It was Thanksgiving evening 2020, with the COVID pandemic in full bloom, carrying a takeout Thanksgiving dinner back home -- when on this cool, quiet holiday evening -- my INFINITI G 37s 6-speed-manual, suddenly froze me out of shifting into the next gear. Over a period of the next 2-days, following a AAA tow of my vehicle to the Infiniti of Tacoma dealership where a severe clutch failure diagnosis was given -- followed by a most egregious cost estimate to make the necessary repairs -- I came to the obvious conclusion that I needed to find a new and trusted home for carrying out future service and repairs to my vehicle. After conducting a substantial, 3-hour, online search for a knowledgeable, trusted private auto service garage location -- whereupon I contacted numerous businesses -- I talked extensively with both "Toni" and "Brandon," owners' of "Auto Correct LLC." I found both parties not only to be personable, but Brandon, indeed, knew his trade. I could tell he took great pride in running his business, combined with the hands-on-master- mechanics-work he proudly provided. The following day, my disabled car was towed from the Infiniti dealership directly to Auto Correct in South Tacoma. Subsequently, suggestions were made by Brandon to install a heavier-duty aftermarket clutch kit assembly, whereupon necessary parts were ordered and repairs were made to my vehicle. I picked up my repaired vehicle yesterday with superior repair and parts upgrades completed by Brandon. It performs perfectly. Bottom line, I was able to save more than $2,500.00 from the original cost repair estimate as quoted to me by Infiniti of Tacoma. Additionally, too, I found a new, trusted, and much more reasonably-priced auto repair source... "Auto Correct LLC." I met Brandon and Toni Conrad while having a windshield for my Acura installed next to Auto Correct. I walked in during my wait and began to chat with Toni who introduced me to Brandon. We discussed my other vehicle a Corvette and the factory exhaust on that vehicle. I voiced my desire to beef up the sound leaning toward a sound closer to what my Harley has. Brandon immediately impressed me with his knowledge and expertise of all lines of exhaust. Eventually I took my Corvette in and Brandon created and installed the Outlaw Race Muffler. Such a nice family owned business. My trucks brake fluid light came on while out with my husband and kids. I called up auto correct and they got my truck in straight away ! They did the brake fluid and noticed one of the brake lines had a leak ! A simple fixed turned into a little bit more of a tricky one. But they got right to it and in 4 hours I had my truck back. We were so lucky on a Memorial Day weekend they were able to get my truck in and get it done so fast ! Super appreciated ! read more

Brandon was great! I had a terrible experience with a towing company and ended up driving myself to AutoCorrect. He assured me he'd take care of me and that he wouldn't pull any funny business like the tow company did. He was able to get hard to find parts the day after I dropped off my car, (I dropped it off late on Friday). He also took the time to show me what exactly was wrong with my battery and explained the process to me along the way. It was a tad more expensive that I wished it would be, but I definitely feel comfortable going back there again knowing that he's a genuine and kind person who just wants to make sure his customers get the best service possible. read more

This business fixed my car when the insurance spent 4 grand along with my deductible to a dishonest lazy company called Caliber Collision in pacific way. 4 grand to put up a side bumper?? What a joke! The mechanic here running the business with his wife. GOD bless their soul! They are phenomenal! Oil change and fixed the mistakes Caliber collision couldn't "handle". These chains are all about money but not about the cars and the people that drive them. If you have issues with your car call them don't call these chain mechanic shops such as Firestone or caliber collision cause they charge you your soul! I told them I needed it done because I Door Dash and door dash is my only income they game me a lot of discounts. This is the best mechanic shop in Washington! read more

