My experience here was not as bad as some other reviews. I of course was harassed with messages and calls as you have to give them that information to even look at cars. Once in, Minique took care of me and found a great car in my price range and fit my criteria. Even worked with me when I had to come back the next day to finish some paper work. I give it four stars simply for other customer service. A larger man who seemed to be a manager seemed very uninterested in helping me when I returned to have the car detailed and clean. Assuming my sales woman was on lunch, he instructed me to sit. Only for me to have to approach the front desk again, 35 minutes later to ask if someone could at least tell me something. This man continued to look at me but not help. Front desk had someone else help me but that was after he finished the task he was already doing. Minique returned to see me sitting and quickly wanted to hurry and get my car in. The same manager like dude told her "he's been waiting for you" and begin to rush her. I was upset for her simply because he could've assisted me a long time ago. The gentleman who took my car to the back and tell me the car has been pulled around, but tells me it'll be 45 minutes to an hour until it is done. As I stated Minique was nothing short of amazing! My car buying experience has definitely been ruined due to their service. I started out by filling out the credit application online. Shortly afterwards I got a call from a Sharondai saying I should come in and talk to a sales person because they found some lenders that'll work for me and there was a special for NO DOWN PAYMENT. I told her I just got off work and really didnt want to sit in a dealership for hours just to walk out without a car. She DAMN NEAR GUARANTEED me walking out a car by saying "Over 80% of people who walks in comes out with a car".... Guess im the 20% that doesnt... After getting BEGGED to come in the people there didnt even know a Sharondai!! They said she works "in a call center" and isn't physically at the dealership.... AFTER Sharondai said she will help me through this process and meet me at the dealership! I had an appointment to come in to sell my car that had been appraised by their staff two days prior. One hour after my appointment time, I am still waiting for them to prepare the paperwork that I need to sign to sell the car. My sales rep has been giving me periodic updates, and that has been helpful, but whoever is preparing the necessary paperwork has no appreciation for the value of other peoples' time. I sold a different car to a different dealer less than a year ago (so also during COVID) and it literally took 10 minutes -- and they picked that car up from me. And there are entirely too many staff walking around with masks that are not covering their noses. It gets better. One hour and 20 minutes after my appointment time and five minutes after I was told they'd be ready for me to sign the paper work, they tell me that they won't have a check ready for me today. IN WHAT WORLD WOULD THEY SELL A CAR AND ACCEPT PAYMENT DAYS LATER? So why is that an acceptable thing to request of me? I should have read the reviews first. Learn from my mistake. Got a 2019 Jetta in September 2021. In December got a warning on dash to "CHECK STARTING SYSTEM" I took it back to them and was told 2 mechanics looked at my car and said nothing was wrong. Long story short it happened several times after. I took it to an outside mechanic and he pulled 11 codes on my car. He looked at me and said, "There's no way they looked at this car, they lied to you." At the end of the day, these people will put money over your life. And they will pay for it. Manipulative, Distasteful, Dishonest and Very Terrible Customer Service I was referred by aalla friend. I was a bit skeptic and decided to give Auto Giants a try. I filled out the information on line. A few minutes after I received call and a text and the calls and text kept coming. After speaking to Alexis and Christina they told me that I am guaranteed to walk out with a car. I explained to them that I don't have a car and I would have to Uber to the Woodbridge location. I explained this to them over and over and they insisted that I go that I will walk out with a car. Give them the benefit of the doubt and went to the Woodbridge Location. When I got there David was the sales person who worked with me. Again he guranteed that I will leave with a car with a downpayment of a DIME which was the special they advertised. After sitting there for 2 1/2hr I was approved and I was ONLY approved for a Mistibushi Mirage. Then he came back and told me that they don't have the car on the lot and they have to get it from another dealership. I asked David if he can't give me something else within the same price range and he rudely said NO. He said that when they get the car I will have to come back. So I left WITHOUT A CAR spend another 20.00 to get home and I have to spend another 20.00 to go back. From the day I walked in Auto Giants i.must say I was taken great care of. The sales Person Sayvonn greated me outside ..shook my hand..and kept me encouraged through the entire purchasing process. I arrived for my appointment with my Living Social voucher on my phone as instructed. The heavy-set hispanic clerk was very rude and told me I needed a paper "authorization" though I had been told on a previous visit that Auto Giant "did not take paper vouchers" causing me to have to make a new appointment. He would not explain or even answer my questions. I left totally baffled. On the one previous visit, two screws were not replaced on the plate underneath the car. After driving several miles, the plate started dragging on the road causing a very loud noise so I had to return the next day to get that fixed. I've given this business two chances. If I could rate this place a ZERO I