly programmed key fob that works perfectly, and was driving away! Highly recommended. read more

I chose Saif due to his competitive pricing and friendly phone demeanor. Sounds silly but call me sensitive. I like good customer service and he has it. My wallet and keys were stolen and I didn't have an extra set of keys to my name, but Saif was incredibly quick and patient with us (I was extremely nervous since it was my first time having to get a locksmith). He arrived, made the key, and was done in less than 20 minutes. We made sure to grab all his info because I will hands down go to him again! read more

Came same day we called like within a couple hours. We're so appreciative of that. He did a great job getting us a second key for our car that the shipper lost. He also did a full diagnostic at no extra charge which was so helpful especially when buying a used car. And all that at a great and super reasonable price. Would recommend to family and friends. Don't hesitate to call for any locksmith issues. Thank you!! Seriously it is so nice to get really good service these days we truly appreciate it. read more

Steve spent hours trying to duplicate keys for our old VW. The dealer wanted about $750 and after three days said VW won't supply keys for cars older than ten years! I checked on Yelp and by our referral and nobody could do it. We are one old key away from a giant paperweight! Fortunately I found another key but still... anyway, call Steve if you need auto keys. Nobody tried harder. read more

Auto Key SD - One key away from stopping a great van - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - San Diego, California

Somehow lost my ONLY key to my 2008 mini-cooper on a Friday night!! Steve was the cheapest & even came out the next day on Saturday! Everyone else quotes 450-500$ & Monday would be the soonest... ugh! Steve arrived on time & this key was a "difficult" key to copy which took him 6 hours. Longer than he expected, I am sure. I know, it's difficult because when I replaced it last time from the dealer & I HAD a copy, it cost me $250!! Highly recommend & such a life saver! Even called me a week after to make sure, it still worked & I had no problems. If you can get on his schedule! Use this company!! And thank you!! read more

Cut and programmed a key for a 2020 jeep grand Cherokee. Service was excellent great price.

Someone broke into one of our employee's personal truck and stole the keys to our company Freightliner. I needed to get it rekeyed before the thief figured out which truck the key went to and returned to steal the whole truck. I called around but most companies told me they couldn't do it because it was a freightliner (I don't know why that made a difference, but...). And if they would do it, they wanted an arm & a leg to do it. Finally, I found Saif at Auto Key SD. Not only was he able to do it, he came out that day to get it done, he was friendly and professional, and he did it for a fraction of what the other guys wanted! Will definitely save this number! read more