Been trying to find a shop to install my aftermarket exhaust upgrades on my Subaru for a couple weeks now. I gave the shop a call, Brandon told me to come down and he would take a look at it. Long story short, gave me a short tour of the garage (very nice), before I knew it, the car was up on the lift. I headed home, he told me he would have it done in about 3 hours. Got the call two hours later it was ready for pickup. The price was $100 lower than the estimate. This being a fairly new shop I was hesitant to pull the trigger. I'm glad I did though. I'm glad I found this place just randomly through yelp! A mom and pop type of business but with topnotch experience like the bigwigs but these people got reasonable pricing and they are honest! Dani (the wife/owner) is super nice, very knowledgeble and accommodating. Brandon (husband/owner) is by far one of the best in the industry and has the certifications to prove it. Read till the end: they threaten to persecute me for this review! I had problems with horn not working and steering wheel backlash. My experience was extremely terrible. I spent money but they did not fix my problems! I do not recommend this service to everyone. It is terrible... I was attracted to this service by "free inspection". But inspection means not diagnostics (as they explained to me upon presenting a bill). They explained, that they have no responsibility about results of such "inspection". They "inspected" my vehicle and then suggested a small price to fix the issue with a horn and steering wheel. After I agreed, they told that real problem is something else. And price will be twice higher for the repair... I agreed again. After that, they told that nothing of my initial problems was fixed. But I still need to pay them for "labor". So they made improper diagnostics twice. (Sorry, it was "inspection". "Inspection" is different from diagnostics because when you "inspect" something, you can say any rave and take no responsibility - as I understood their explanation). And they just took money for time waste. To fix the horn, they removed alarm system (of course, they did not put it back, and did not fix horn). For the steering wheel: the backlash became WORSE after that "repair"!!! When I came to this service, guys were very nice. In the end, they were very rude when asking my money. For example, they told me that they will take my car if I will not pay. I was thinking about calling the police, but didn't do that just because I needed to come back to work soon. I thought that this issue is extraordinary just for me. But after that, I have read another reviews. Please see them at google maps marked with 1 star. You will see that it is a not one-time practice for these guys to take money and do not fix your car problem! Here are our conversations: ME: How much will be to diagnose this? THEY: Our inspections are free! ... No charge until we do the work. ... THEY: Repair wiring to make horn work - $66.00 ... THEY: This vehicle has an after market alarm system in it that is interfering with the horn operation. The alarm system will need removed in order for the horn to be operational. ... THEY: After getting the wiring back to manufacturer specification in order to test the system (no after market wiring), there is a wiring problem inside the steering column. I will need to take it apart to complete repairs. This would add additional labor hours to the repair. Will you provide authorization for the additional labor, bringing the bill total to $150.00 + tax. ME: ok ... THEY: After electrical diagnostics, ... found that the horn circuit contact is broken inside the steering column. Unfortunately, that circuit contact is an internal part that cannot be replaced by itself without removing and rebuilding the entire steering column ... The bill total is $151.17 (this includes putting the wiring back to stock as well as electrical diagnostics and labor for disassemble and reassemble of the front half of the steering column). Your horn will NOT work with the key on until such time as the steering column has been replaced. Overall, I ordered to fix steering and horn. They "inspected" car, "found" problem and suggested to repair it with a certain price. Then, they did a lot of redundant work (that I did not order initially) but did not fix initial problems. In the end, they presented a bill for redundant work. "Pay or we will take your car", they said. UPDATE: On the same day service owner responded to my review on Google maps (you can see it below). They explained charge: - "...Our technician spent at least 3 hours..." (but they did not write that "technician" could spend 3 hours smoking or sleeping with the same result of "your horn will not work". I do not know what he really did, but they OFFERED to make repair and car was NOT repaired) - "... repair wiring ... done." (my horn does NOT work) On another day, service owner posted another reply on Yelp. He mentioned a lot of disadvantages of my car (which he did not mention before). Then he threatened: "WE WILL PURSUE LEGAL SOLUTIONS..." (because of my reviews) I am not kitting - check that photo of comment on Yelp. I have no comments about that last statement... Of course, owner forgot to say that he did NOT fix my initial problems... read more
