Next, we set up a time for them to come out to my house to repair the windshield for Friday. On Friday morning, another rock hit the windshield of one of our other cars! Now, it looked like I was going to have to repair two windshields. Godspeed called on Friday morning to give me an eta. They arrived right on time. They looked at my Lexus and let me know they could repair it. When Godspeed looked at the other car, he informed me that the crack was superficial and would not need to be repaired. They could have easily soaked me for an additional repair and didn't. After he repaired my Lexus he informed me that the repair didn't get into all of the cracks. He said there was a 10% chance the crack would spread. Godspeed has a 100% guarantee that the windshield will not crack after their repair. Thus, he WASN'T GOING TO CHARGE ME. I paid him for the work because he came all the way out to the house, did a repair, didn't screw me on the other windshield, and was as nice as could be. We fled the people's republic of CA. That type of customer service would NEVER happen in CA! I give Godspeed Auto Glass five stars!!! I fully recommend them for windshield repair.

They are friendly and cheaper than other places but that's where the praise ends. Randy quoted me one price on the phone then increased it by $100 as we were confirming. That's fine. I get pricing might be hard for a new business. Whatever. When they got here, the guy he brought with him kept saying this didn't look like the YouTube video he watched for a model that was 7 years newer than mine. Then, he told me how he lost his ASE certification. They came, replaced the starter with some trouble, and left. I got maybe a mile down the road when the car died on me. I had it towed to a mechanic I trust. It cost me an additional $500+ for my mechanic to figure out the issue and fix it (ground wires that needed to be replaced after they were digging around trying to replace the starter from the top.) They left coolant and other bits all over my driveway. It's unfortunate because I really wanted this to be a great experience but it was terrible. I don't like writing poor reviews but I sincerely don't want anyone else to end up with an additional bill like I had.
