The front desk lady Laura or Laurel has a horrible attitude. She is extremely rude and belittling. She makes going there unpleasant. I don't know why she's allowed to work there when she talks to people like trash. She should not work a customer service job at all. Mark and Robert were helpful. It took a month and some days for my car to be fixed which is a long time. Overall customer would be a 9.5 or even 10/10 but that front desk lady is so rude and makes the whole experience bad. read more

I would highly recommend Auto Art Inc to anyone looking for top-notch service and great results. Definitely a 5-star experience!

Wow! 2x FABULOUS WORK!! Thank you so much to Mark and his wonderful crew for their high standards to make my cars look new again. The first time I was sent to Auto Art, it was for my Tesla that had been rear-ended and recommended by that driver's insurance company for repair. I admit to having had some concern that they could handle a car body made from aluminum. But when I got the car back, it looked as though it had never been hit in the first place! So it was after this stellar experience that I decided to bring in our Lucid after it had been side-swiped in a parking lot and we had to pay out-of-pocket. The car looked like it just came off the showroom floor! I felt very spoiled by Mark, his front desk folks, and really everyone there. Now I know that I wouldn't go anywhere else! ... and by the way, it was an added bonus that they work with Enterprise in Stone Park to get you in a great rental with valet privileges. read more

I've known this place for years, I have taken them several vehicles. my experience was great, I have never had a problem with them, they're very professional 9/10 read more

The work itself is good, in terms of vanity. They made my car look brand new after it was totaled. everything else is questionable. I'm not sure where they keep the cars but rats destroyed EVERYTHING inside of my car. My belongings, chewed spots of leather on my seat. Waiting for an appointment to the dealership to see if any wires were chewed etc... I can only imagine how much this is not their responsibility when I bring it to their attention. They had my car from July to December. More so the insurance fault. My deductible was 1000. I had to pay auto art 1500. No matter what, they said the 500 was "betterment charges" that they were unable to provide an itemized copy of. Car was dead when I picked it up. I asked the woman if she had any idea why my car was dead, she said "probably because it's been sitting since July." I'm not sure why they would have me pick up a car that they just spent 12k repairing, without turning it on or maybe test driving around the block??? They also took my custom license plate holder that was special to me and replaced it with their advertising plates My jacket that I shouldn't have left in this car is also gone. I take responsibility for that. I digress. If you get sent here clean out your car first read more

respectfully.... absolute horrible service !! i came in & i had minor damages !! why did it take 3 weeks close to a month to get the job done !! dont get me wrong job was done right ... however shouldve not took that long !! honestly i wouldnt recommend that place to my enemy read more

They have had my car a month now and been promising week after week finishing date. It's the holiday. Plans to go out of town now I can't. They should eat my deductible. I am a business woman and have suffered a true loss VERY upset. Never again. read more

I went to this place to get a estimate. First of all I waited 45 minutes for the guy to come and inspect my vehicle. Just to tell me it's minor! No shit! I needed a estimate. No matter how little or big the damage is. Second, I'm on day 4 still waiting for a detailed estimate in a email. No email! This place is poorly managed all the way down to the receptionist! Do Not- I repeat Do Not use this auto body. read more

Worst service ever!!! Unprofessional and rude staff! My car was in this shop for 3 month only for bumper, 1 light and 1 wheel change, so guess what!? After 3 moth I finally got my car back and in couple days I got two error on dashboard: 'low tire pressure' and 'headlight problem'. Okkk... I took my car back to service again and those errors pops up again in a few days... it happened 3 times back and forth and I still have this issues. I'm so tired of this. Manager Jack wasn't helpful at all. Hi just told his staff to remove errors, but NOT to fix my car !!!!! After all my complains he still didn't do actual fix, even I have warranty for 90 days !!! I spend 6000$ for small fixes!!! I expected my car in great condition as it used to be, but now I have to take it to another service and pay again, because of this guys. Never ever coming again !!!!! Don't waist your time and money here! read more

I was just in there today and not a single person was wearing a mask. When I asked the girl at the desk why she said the guys work outside so they're not required to and when I asked what about her she said oh I already had covid. What?!?! But listen to this, they have a sign on their door that asks people coming in to comply with the government mandate or whatever. One of the techs wanted to go in my car to check mileage and I asked him to put a mask on if he's going inside my car and he gave me the keys back and said no. I asked why he didn't have a mask he's like well people don't come in here normally because there's a pandemic. Again, what?!?!?!? This is the very first time this whole pandemic I have seen any business not wearing masks. Not a single person who crossed paths with me in the common waiting area had a mask. Unbelievable. read more

THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL JOKE. They broke the mirror on my car interior, and only painted the bumper with out taking it off and replacing it like I paid for. A total unprofessional job, from a total rip off artist. They sure charged my card though. A$$holes! RIP OFF ALERT! read more