would. It was an awful experience. I came in with near 2000 cash in hand, READY to purchase a good mid-sized car. I arrived around 4 pm. By the time I left, it was near 9 PM and I did NOT have a car. A. The "salesman" assigned to me was borderline RACIST, even as a black man. He asked my aunt if she had "food stamps". He openly flirted with my aunt = UNPROFESSIONAL. He asked my aunt "do you make crab legs". I mean, I felt like I was in the straight GHETTO. B. They had me sitting there for near 4 hours, unattended, occasionally swinging by to "assure me" by saying: "HEY MAN, YOU'RE NEXT" C. The couple next to me was afforded more respect I guess because they were there before me, and was nearer the actual SIGN of the car. That couple was offered drinks, food from the food truck, while I was left sitting there all because, as Manager "MIKE" put it, "YOURS IS A TOUGH DEAL" D. Finally, after waiting for darn near 4 hours, "salesman" Isaac Rush a.k.a. "Ike" broke the "good news" to me. "You can drive out with a Chrysler 200 for only 1700 down". I was excited. E. So, I ran out and told my ride who'd kindly been waiting for 4 hours, that he could leave. When I arrived back in the show room, I was informed that "Ike" had made a mistake and that I'd need 2200 down for the Chrysler 200, but 1700 could put me in a Chrysler Sebring, something I did NOT want. F. I was livid. I literally had to run out to catch my ride before he drove off. Luckily I did. G. When I returned, the salespeople at the front were very RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. They basically blamed ME for "wasting their time"...not even being PROFESSIONAL enough to APOLOGIZE or even look me in the Eye. H. So, as I walked out furious, I had a few "choice" words for "salesman" IKE and ALL the sales force. It was truly the worst buying experience of my life. These people think that because perhaps you had a slip up, or a bankruptcy, or maybe fell upon hard times that they can disrespect you, mistreat you, and low ball you because of your situation. Getting a car is a big deal because it can change your life in a lot of ways. I'll start off by saying someone in my condition who wasn't favorable was still able to have a pretty ok experience negotiating and getting a car. It's case by case here, so everyone's experience is different but I can say after the numbers crunched in my favor it was a crime to pay more than a dime! Lol I would suggest asking alot of questions and being sure of everything before taking something that you will be responsible for. As a whole the place was enthusiastic about making things work and getting you a car. Logistics are another thing. Everything can seem good leading up to the deal but I would suggest making sure they are on the same page and that all information is accurate & true with so many people playing a part in the process. After talking logistics , Melissa Shannon who did my deal helped me leave with a beautiful car. It was a bit unorganized and frustrating at times dealing with the behind the scenes of what led up to me receiving my car and the things necessary to make me happy after the fact, but within reason, mike and his team did accommodate me, got me the things I needed, made me feel welcome & put me in position to receive a car. I was strong in regards to my expectations as it's a big deal, and they were consistent in the end with meeting me when needed. I would suggest slowing down the process, for quality control and making sure all things are transparent and clear to both parties. It eliminates a lot of the after follow ups. So far so good, only looking to the future from now. In the end, mike Brandon, Melissa & Ryan gave me a good experience and I would suggest that you go get a whip, with a strong overseeing eye to the process to ensure you are making the best decision. I went in after hearing the commercial and didn't expect too much, spoke with Joe who sat me through all my options and answered and questions I had. Funny thing is that they had a better car than I wanted at a great rate, that's all thanks to Joe. They laid clear my monthly payments and I was able to walk out with a car that exceeded my expectations in quality and value. HIGHLY DO NOT RECCOMEND AUTO GIANTS! In 2019 I went to Auto Giants to trade in my old car and buy a used vehicle. The year was a 2019 and only had 48,000 miles on the car. There were no issues with the car until recently in the beginning of this year 2021 when I noticed my car was not driving correctly. The check engine light was on and the car did not accelerate after the brakes are released. On March 8th, 2021, I brought my car to the Auto Giants at the Temple Hills location. I spoke with John from Auto Giants that morning. He asked what my name was and I said Tianna then he snickered. I asked confused, "what was funny"? and he stated nothing and shook his head so I thought that was a bit strange and I let it go. I asked him if the warranty (that was purchased with my vehicle) can cover the cost of the issue I am having. John told me that I would have to come out of pocket for a diagnostic. He stated that will cost about $400 to just have someone see what the issue is. He mentioned that he was not going to have his guys use there $100,000 tools to see what the problem is for free. That was entirely too much for me and it also did not sound right so I left. A few months later I went to the dealership who originally manufactured the car. After paying only $150 diagnostic, he stated that the transmission has failed and I need a new one which ranges for around $6000. He stated that I should call Auto Giants to see what they can do. The original manufacture stated the warenty would cover it but the labor cost would be about $87 per hour. I spoke with John and he stated that I should bring the car to Auto Giants so we can take a look. So I