A compelling family business that really wants to make a deal where everyone leaves happy. From the first point of contact (the dad) we were made to feel welcome without the full court press of a typical dealership. The son drove up while we were jumping into our test drive vehicle. (We liked the car.) We are currently in the process of working out the numbers, but --whether or not we buy this vehicle -- this place gave us a good feeling.

A tear in the fabric of the driver's seat was not pictured in the ad that enticed my son. To my delight the salesman, whose name was Mike, was kind and ,for us,easy to work with. He moved around some other cars in order to free up space to get our target truck, as it were, out of its cozy little spot on the tightly packed lot. He then handed over the key. After a test drive, the negotiations were quick, smooth and satisfactory. We were not talked down to or pressured. All T's were crossed and all I's were dotted. Nothing felt sketchy. Yes they are used cars and with that, there are no guarantees. That is my review of CPM Motors.

They were kind enough to take it in and find a Trans for it. They felt that even though I paid for the vehicle and less than a week later it had no Trans it was still somehow partially my fault and split the cost 50/50. Ok fine burned me, I'll live problem is everytime I call I get passed around and as their finance guy put it "everyone is passing the buck" it's been over 2 months now 1 month of that was waiting for them to even tell me what they were going to do about the piece o crap lemon they sold me half the second mo the was waiting for them to actually do anything about it an now I'm waiting to find out if they could work with me on a payment plan of some sort seeing as how the job I had required me to have a car so they had to pass my work to someone else and I get minor jobs when I can catch rides. Money is tight and seeing as how they had to have known there were issues with that car and still sold it I would think a reputable company would want to take care of the problem or at least get it taken care of quickly and quietly, instead of producing a review of there shady business of selling used cars with existing major problems. When I walk onto that lot I had my whole family, wife and 3 kids, I explained I needed a reliable car to get to my new job and had a very tight budget. The mistake I made was a looking myself to believe that a salesman was anything more than a thief and a lier. He assured me that this car was used but in good shape, he pushed hard to get it out the door fast and made it seem like he was helping me. But 3000 for a car that only lived in my driveway for 5 days then sat without reverse for a couple days and now resides in their mechanics lot is not a good deal. And the fact they can't even contact me to say anything, I have to chase them down. I can't recommend this as a place to buy a car. Stay far away from this place Craigslist would be a better option, hell the dump would probably provide u a more reliable purchase than I got. At this point I'd much prefer to just have my money back but I can't imagine they would agree to that they can't even tell me if I can make payments, hell they have never ever given me a straight answer on what they want me to pay for the work. Need a car go somewhere else, anywhere else.