The receptionist Lady is VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! she hangs up on customers and gives inaccurate information. Make sure sto not give her any of your information!! I wish I had looked at the reviews prior to having my car taken here. They talk nice to get your car in and after it's in all you here is we're working on it. My crappy insurance company like the other guy said has them as one of their providers they should really rethink this decision I hope this helps someone else. Not fair not fair at all to be dragged on and over like this. read more

Thanks to Jack and his team for getting my car to brand new condition after a front end collision. I will admit they're not the fastest body shop, but they did a really good job. Also, they've replaced a headlight under warranty on 2 separate occasions because of defects beyond their control...... Recently, they installed, at a reasonable price, a bumper I bought elsewhere because the original one installed after my collision, became victim of Chicago's parallel parking (cracked by some ahole). read more

Auto Art - End result - Body Shops Near Me - Franklin Park, Illinois

Worst body shop around they are rude and will call you everyday if thusly need something from you till you bring it to them. They never listen to the customer and don't know what their doing and probably not certified. They will say one thing and switch it around when you ask them about it another time. This body shop is. A hand full to deal with and they like to waste your time to take off work and drive to them to drop stuff off all the time instead of all at once. read more

This the worst place ever the service is bad and they do not do a good job at all they had my car for over a month and didn't not tell us anything about the car they just keep saying ask the insurance company I would not recommend this place at all horrible service!!! read more

I had recently purchased a new vehicle. Two months into owning it, someone hit my parked car and fled the scene. I was incredibly stressed as to how I would pay for the repairs out of pocket. I came to Auto Art and they gave me a great price for the repairs. My car was repaired quickly and looked just as great as when I rolled it out of the dealership. I am beyond grateful for the work done here. The relief they were able to provide me with during a stressful time is something I will never forget! read more

This shop surprised me! With the other reviews I had read it made me Leary to do business but since the crappy insurance Carrier sent me here I had no choice., and boy am I happy to say. I am extremely and happily surprised. The customer service was excellent and the owner was so nice to deal with. They did an excellent job on the repairs that needed done and to my amazement they even cleaned my car inside and out. Thank you. If I'm ever in another accident I will be sure to visit you first. I was introduced to this place by my insurance. Eventually i decided to pay for the repairs myself. Initial impressions: The managements is very knowledgeable and they are very customer oriented. Initially i was very hesitant to trust them because of my previous experiences with mechanics and body shops. However Auto Art guys were very helpful no BS type of guys. (I never dealt with the assistant at the reception desk) Repairs: I had to replace the rear bumper of my car. The new bumper fits just like the old one and the paint matched the rest of my car to perfection. You cant tell the bumper was replaced and i am very happy with the repair. There was one delay due to something not fitting correctly but they took care of it before i picked up my car. I wouldn't even know about it if they hadn't told me. Post Impressions: When i picked up my car i noticed there was some "Over Spray" all over my car which was strange since i just had a bumper replaced and no repairs done on the rest of my car. However after speaking to Tom (I might be spelling his name wrong) they took care of it and didn't charge or give me hard time for that. I was very pleased with their customer service. Overall Impressions: I had a good customer service and the repairs are good enough that you cant tell which part of my car was from the manufacturer and which part was replaced. The younger technicians there can be easily flustered but talk to management and they will treat you fairly with no BS. read more

Horrible service! They had my car for over a month when the damages were minor. The office staff is extremely rude, no personable at all, just seem bothered that you're there at all. I usually don't come to Yelp to review, but this was ridiculous. My phone charger and air fresheners were missing as well, and again the front desk woman had a major attitude for the inconvenient question. You think they'd treat you as if you just spent thousands of dollars...go anywhere else do not waste time or money read more

I was referred here by my insurance in September, once the insurance mailed them the check the whole process was a 3 month nightmare having to deal with their RUDE unprofessional receptionist. When I finally took my car in they said it would be ready in 4-5 days, 3 days later the owner calls me to tell me it needed additional things and it would take another 3 weeks! A week later they call me to tell me it's ready to be picked up. ??? " and don't forget to bring your deductible cash" And nothing additional was done from first estimate. The 3 stars are for the actual work as it looks ok and have 90 days to take it back if something changes but I really wanted to give the whole experience and their receptionist 1 star. read more

