Had a break-in on left rear window. I read all the auto glass company reviews for the general area, and after getting three quotes I chose Auto Glass Maxx. Called and made appointment for same afternoon 1PM. They ordered and had the window on hand when I arrived, changed the window in 45 minutes, and vacuumed out all the broken glass. Nice job. Charles, the owner (?), was very informative and courteous. Nice clean waiting area, Subway next door. BTW, Safelite gave the highest quote, twice as high as the others. read more

Went in to these guys to service my window and was given a price for a new regulator. As I sat and watched the workers work on my car I noticed they used a used regulator from the wall and still charged me for a new part. I had my windshield replaced a couple of weeks ago. I noticed some streaks on the windshield when I left but thought it was just glue or sticky residue because I saw plenty of that along the edges. I cleaned my car and most of the glue went away except for a couple streaks. I realized they were scratches. Took it back to them and they blamed it on my windshield wipers and said they'd give me a $40 discount for another one. They said it was too late for them to replace it for no charge as I had to have told them right when I saw it. I checked my windshield wipers and there's no way it could've done that. after getting a quote via Yelp and saying my glass was in stock, I called the next day to schedule an appointment; when I got there he said he made a mistake and it wasn't in stock but they would get there fast - which they did. I'm pretty anal about my car and they did great work - I can't even tell the windshield was replaced, all the trim pieces were expertly fitted back into place. Just got a rock chip on a 3 month old windshield. Jumped on Yelp to see if there was a glass shop in the area and found Auto Max Glass who seemed to have good reviews. Called Charles and he said to come on in and he would see if it could be repaired or would need a replacement. Upon inspection the chip, which was the size of a silver dollar was just too bad, the glass was crumbling even as you rubbed your finger across it. Charles had a windshield in stock and his crew was able to go to work right away. Said it would take about 40 minutes, but they did it in less. Very satisfied, would recommend. read more

Amazing service and a great price! Used Yelp to get a quote for a new windshield and got a reply in less than 5min! Price was one of the lowest I received and decided to give them my business based on all the good reviews. When I got to his place I asked them to be careful of the matte black paint on my car. When it was done he came and got me to inspect the paint and to show me they didn't even use the blue tape over the matte black just to be safe. Great guy! read more

Went on a Saturday afternoon...wanted front two windows re-tinted and have the passenger side front window looked at because the automatic window wasn't working. We were told by the manager that we needed a part replaced to fix the automatic window. We agreed to have it fixed then 15 min later he told us it wasn't what they thought it was and it needed the whole panel replaced. We agreed on repair then told they didn't have the part in stock but that he could order it and it would be in Monday. Since the window wouldn't go down or up they couldn't re-tint the passenger side till the window was fixed, but he would go ahead and re-tint the driver side for us. We asked the window tint match the back passenger windows and he said no problem. After waiting for 35 more minutes he said our re-tint was complete and he would either call us Monday or we could just come by and get the rest repaired. We walked to our suv and noticed the only window that was re-tinted was lighter than the back, my husband went back in and told him and he said he apologized they would re-tint it Monday when we came back. After waiting over an hour we got one window re-tinted wrong. Come Monday we didn't receive a call so around noon we went back to the shop and were told that the guy who tints wasn't in and would be back till Saturday. He never mentioned the part to fix the automatic window. He had to be reminded and he said ok come back Saturday and we can fix it all up for you. Since we already paid for the re-tinting of the driver side we wanted them to fix what they messed up we agreed to return Saturday. I was so mad by this point, we took the suv elsewhere and they fixed our automatic window but what was needed to fix it was completely different then the two parts we were originally told need to be fixed. We went back Saturday and again the manager told us the tint man wasn't there. So, we asked for our money back and left. We took it to Tomball where they re-tinted both front windows the shade we wanted for cheaper. How do you have an Auto glass shop and advertise tinting and more than half the time not a single person there tints? We aren't the type to write reviews but this was such bad customer service we had to share our experience. Never again. read more
