AutoImage installed remote start, aftermarket radio and tinted the windows in my 2010 Prius in the fall of 2020. After sitting for over a month due to surgery recovery in December 2024, my car needed to be jump started. My Apple car play didn't reinstall when the car started. I called Ed Martins at AutoImage and explained what happened, he made an appointment for me and the team looked at my car to see what was wrong. His team ran diagnostics and it turns out the problem was a cheap charger cable! I replaced the cable with an Apple product and viola'. Took my 2020 Jeep Rubicon to have 4 new 35" tires mounted and balanced at 9:00 AM, I showed up at 4:30 pm same day and it was still not done. Finally, after another hour plus of waiting and $ 288.00. Driving home I could not tell there was an issue, since it was pouring rain and only driving 4 miles up the road. I ended up calling 2 days later to complain, the balance is way off and weights are not correct (Tech never even removed the old weights nor even gave me new stem valves for that price mind you. So they scheduled another appointment for me two weeks later and wanted my jeep again for another whole day, and stated I cannot leave vehicle, I need my vehicle to get myself to my cancer treatments and work seeing it's my only means of transportation. So he said Well we can't do anything for another 3 weeks in that case since they were super busy. "Seriously" the correct answer they should have been( since you took my money ) Bring it in right away and will correct our mistakes, while you wait. Now I'm out more money for another company to correct balance, which should have been corrected immediately by your company! DO NOT USE THEM! ! Had an amp installed in a Kia Soul, to enhance and clarify the sound of the factory sound system, which in my opinion is ok, but not for a musician! This place recommended the amplifier and installed it perfectly, with no evidence that anything was installed! No wires, the amp is concealed, and sounds amazing! I brought my new Kia Telluride to Auto Image to tint the front windows. I told Ed I wanted them to match the rear windows but give the clearest view from inside for night driving. I researched that 20-25% was the best match. Ed strongly insisted on 15%. He said he ran a Kia dealer ship for a long time and 15% is the tint you want. He also suggested ceramic for the clearest view especially at night as compared to a died tint. Hours after getting my car home I noticed the front windows to much darker than the rear windows especially from the inside. I called Ed. He told me to wait about two weeks for the tint to dry. As it dries it will become clearer. If after two weeks I'm not satisfied he would "swap out" this darker tint for lighter tint. About two weeks have passed and the tint is still darker than rear windows. Night driving visibility has been greatly reduced as well. I returned to Auto Image and showed Ed the dried tint. He said he would "swap it out" for another $175 and took no responsibility for the tint percentage error. This was my first and last time using this company read more

I gave Auto Image a five-star Google review approximately 4 years ago when they restored my 2012 Toyota RAV4. Because they did such a great job, in such a timely manner, and were so professional, I contacted Nicole at Auto Image following an accident on March 20th in Orchard Park with the aforementioned vehicle. She was very accommodating throughout the whole process. I was especially grateful for the time she spent driving me to and from the nearby car rental agency and taking the appropriate pictures for the insurance company. Horrible tint job. Bubbles and scratches on every window. Very negligent and damaged my brand new interior. Had to make an appointment elsewhere and now have to pay an additional $150 to have their faulty tint job removed. When I returned to show the damage, there was a guy before me who was complaining about his bad tint job as well. Coincidence? Don't think so. I believe in second chances, but these guys completely blew it! Cannot risk further damage to my vehicle with their negligent work. read more

I have been here many times over the years and this will be my last time. I have had 2 or 3 cars tinted here and this time I was absolutely ripped off. I was quoted about a month ago for 150 for the front windows and couldn't make the appointment. I came in today on shorter notice and left with a quote for 190 which is high even for New York City. In the end I paid a whopping 220 for 2 windows and the service was horrendous, the guy who "helped" me gave me a half ass sales pitch trying to upsell me on ceramic tiny without ever looking up from the conversation on his phone. read more

I am so pleased with Ed and his team with the install of my running boards. I go to my truck and never heard the boards go up and down as they where so quit. Then you go into the shop and they cast you aside when the phone rings, making you stand there like an asshole for 30 minutes. Can't win with these guys. After spending around 7k on upgrades to my car I will never go back there again. First off they do a job and charge 125 dollars an hour, the next job they do is install a rear view camera but they can't quote me a price because things can happen in the course of installing it even after I have the wires already hooked from the radio to the fuse box plus I had the camera. So that cost 600+ going by their hourly rate that would be a 5 hour job at 125 an hour must of taken them no more then an hour to do. Next I had bird wire grills put on my front bumper for over 500 bucks and when they finished I asked if they could convert me fog lights to LED so the guy whips out a box with 2 LED bulbs and says they are 250 and that he can install them for 350 but I would have to come back in 3 weeks. After looking at the box I googled the manufacturer and punched in my car info and the bulbs he gave me weren't for my vehicle. I called up tech support of the manufacturer and he sold me the right bulbs for 120 dollars so I tried bringing the bulbs back and getting a refund and they told me special orders are non refundable but remember he handed me the box when I asked him about the lights, no special order and I wanted them installed so made an appointment. The man insisted I take the lights with me and bring them back for installation in 3 weeks, but I wanted to leave a deposit and they would have them in their possession when It was time for installation, they insisted I take them with me and refused me a refund. The guy laughed in my face when I tried talking to him and then raised his voice when I would try to talk so I had to talk over him so I called the Police right in front of them and they threw me out of the store. I started out getting wheels and tires so now am spending near 7k and they would not give me a refund. These people are shysters they talk out of both sides of their mouths, don't give them your business because you will just give them an opportunity to screw you. read more