I called on august 8th. They said i couldnt even bring my car in until sept 18th. My car accident happened july 20th. While they did a great job fixing up my car, their customer service sucks all the way around. 1. When I picked up my car a couple things were missing in my car including chargers, my snow brush, my boyfriends hat, etc that I'm pretty sure were stolen as they were nowhere to be found in my car where they last were. 2. The receptionist is clueless. She told me my car would be ready for pick up on a "next friday" I called to make sure and verify that it would be ready 3 times and she said yes. That Thursday rolls around and I had my boyfriend call for me to verify that it'll be ready for pick up the following day and she says "no next Friday is the pick up day." He said no that we were told that last week it'll be ready by this Friday. She said "hold on" and my boyfriend waited on the line for 10 minutes before talking to some European dude. He said there were delays. So my boyfriend had to call a day before said schedule pick up day to find out himself there were delays. NO ONE called to tell us after repeatedly telling the receptionist to call us DIRECTLY if anything changes if there were delays etc. nothing. We were lucky we called a day before otherwise I would've left work early to pick up a car that wasn't ready yet. They don't care about their customers and how we have jobs that we have to work around for our cars. I harassed them afterwards calling every day until the next scheduled pick up date to make sure it was ready the day we were supposed to pick up. Sure enough I finally got my car. 3. CASH ONLY FOR A REPAIR SHOP!???!!!! I've honestly never heard of that in my entire life and because it was all cash that was another stressor added to this already stressful time. Luckily it was less than a grand but if it was I wouldn't know how to pay for that at all. Do not go here. They will toss you around, not update you on anything, and your pockets will be empty. read more

Terribly disappointed! One of the worst businesses I have encountered. First of all, my car was in the shop for a month. It took them a month to fix my vehicle. And secondly, their staff have horrible costumer service, specifically their manager Jack. He was so unprofessional, I would not recommend this shop to anyone. They don't care about providing quality work and building a client base. All they care about is getting paid. read more

Great place, they repaired my car quickly and when I picked up my car it looked spotless. Zero Stars If I could...For goodness sake DON'T take your car here for anything.. Not only are they very unprofessional with the job getting it well done it took almost 3 months to get my quote for my insurance just to end up totalling it. Called multiple times and the secretary was totally rude everytime I called and clueless to my questions. After being told my car was getting totalled I went to pick up my belongings and mostly everything was stolen JUST F* RIDICULOUS!!!! Bad Service, Dishonest /Thieves. I left my car for some painting damage, they had said it would be ready Thursday which they it was not, not a call to let me know. Friday when I pick my truck up, I noticed the my lotto tickets were gone out my compartor, really these people had the time to go thru my papers and take them??? when I notice it I right away went back and talk to the office manager, but she seem careless . also on Saturday I notice that they didn't paint a part on my truck, I waited till today, monday to call and speak to Mark the owner but the office manager wouldn't transfer my call. how unprofessional they are, why would any one would go thru your personal papers and take stuff? if anyone is dropping their car here MAKE SURE YOU TAKE EVERTHING OUT!! on top of these , these office manager tells me their not going t paint what they miss.. Zero starts if it was possible here. I hardly ever post anything but this is just unacceptable. My car has been in the shop for two months now. Every time I call, they tell me my car will be ready next week, then the next and the next, etc.... I would advise everyone not to go here!! Other shops I've been to have the car ready in a week or two! And are twice as busy than this place. read more

Not sure about the other review... Martha is just the receptionist so I never really had to deal with her. However, Mark great guy... my car has been to this shop several times throughout many years and never had a problem. Trust worthy knows the business and will not bs you around, does not try to dig deeper in your pockets for unnecessary repairs. For a body shop this is the place to go, I have referred several individuals to Auto Art and while 1 thought they were someone on the high side for prices the rest were satisfied. Mark is very accommodating, if you have reached this body shop look no further! The work he does is by far great! :) read more

Beware of that place!!!! I got in a very bad car accident in which my car was destroyed. I took my car to Auto Art to get it fixed and I honestly couldn't be more happy with the results I saw. This is a repair shop as well as a Hertz Car rental location. Its very small. Does not hold many cars. Martha the receptionist was highly insistent on me taking their insurance. I told her I bought other insurance. When I returned the car in perfect condition, she went outside on her own and there suddenly was a new scratch that magically appeared. It looked fresh. To add to that she didn't want to deal with my insurance she just charged my credit card some random price immediately.?! My insurance said that that is not how it works, Auto Arts should have dealt with them directly. Martha the receptionist then said, I told you to take my insurance..... Fraud Alert. Be careful. read more

I was introduced to this shop also by my insurance. It was really close to home and found it was convenient. They took my car in earlier than my appointment date as they had an opening and I was eager to get my car fixed. We followed up the following week and it was close to being done but took a little longer than expected. A week and a half later they advised my car was ready and when we went to see the car, there were a few things that were not 100% perfect and we asked them to correct it. Even after hearing our complaints, the manager stood by his word and said he would take it back in to fix these issues. Couple days later the car was ready again, and it was PERFECT. It looked brand new and we left very pleased. I applaud this shop for correcting an issue that we had and not just returning a car to get it out quickly. This is what customer service is all about! Great job turning this around! read more

This place is a freaking joke. Very unprofessional and they had my car for about a month and a half just to fix the front of my car...
