Boy did it take ma a long time to realize that. I took my FOURTH car in today for an estimate (someone hit me - not my fault) and they told me they were writing it off as a total loss..! They said if the repair cost exceeded 70-some percent of the total value it was a total loss. I asked them what value they were using to be sure the % was 70+% and they said that they didn't know what that value was. When I asked them "Then how can you tell me my car's repair is over 70% of a value that you don't know..?" They said it's up to the insurance company to decide the total value. Slowly but surely...it finally dawned on me that if Abra can't get the $60,000 F250 or late model Tesla, they just don't want that business. If they can't pocket 5 figures on the repairs you're wasting their time. They let you know that you're waisting their time too. When I said that I love my car and I want it repaired and that I was frustrated that every time I bring a car in with any level of damage they total it, Mike quipped, "Sounds like you already made up your mind..." Yes, Mike. I finally came to my senses and realized if I actually want a car repaired, your place is NOT the place to bring it. Because you do not want my business. I have a car that I love. It has damage on the door and rear quarter panel (they probably have to be replaced - maybe 400 for the door and 250 for the rear 1/4 panel) and they are willing to write it off as a total loss? This is the 4th time this has happened to me. And every time we come out on the losing end - even when we are not at fault. Of course I will buy the car back...but that's another kick in the pants. It's worth very little when they decide if they are going to repair it...but it has SO much value when you want to buy it back. So, bottom line, I get a SALVAGE title, maybe 1500 in cash back, and a car I have to repair myself. Just the salvage title cuts the resale value in half - no matter how well you took care of your vehicle.... Take your car somewhere you trust to get it evaluated. If you want to keep it. If you want to have just about anything considered totaled, then this is your scammer-center right here man. I would NOT be surprised if they had ownership in salvage businesses. Abra...never again.

(02/16/23) (I had just bought this car on 02/13/23. One owner 30k mile car.) I had talked with Cole over the phone a couple times and was told $250.00 to tint my car. When I got there we looked at the different tints available and I picked out the ceramic tint at a slightly higher cost. I was told 400 for a ceramic tint on all windows but front windshield. Well almost 2 hours into tinting my car Cole came out and said it was going to be a extra 100 because the car had been tinted before. He went on about how dealers often remove tint before selling cars. (I have since contacted the dealer and have been told this car was never tinted and they never removed any.) So with my car help hostage and now he wont let me change back to the 250 tint I am stuck paying 500.00. Well when I got the car back I was now late for a appointment because it took another hour to get done. Shortly after I left I noticed some parts to my car in the back seat and upon looking closely at the tint there seemed to be many flaws. I then called Cole and asked about the parts not put back on and the flaws. He asked me to come right back so he could take care of the issues. When I got back he looked at the car and told me that it was to industry stranded and he would quickly put it back together and removed what he said was glue from one window. That night I took a very close look at my car. the way he gave it back was just unacceptable. It took me over 3 hours to clean all the streaks and foot prints out of my car. There are flaws with EVERY window. When trying to talk with Cole about this I had called them cuts in the tint. I guess there are called creases. (Don't get the wrong or he will threaten to sue you for slander) He did offer to redo only 2 windows saying once again that it's to industry standard. I have asked for a refund from him multiple times now and he just refuses. It is going to cost over 500 now to have this all removed and redone and another establishment. I will also be talking to the MN Attorney General about the good faith estimate and the 100 charge while my car was held hostage. I have filled a BBB complaint and will be fillings them everywhere I can and post this review every where I can. I will also update it.

Again no call so I had to call. They told me they found more damage and needed Insurance approval. My damage was over 10,000 but not totaled because it needed to be around 11,000. Also, because I didn't use ford Parts it would have been totaled but they they didn't go over my options. This was very fishy considering if it was totalled Abra would not get any money. Got another text on Wednesday saying my truck would complete on the next Monday. Then on Monday got a text saying it won't be done til Friday. Again no explanation so I had to call. They said it should be done on Tuesday. Finally got a call on the end of the day but they didn't have my front Ford emblem in. They said I could pick it up when it comes in (they still haven't told me it came in or not). As i drove my car away around 15 minutes after as I was going to a work Xmas party my engine light came on. I have a reader and 7 errors came up about the camshaft. I had to bring it back to the shop after my party and have my wife pick me up. I left a vm that I dropped the truck off and what the problem was. Waited the next day for a call and didn't get one until 3 o'clock. I was told Abra can't fix it and they didn't have any issues. I really had no issues but if I would have know I had a 6,000 fix on my truck I would have just taken the 10 grand and not fixed the trick. This does make any sense because right when I drove off I could tell my engine had poor acceleration so if someone drove it they would no it. When I called Nick back (who was not helpful at all explaining what happened) he said I have to take it someplace else and it didn't happen from my accident. This is unacceptable and very fishy. I am already in contact with my lawyer and feel im being used. I will not be recommending anyone use this this location and will writing reviews on all sites and give a zero with this explanation.

They go me in right away and despite a delay on my appointment was still way sooner than the competition and far more convenient. He was super friendly and got it done way sooner than we expected. My appointment was 10am-2pm (not a normal appointment time but they squeezed me in due to my windshield being delayed but weather happens) and he finished at 10:50, quick and easy! He was cracking jokes and gave me his card in case anything happens too. Super nice guy and I will be coming back but hopefully not for a while!