Brick, I got a subwoofer installation on my brand new subs and amp and the fuses kept blowing the day I got it, so I called them up and got it rewired 2 weeks after getting rewired nothing worked anymore so I called them again and they told me since The amp and subwoofer weren't bought there I have to pay them to look at it, meanwhile I just paid them $250 to put them in so they pretty much gave me wires and blown subwoofer for $250 read more

This place is horrible. Every time I go in there with a different car to have a part put on they never want to do the work. No matter what the car is new or old. Then I just end up doing the work myself. Brought in a new 2016 challenger scat pack they didn't want to install lowering springs so did myself. Then went in to ask about another car to lower they didn't want to do it. I'll end up doing it myself again. Total joke. These are installs that they do everyday too. Honestly I think they just stereo type certain people. Horrible customer service and extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. read more

They did excellent work on my 2017 Toyota Highlander. Tinted the windshield and solved a reflection problem by wrapping the front dashboard vents in flat black. Made it look like it came from the factory that way. Would definitely recommend them. read more

I had a 3M vehicle tint warranty claim done by Auto Image in Brick, NJ. Get your TINT done ELSEWHERE! Picture of their poorly done tint work is posted and You will see the bubble marks. They are caused because particles are trapped underneath the film when work was performed by Auto Image. Photo was posted to their Facebook but Auto Image removed. Guess they don't want to face the music of their shoddy work! My experience was AWFUL...Mark is a liar and the "manager" Mike is very unprofessional and not customer friendly when it comes to getting the work done correctly. Prior to the work of my passenger and driver side windows, Mark assured me that both of my windows would have the 3m logos for verification of the 3m tint product. He shared that this was their facilities practice to keep the 3M logos on all windows. Unfortunately, after I examined the work in their parking lot I found that the car tint did have the 3m logo on the driver side but NOT on the passenger side window. When I called Mark to come outside to address this confusion he stated there was one 3m stamp somewhere on the passenger window and advised me to check it again when I open the window once it has dried in a couple of days. I did so and there was no 3m logos ever to be found. I addressed this with Mark and thats when I was told a completely different story by him. He then advised that it was the way the tint was cut as the reason for not having the logo that he originally ensured was seen on the window by himself. Oh wait it gets much worse.... In addition to not having the 3m logo, I also found over 20 bubble marks on the passenger side window that never went away after the drying phase. I advised Mark of this as well and he told me to bring the car back in to look at it. When I brought the car back to auto image, Mark said he would replace it, but first told me to give it a couple of more days to dry to see if they go away (this would be a lie). However the bubbles did not go away. I went back to Auto Image the following week as advised by Mark who had his installer try to remove the bubbles. However, this did nothing and Mark said it "looked a lot better". Another lie by Mark because the same bubbles were still in the window! I addressed my unhappiness with the work and Mark said they won't change the tint for just a few bubbles. Another flat out lie as there are more than a couple particles causing the bubbles(20 or more) and I have the pictures to show how poor the quality of work which was done. Mark's excuse for the cause of the bubbles was that they (auto image) are not a "particle free facility." Highly unacceptable! bad overall customer service! The crystalline tint work on my window was very poorly done by auto image. By the way it took them 5 hours to do just tint two of my windows! Mark had me bring my vehicle in two times to just say oh we won't fix it. Total waste of my time and no compassion or common courtesy given to the customer! Like any unhappy customer I had to address my experience with the manager. I quickly discovered that the manager, MIKE has very poor customer relations where he addressed me, the customer as "BRO" and he did not care to resolve the poorly done tint work completed as he thought the work was also acceptable. I posted a picture of Auto Image's work on my car window in this review so everyone else can hopefully see and avoid the pitfalls I experienced. Overall, Auto Image in Brick is a bad business to deal with from the quality of tint work performed, being lied to, and from poor customer service. I would recommend going someplace else for those reasons outlined above and because they do not stand behind the quality of work when it comes to fixing their errors on the job performed! read more

Sounded annoyed that they now had to perform the work! Needed car all day for 11/2 hour job. Was told at pick up that speaker wasn't working but Mike T. unable to tell me which one or why? Definitely not a choice for anyone looking for customer satisfaction and professionalism. Went there and asked about the best window tint choices for UV/heat protection and was told "This is the best we sell", ok, so I got it for my car. Went home and looked up on their website what I bought and saw it wasn't the "best" and they actually sell a higher end tint at their store. Called back next day to try to pay the difference and get the upgrade I actually wanted in the first place, was told come in, talk to the manager and he'll "definitely help you out". Perfect. Well I Went in today, same guy that sold me "the best tint" in the first place, tells me he won't charge me to remove the tint I just bought but I have to repay the entire amount plus the upgrade. Really?!! If they had actually gone over all their choices in the first place I would've bought the more expensive product! Thanks for nothing. Will be sure to tell all my friends who knew where I was going to get the windows done never to go here. Places like this make shopping locally hard to do. Very disappointed. read more
