I got hit by a school bus! Fisco is one of the first places I went to for a quote because they are five minutes away from home. I went to several other locations as well, but I was pleased with the friendly nature of the staff and the fact that no one talked down to me because I was a girl. Yes, that still happens. They've been in business since 1931 and it's family owned and operated. The fact that they have been around for so long and still receive so many positive reviews is what swayed my decision to come here. I needed to have several parts repaired and replaced on the rear of my Mazda. So far it's all looking great and holding together well. I know that they guarantee their work so if I have issues, they aren't too far away. I'm confident that the team will fix anything if it comes up. They completed all repairs in just a few days which was amazing. The condition of my car was just as I had left it, no smudges or greasy hand prints that I have found. My moderately aging vehicle had to play bumper cars with a un-knowledgeable driver and I needed a place where they knew about body work. Wisconsin repaired what was damaged and for a moment I thought they'd given me a new vehicle back in error. It looked hust like it did the day I picked it up 8 years earlier at the dealership. Not trilled with the repair on my truck... overspray left on windows, tape job was apparently terrible. I have auxiliary lighting on my truck that was put back on with non waterproof connectors, and 3 out of the 4 lights don't work. Multiple gaskets not put back in properly and or have broken clips and will need to be replaced Sad part about this is my truck was left there at the end of January and I told them it was no rush to do the repair. I picked the truck up on April 16th and this is what I find. Sad day for the future of trades, I'm hopeful that this doesn't happen to anyone else If I could give zero stars I would read more

I had a side mirror replaced on my car. The part did need to be ordered, so it did take a little while to get the part in. When it came in I stayed in touch, and they were ready for me before I had time to get there myself! When I went back, the mirror was installed quickly, and I was on my way. Mirror looks great, paint was done well, and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend Fisco for the quality of their work and their friendliness. read more

I am passing thru the Milwaukee area and found I had unhinged my L rubber bumper. I first went to a Muffler place on Janesville Rd. They could not help, but suggested I go to Fisco Auto Body. I traveled to them, expecting a future time appointment. It was already in the afternoon. One of the team came out and looked at the bumper; said he could fix it in about a half hour. I went to the office and a mere 20 minutes later, my car was ready for the road!! The fee was way below my expectations and I let them know how gracious and kind they are/were. This winter sucked. Fisco Auto Body does not. My front bumper getting caught on a snowbank coated with ice as I pulled out of my driveway would not be a problem if this were 1957 and I was driving a Chevy. However, since it's 2014 and I have a Honda with a plastic bumper that functioned best as a slingshot in this situation (sending my entire front bumper careening wildly onto my lawn), it's a problem. Fisco took that problem and made it go away. Steve gave a very fair price on a new bumper, provided great service and did outstanding work. Winters in Wisconsin continue to be a challenge and Fisco Auto Body continues to provide the same great service they have for more than 80 years. Absolutely the best experiences I have had with auto body repair. The team at Fisco does fantastic work and the staff's service is second to none. I have had three cars repaired at Fisco, two collision and one rust repair; a Volkswagen Touareg, a Porsche 911, and a Buick LeSabre. All were done beyond my expectations. I had gotten into an accident this winter smashed my front end, I called my insurance company to ask what shops were covered and they suggested this one. I went in for an estimate and they were extremely nice. I made the claim and called to schedule to take my car in. It was really easy to make an appointment. It was supposed to take 4 days to get my car done Monday-Thursday. Fine no big deal I smashed my front end I didn't expect it to take a day! Well Thursday rolls around and I'm excited to get my car done they call me around 5 and tell me that my number clip was not in yet because it came in the wrong color so they had to send it back. It wasn't a problem for me since I had my boyfriends car to drive while he was out if town so they said it would be done Friday. Friday rolls around they call me at 4:45pm saying the part still hadn't come in today, it was going to be finished by the time they closed so I asked (since I already paid on Thursday) I they could leave my key so I could pick it up later that night since I had plans. Went to go get it my cars were unlocked but my key was not left. I had to wait till Monday to pick it up only to have to sign papers. Now I loved the job they did on my car and they were extremely nice but they aren't the best and contacting people in a convenient time (preferably before they are about to close) and I think it would be smart to double check that order before they send it in to make sure the part is coming back the correct color. It's hard for me to say if I would go back to them, but I do love the work they did on my car and am happy to have it back ( they also washed it and it looked mighty fine (: ) read more

I had an issue with the door of my RAV4 which had violently blown open during an extremely windy day. The Toyota dealer (Wilde) told me that there was extensive damage to the door and window and that the repair would be very expensive, even though there was no visible damage. The only problem was that the window was not working properly. Then they told me that they were unable to do the repair and I should take it to a body shop. Fisco was able to repair the problem in less than an hour and for only $61.00! I was expecting to pay hundreds based on Toyota's estimate. Extremely happy with their work, their prices, and their customer relations. Highly recommended. read more

I was broadsided being hit on the driver's side, both doors. My car is an 18 year old Ruby Red Buick Park Avenue. I keep it in pristine condition and was worried the insurance company would want to total it. After looking at my car, the insurance investigator said that he gave it the highest rating he could and asked me where I planned to have it fixed. I told him Fisco Auto Body and he raved about the place. Said they do excellent work. I had the work done there and the investigator was right. Fisco Auto Body did a beautiful job. They fixed the damage and matched the paint so that you could not tell there had been an accident. They washed, waxed and buffed the car so that it looked like it had just been driven off the showroom floor...well, pretty close being that it's an 18 year old car. Everyone who had seen my car with the accident damage and then after being fixed has been thoroughly impressed. Everyone at Fisco that I spoke with were very professional, courteous, helpful and friendly and from my experience, I would not hesitate to recommend them. read more

I had two of our cars here for repair after seeing an ad in a movie theater. Overall, the treatment was friendly. My first car was repaired by another shop and that shop did a lousy repair. Fisco found the issue and made the repair, but they failed to paint the new part to match my car. This was an inconvenience to me as the shop is far from my workplace. Once done, it looked good. My experience with our second car was similar, but less than satisfactory, and will result in us never using this shop again. We brought the car in for repairs and they never called to tell us that it wasn't done. Again, another wasted trip. When they did finish it a day later, the repair was poorly done. I think they lack final quality control on their work. There were about 4 issues, including the repair not being aligned, the lock not being repaired, and painting not being done. We had to be inconvenienced once again and bring it back in for more repairs, but then they didn't repair the rear hatch lock, now claiming it was normal wear and tear. They told us to work it out with our insurance company. Funny thing, it worked the day of the accident as we were moving that day. They even knew the lock was jammed from the first time and didn't repair it, claiming that most people open their trunks with the remote anyway. When my wife picked up her car and asked about the lock, she was given an attitude from the owner. Pros: decent work when done right, easy to schedule Cons: shoddy quality control, major inconvenience in having to have work re-done, poor communication at times. "0" stars only because I won't be going here again and would not recommend them to anyone else. read more
