He was responsive, professional, and tried to work through the deal with me. The reason I ultimately walked away was a loss of confidence in the dealership's handling of the trade value. I was quoted $15,000 for my trade sight unseen, with the understanding that the final value would still be subject to a physical inspection when I arrived. That was completely reasonable to me. The problem was that before anyone had ever seen or appraised my truck, the trade value changed to $14,000. At that point, the issue was no longer the $1,000 difference. I was prepared to pay cash for the new truck, so the amount itself was not what caused me to walk away. The issue was whether I could trust that the numbers being presented to me would actually be honored once I made the trip to the dealership. The new-truck pricing itself was very attractive, and we had worked through the selling price, military rebate, fees, and other details. But once the trade value changed without any new information or inspection of my vehicle, I no longer felt comfortable proceeding. Luis accepted responsibility for the discrepancy, but I personally do not believe this was simply about him misquoting a number. Regardless of how or why it happened internally, the end result for me was the same: I lost confidence in the transaction. This is not a review written because I didn't get the price I wanted. It is about the importance of a dealership standing behind the numbers it gives a customer. If a trade value is quoted as $15,000 subject to inspection, then I believe that should remain the starting point unless the inspection reveals something that justifies changing it. I chose to walk away from what otherwise appeared to be a very good deal because, at the end of the day, trust in the transaction mattered more to me than the $1,000 difference. I do appreciate Luis and the time he spent working with me. My concern is with how the overall deal was handled, not with him personally.

I was told it was "hail damage, that was already there" but my insurance company (A‑MAX) confirmed the photos of my car and confirmed there was no hail damage at all -- and this was confirmed directly on the phone with the used sales manager, Jeff Summers, who heard the same thing I did. Jeff Summers, the used car manager, wanted me to file a claim with my insurance that has a $1000 deductible. What hurt me the most wasn't just the damage -- it was the way I was treated when I tried to get answers. I was pushed aside, and told to leave the premises like I didn't matter. Because I started filing a complaint with DTPA I stood there feeling small, confused, and deeply disrespected. The General Manager even said he would "get the previous owner to verify the vehicle was sold with hail damage," even though nothing was disclosed to me, carfax report and no other documentation exists of prior hail damage at purchase of this vehicle in August 2026. At that moment, I felt like they were trying to rewrite the truth instead of taking responsibility for what happened under their care.I filed a police report and contacted GM Corporate. GM has now opened an official case (Case #112406299). I no longer feel safe or respected dealing with this dealership. This experience was painful, stressful, and deeply disappointing. I trusted them, and that trust was broken in a way I will never forget.

First sales rep forward my info on to the owner who went by the name of "Hammy". Owner texts me with more info that I asked about, specifically, the current odometer reading - as the Car Facts showed almost no change in the odometer in 4 years since they purchased it from an auction. The odometer photo he sent me showed around 47K miles instead. Asked what price he was selling it at now and he responded $16990. So the list price was off by $3,000 and the miles were off by 12,000. Their own website also shows the same listing info. https://bit.ly/2LcKZZy Hammy tried to tell me that he "already had a buyer lined up for Saturday" and that it was first come first serve. I told him "cool, see ya." This is 100% shady and I would caution anyone from considering doing business with someone who operates their business in this manner.

They were willing to turn it in just like that. I left the place not wanting nothing from them. I was not lead to purchase a car from them. Act at your own risk, be careful.

I also needed to take time off work for this appointment. I arrived at the dealership and was handed off to an associate as Samantha was apparently busy with another customer. The associate proceeds to go find the keys and bring the car up for viewing. Samantha assured me the car would be waiting when I arrived, it was not and for good reason. The associate returns to inform me the car was sent off to auction. This is after Samantha had sent me a text that morning to confirm I was still coming in. Mistakes happen, but not taking the time to confirm you even have the vehicle before setting an appointment and then confirming the day of that I was still coming in for the appointment is in my mind unacceptable. This dealership is one where you are swarmed by sales associates the moment you step out of your car so I would not recommend shopping here.
