Until a few days ago, I'd never even set foot inside of a Pep Boys, even though I've driven past this location dozens of times over the last few years. I grew up shopping at AutoZone and O'Reilly's, and there wasn't a Pep Boys in my hometown. These days, I'm team Advance Auto Parts all the way! But Pep Boys is now officially on my radar. I was actually on my way to the Elite event at Cacao & Cardamom when my TPMS light came on. I thought it was strange, so I stopped and got out to investigate. What do I spy but this HUGE screw stuck in my tire and bent at an odd angle. NOOOO! I call my friend Eddie S, to have him let Farrah know that I won't make it (boooo!) and I remember that Pep Boys is literally a minute away from the gas station I've stopped at, so I slowly make my way there. I pull up, and ask one of the employees for some assistance. It's somewhat slow, so they're able to get my SUV in right away. One employee comes in a few minutes later to inform me that due to the nature of the tire damage--the screw went in head first, which widens the hole and makes repair very difficult--the tech recommends a new tire. I'm honestly pissed, because this tire is the NEW one I bought a few months ago. But they were able to pull the nail out and plug the damage for now, and I have a little more time before I have to purchase yet ANOTHER new tire. I was in and out within 20 minutes, and they were gracious enough to not even charge me for the tire plug! I was even able to make a late appearance at the Elite event after all, just in time for chocolate and a little bubbly. Wins all around!

They refuse to document damages after I had the truck delivered to their front door. Wanted me to make a claim. I did and I received the most Ghetto rep with a bad attitude demanding that I have my truck towed to a shop with a lift and wait 3-5 days for a pep boy's claims guy looks at the damages. i Explained that I fixed my truck already and I'm not paying to have it towed. I asked if PepBoys would cover the cost of the tow. She said no and ended my claim. Also, the black rude btch at the Conroe office needs to be fired. After reading the other comments, there are many pe who had problems with pep boys and with this location (Conroe Texas). It cost ME over $1000 to fix my truck. STAY AWAY From PepBoys. Especially the Conroe location.