decided to have the car towed from the car's manufactures dealership to Auto Giants in Temple Hills on June 29th, 2021. Once the car was dropped off that afternoon around 6:31 p.m. the tow truck driver dropped the keys off to an employee that told him to park the car in the service lot at Auto giants. Two days later Thursday July 1st, at 10:36 a.m. I received a call from John saying that my car keys are nowhere to be found. Friday July 2nd 10: 27 a.m. John called and stated he found the keys on a desk. I asked him how did this happen and he stated that the tow truck driver dropped the key off with a random person when according to Auto Giants, the car keys are supposed to be dropped off in the drop of box or the service desk and at the time of the drop off. Now 4 days later July 6th, John called me and stated that the car is now out of warenty because the car has to be within 72,161 miles and also the expiration on my warenty is July 8th, 2021 and we can no longer help. Keep in mind I came to this dealership in the beginning of this year and he said he can not even preform a diagnostic without $400. I finally got a hold of the service manager Ahmad who has been extremely helpful throughout this process. He was able to negotiate with the warenty company and was able to get my car a transmission with only 8,000 miles on it. This was great new. About 3 1/2 weeks later i was able to walk away with my car. Here is the catch. About one week and a half later, My car breaks down in the middle of the road. Just completely shuts down. Immediately I called auto giants to tell them what has happened and that I will be having my car towed back to Auto Giants. Once I arrived, I spoke with the manager Lonnie. I told him everything that has happened from beginning to end and I asked if I can have a loaner car in the meantime since this has inconvenienced me for over a month. He says that is not possible due to company rules and there is nothing he can really do for me besides have the car looked at the next day since the service department was closed. The next day came and I received an email stating exactly this, "The battery in the car is rated four 700 cold cranking amps (CCA) and the result came back the battery in the car has only 112 CCA and recommended a new battery, when we went forward with the charging system test, we found that the starter itself passed with normal voltage, and the alternator failed due to low voltage. We performed an on board diagnostic scan on the vehicle to verify no other engine or transmission fault were stored in the vehicle computer". The estimated amount of labor and parts added up to be 1,066.36. Given that I've been through a lot with Auto Giants, I decided not to allow them to work on my vehicle any longer. I ended up buying the parts needed on my own and having someone install it for me which totaled to be about $760. Again, I DO NOT RECOMEND AUTO GIANTS. Went to the dealership with a previously booked appointment. (they do a very good job at making sure that you are really coming). To my surprise the dealership was extremely packed and everyone was working diligently with their clients. Upon walking up to the door I was greeted by Aja and her brother who was training. They were extremely warm and welcoming and from the first handshake made me and my mom feel comfortable. As Aja wanted to ensure her trainee was following every step she ensured to walk through everything at an efficient pace for us both. She asked what my goal was today and I told her the exact model that I was looking for. After gathering my personal information she introduced me to the financial manager (I cant remember his name) but he was just as amazing and transparent. Not at all through the process did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. After a few more exchanges of info, she allowed me to test drive a different vehicle that fit better with my terrible credit score. She even followed me and my mom home to pick up our trade in which her and the financial manager gave us TOP DOLLAR. After the financial manager pulled a few strings with the bank Aja's trainee came back and said "come outside, I pulled up something that we know you'll love". That they absolutely did. Not long after I was ringing the sold gong and was leaving out in the car I dreamed of with a great payment. In a nutshell, Aja is the BEST! Her customer service, ability to make you comfortable, her want to ensure you are 100% satisfied, all while training a new hire was displayed from the very first hand shake, to the last hug before we departed (yes we became friends :) lol). My folks bought a '15 Hyundai from them and they over exaggerated the performance, maintenance, and interior of the car and sold it to him for 30k. When He returned his vehicle back to the location where he originally purchased it, the body shop did not properly fix whatever mechanical issue that the car was having. I bought a Groupon for an oil change, tire rotation and fluid top off from these guys a few weeks back because I needed this work done and didn't want to spend a ton of money. After buying my groupon, I went on their website and scheduled an appointment for a Tuesday afternoon. This was about 3 or 4 days in advance so I wasn't really worried that they didn't have my appointment scheduled after not calling to confirm. A nice young man checked me in, took my keys and walked me to a waiting room where I could see the guys working on my cars. Not really sure how the young lady a few reviews down didn't get her tires rotated. I literally watched the guy do everything to my car and was very happy with the service. I only wished that a complimentary car wash came with service (as they do at large car dealerships) but with a $50 Groupon I can't really complain. The cars were overpriced and many had dings and scratches on the bumpers and