Excellent customer service! Very efficient as I didn't wait long for installation. Owner answered all of my questions and gave after-installation directions to prevent any issues with the new windshield. He even said he would come to Santa Clarita to take care of it, if there were any issues with the workmanship related to the installation. He also said there would be no charge if that happened and it was found to be related to his workmanship. I had no issues with the new windshield or the installation of it so there was no need to call back and request he come out. The workmanship was fine as was the fee, but communication was horrible. I made an appointment, only to arrive and have a worker have no idea about it and no record of my call. The work took over a week to do and the only follow up I received was in response to multiple calls. Had Steve (the owner) simply said he was having trouble with getting the supplies he needed and called with updates, I would not only have understood but would have been willing to pay more for the work. The lack of communication and worse having been told that my car would be done and ready to pick up on two different days meant my time and plans were wasted and made difficult, too. I would not recommend using Auto City Glass unless you are okay with leaving your car with them and waiting on an unknown timeline for the work to be completed. read more

My back windshield got busted out because I backed into an underground parking spot that had a pipe sticking out that I could not see and I have never needed a windshield replaced so I had no prior experience knowing where to turn except my insurance company. The place my insurance sent me to, on top of 3 other places I called, said they couldn't fix my windshield for up to 7-10 days and it would cost between $500-$800. I was so nervous that my car would get broken into if I waited to get it fixed so I called Auto City Glass because a friend I mine in the Oxnard area recommended them. I live in West Hollywood so Oxnard was not on my radar when looking for someone to take my car to but boy am I glad I did! Sylvia was able to get me in the very next morning (I called at 4pm the day before) and my windshield was fixed within 2 hours. at first the lady I spoke to on the phone was super nice but wasn't very professional. the guys were two hours late to fix my winsheild and just left without saying anything . I then noticed three large scratches in the winsheild they put on and I called and (Celia) I think was her name, same person I spoke to before ... was very rude. all she wanted was for me to finish the payment of what I owed and got very defensive when I talked about the scratches. I was told they would come and check it out, and no one ever came. I was also told I would receive a call from the owner to help me out which never happened. I then payed the $300 to fix it, and told them I won't be coming to them again. she didn't offer me a discount, or even ask if I wanted to do something else about the issue. she processed my payment and hung up. so disappointed . I was referred to Auto City Glass by my insurance company for a windshield repair. The reason I am giving this business a one star is for the lack of follow through expected. We made an appointment for the technician to repair our windshield on a Thursday, the appointment comes and goes without anybody coming to show up. I call the business and it turns out the technician left early per the secretary. They didn't think to call the customer who was waiting? Then we reschedule for Saturday, the technician is again a half hour late. I call the business twice but the voicemail is full. At 40 minutes after our confirmed appointment time the technician calls and says he's 20 minutes away. At that point I am able to tell him not to come, I'm taking my business elsewhere.
