Audi claimed I needed them in the front and the back. I reached out to five other different places and the lowest quote that I received was $1800. Buddhist garage requested that I bring my vehicle in, in order for them to give me an accurate quote . This was a bit of an inconvenience because I live on the opposite side of town and my work schedule is extremely hectic, but it was worth it. They were able to actually physically look at my vehicle and see what was needed in order to give me a more accurate quote. Turns out my rear brakes are completely fine! It was my sensor that was off, which was $35 to replace. And they only charged me 780.$ for all the work. As a female it is extremely difficult to go into shops and not get screwed over and take advantage of. My sister has been taking her vehicle here for years. I took one of my vehicles here years ago and I will continue to use this garage for all of my automotive repairs. I highly recommend it. They are completely honest, and despite the fact that I was late this morning(I don't recommend that it but it was unavoidable), they understood and still got me out in a timely manner. Once I was moving, I only made it down the street before all power failed in my car and I had to coast to a stop. It is to my great luck and joy that I coasted to a stop in the parking lot of Oak Knoll Automotive. When I walked in, I was greeted by Bobby, who spoke to me like I was his friend and communicated clearly what he thought the issue might be, how long it would take and approximate cost. There were techs buzzing around the bays hard at work, so instead of making me wait forever, Bobby went out and took a look at my car himself and got it into the garage out of the 100+ heat. I ended up spending a couple hours in the waiting room (which was thoughtfully decorated and had plenty to read or watch) before Bobby told me they needed to keep the car overnight. This morning, I got a call from Bobby first thing where he told me the plan for the day and when I should expect to hear back from him. Like clockwork, he called me back to let me know my car was ready and gave me a price breakdown of the repair work done. All-in-all, this place was wildly helpful, communicated clearly about the work done, and priced fairly. They take a look at my brakes and they report $1200 to fix the brakes. I wanted to double check with my dad because that seemed really unreasonable and he agreed so I went to brakes plus literally known for their brakes to get a second opinion they took me back in to the mechanic area and literally showed me my brake pads they were brand new. They were not down to 2 inches like DR auto claimed and could compare it to a brand new brake pad. They gave me in for reference this place lies and then they reach out to you via text and harass you there for leading a bad review because they lie, I have never experienced such bad service in my life. This is a horrible company and they take no accountability. They were literally just trying to get money out of me and it's so embarrassing better Do not take your business here they will lie to you just to get money.
