I went to several other locations as well, but I was pleased with the friendly nature of the staff and the fact that no one talked down to me because I was a girl. Yes, that still happens. They've been in business since 1931 and it's family owned and operated. The fact that they have been around for so long and still receive so many positive reviews is what swayed my decision to come here. I needed to have several parts repaired and replaced on the rear of my Mazda. So far it's all looking great and holding together well. I know that they guarantee their work so if I have issues, they aren't too far away. I'm confident that the team will fix anything if it comes up. They completed all repairs in just a few days which was amazing. The condition of my car was just as I had left it, no smudges or greasy hand prints that I have found. I'd definitely come back, but hopefully I won't need to!

I was over due on on some of the maintenance my car needed and took it over to Clifford's as we have been seeing them for years. It is currently under new ownership and am happy to say it is the same great service I have always gotten. I initially brought my car in for a timing belt replacement and alignment. After bringing in my car they called and confirmed that the timing belt should be replaced and also let me know the alignment was good but may need to be serviced later on. I had asked if they would also do a fluid flush on my transmission as it hadn't been changed since it come from the dealership (~190,000 Miles) and was going to do it myself but decided I would leave it to the professionals since I was already taking my car in. My car is running like new again and couldn't be happier. As mentioned, I won't hesitate to return for any future service my car needs!

For example, I went to pick up my 1985 Corvette once and one of the techs was just finishing up hosing out the radiator ducting of leaves that had accumulated--and the repair wasn't even related to that. Bill knows Corvettes inside and out and, despite always being busy, is willing to take the time to talk about an issue and convey what he knows and recommends. I live in fear that he'll retire one day soon--I'm not sure who I'll trust my Vettes with in the future were that to happen. Yelp! I'm begging you not to sideline this review as "not recommended."