doors. I was sent as a secret shopper to feel things out, they definitely need some help in the customer service area. They speak extremely candidly and are not professional. Be prepared to be called "sweetheart" by some of the male salesmen. I think they work for people who are in a bind, have bad credit and just need to find a car quickly. They are not going to allow you to walk out of there without trying to get you into a financing situation that could possibly be very expensive for you in the long run. This place is very misleading, and they just want to run you credit so they can make quotas. Let me start off by saying they claim to help people with all credits situations, which is not true, if you know your credit is bad don't let the people over the phone like Erica & Taneesha convince you that they can work with you, because it's just a mind game to get you to come in. But I just decided to go, they were so nice they even got me a lyft from the station to their location. Once I got there Minique helped me (a very sweet, & understanding girl, this has nothing to do with her i would give her 5 stars) I told Minique that I spoke Tanesha over the phone and I made sure to tell her my credit isn't good, I'm working on it. they were very convincing over the phone, so I just wanted to get some more info to see if I could potentially get a car. I brung in all the info the asked me to bring 2 pieces of mail, 2 pay stubs, and my ID. a dark skinned black guy with noticeable brown eye not hazel, but legit a deep brown and a really square shape-up (I'm black & darker skinned too so I'm not being racist or colorist, I wasn't able to get his name ) runs my credit, in the process I'm telling minique im just trying to see what kind of car I would be able to get and an estimate. This disgustingly rude guy, the man I was talking about, walk over underlines my credit score, as me "how much money can you put down today" I tell him nothing today I was coming in for information. He goes "well it's nothing I can do for you" takes all the paper work that I brung with me puts it in a file, and walk away. So then I asked miniqiue can I get a copy of my credit report, she said "we don't do that here." So I'm like ok then can i at least see my credit report. She come back and say "he said he can't do that." So I explain to her that by law if I request to see my credit report after they ran my credit they have to let me. So she goes and tell him, then he come back and says "Oh I'm sorry I didn't know that is what you were saying." He then tells me that I don't even know how to read a credit report, which is not true, he was surprised when I was able to fully understand without his help. I told Minique I'm going to come back once I fit up my credit, this finical advisor the same man I been talking about say "oh that's going to take 7 years" so I'm like that not true it's ways around it he says "oh no one will work with you definitely 7 years" I end up making plans get a car that cost around 5k elsewhere, so I don't have to take out a loan. I call back to get my paper work with my home address, and bank info on it because I don't feel safe with the rude man having access to home address, knowing my place of work etc. This mans tell me that if I was able to get another car that I handed in fraudulent information and so they have to keep all my information on file for 7 years. I continue to call back to see what information was fraudulent because I know 10000% that all the paperwork l gave was legit, & I would never in my life do that. These people never told me what info was frad I'm still waiting to hear back. But now this number texts my phone everyday claiming to be Minique and telling me to call. I called and it wasn't Minique, it's always a random guy(I know not it's her because I call the receptionist will answer then, I explain Minique sent a text for me to call her, once I get transfer to the person that sent the text it's not Minique always a random guy) . At this point I feel like this man is abusing his job and harassing me for personal entertainment. Now the one thing I will say is that the service was great, no problem with that. The biggest reason for this 2* review is based upon the radio advertisement. Constantly, commercials are running on the radio stations saying how this establishment gives credit amnesty and putting a dime (10 cents) down for your vehicle however, they do not include the fine print. Somehow, I had the lovely mark on my credit that prevented the amnesty from coming into play. I have to put $3000 down for my amnesty to be in effect. Now, what sucks is that I was hopeful that my experience wouldn't be the same as other used car dealerships. Sadly, that was not the case. I bought a car from them in April and my car started falling apart and now I have to pay $300 for new brakes! They scam tf out of you! It's not really a dime down!! Plus they have you paying a bunch of money for a car that should be half the price! The prices are horrible and the cars are faulty! They will sell you any kind of car! PLEASE DONT COME HERE FOR REPAIRS AND DONT BUY A CAR FROM THEM! They are HORRIBLE! PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. This dealership has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced in my life. They promised to deliver my car several times because they could not print my tags on the day of my purchase. The general manager promised to deliver my car as a convenience and I was given the run around by several employee's regarding the delivery. I paid money to drive off the lot with a car and they kept my money and they still have my car. I am angry and I deserve to be treated with respect. read more

Sent me a text daid im good to go Went in, then they ran my credit. An hour and a half later, told me i needed 5000 down! Risked my health just to get jerked around.
