They towed my car from my friends apartment complex, I wasn't even parked 15 minutes in the spot dropping off a birthday gift. They wouldn't explain why it was towed or why they'd charge me $200 for it sitting in the lot for the 1 hour it took me to get there same day. Will be checking for damages as the other reviewers mentioned and filing a claim. Very shady, super petty, tiny bullet proof service window and hidden from the main road. They're just crooks! RUDE. They are very sketchy and tow from private lots without being authorized by the owner before 2 am which is against the law in Montgomery county. They charged me a storage fee and my vehicle hadn't even been in their lot more than 8 hours. I was towed from Silver Spring border line DC at 11:59 pm and they somehow got to their lot located in Rockville with my vehicle at 12:03 am, which is IMPOSSIBLE. Like I said SKETCHY! I hate this place. First of they towed my car because i forgot to put my pass up BUT they see my car every night so they know i always have a pass. Then they had my car for 3 days i get my car and the paint on the front of my car is gone! I called mc consumer protection and they told me there is no evidence that they did it. Then i been asking the manager for 2 days now to send me the photos of my car before they towed it. Lets see how long this whole process takes. Might have to get a lawyer involved. Worst possibly people to have tow your car. Who ever that little creature is ( Brooke Chambers daughter I suppose) is the rudest thing I've ever met. I refuse to acknowledge her as a human being. They also don't like to tell you what you needed to bring with you to have your car released to you. I clearly have a picture of a letter from the MVA that has the VIN the car my tag and title and not only that I can literally call my auto finance people and clearly have the keys to my car. But this thing decided she wanted to play games that day and I understand why they won't people in there with her because you'd wanna reach over and slap her senselessly. Like, I don't know who raised her, but they did an appalling job. They wouldn't even at least let me get my belongings in my car and I'm just like isn't that a federal crime. This towing company and the people working there are absolutely ruthless and unscrupulous scumbags. This company towed my car from the parking lot of my apartment complex where I have lived for the past two and a half years. They towed my car simply because my car had an old parking sticker instead of the new one that's been recently issued (I don't even know why there was a need to change to a new parking sticker). When I was paying to retrieve my car, I told the woman in their pitiful trailer office that I will try to obtain the new sticker in the next few days and to not tow my car again while I'm in the process of getting the new sticker. There's no reasoning with this bitch; she still threatened to tow my car again if I use the parking lot of my OWN apartment complex. I even pointed out that it was a Sunday and that the management office of the apartment is currently closed; thus, I will not be able to obtain the new sticker until Monday the earliest. Furthermore, I told her that there are no street parking available that can be used as an alternative. She remained unmoved and insisted that I use offsite parking. (There is none) That night, as I had no other choice, I parked at the parking lot of my apartment complex, which, as a paying tenant, I had every right to use. I did left a note on my car explaining that I still have the old sticker, but I'm in the process of getting the new one. I was hoping that the tow truck driver who will see the note will be more reasonable than the bitch in their office. I was wrong. The next morning, my car was towed again!!!! The fact that the old parking permit is affixed on my windshield is not proof enough that I'm a legitimate tenant there??? Suddenly this towing company doesn't recognize their own parking sticker just because it's an older version?? Is it so unreasonable to ask not to tow my car again in the next few days (even just that night) while I get the new sticker??? This towing company is the worst by far!!! The lady at the window is extremely rude i've had all of my 3 vehicles towed from where i live. One day i accidentally left my windows opened and i had my handicap sticker on there and mysteriously it fell also my car was damaged made a report to brooke via email according to her she never received it. Brooke is also very rude. I went to my rental office my property manager also emailed her and teddy never received a reply and it's been a year. Today my property manager emailed her again still nothing. Went online to the department of assessment and taxation in MD could not find any business with this name and the ones that appeared are both forfeited businesses. The second time i went i actually saw brooke she was very rude when i asked to give me her bosses info or where i can make a complaint she just went to the back and never came out. I hope that the complaints im about to make with the state of MD take some action. This tow company is pretty much robbing people out of their hard earned money. I hope they shut them down. Mind you i have been living at this property since 2007 and bozzuto was the property management then last year another company took over and decided they needed a towing company but in 10 yrs it wasn't needed or necessary. So you can understand how pissed off i am. I have already spent $900 with these people. And they are never wrong. Now what i do is take pictures of my car when i get home and park it. i d k. These people totally scammed me. I have a new car and it is a ritual how I park in my reserved space, back in, out, in, out until perfectly centered. Narrow space. Get out, walk around front to make sure centered. Use wide clearly marked handicap space to left as a guide. Always. Very aware. However, I went out to my car and it was missing. These people said I was parked in the handicapped spot. BS. I saw their photos and those were wrong in every aspect. They definitely moved my car into the illegal handicap spot, took a photo, and towed it. Their pic has my parked crooked and off centered, very close to the car in the next spot, and the painted handicap symbol jutting out from the front of my car. Never ever would have parked that way. A total insult to my intelligence. All wrong. Like I said, and I very clearly remember that evening, got out, walked around the front of the car to make perfectly centered. No obvious handicap symbol jutting out of the front. I will take responsibility if I did something wrong but absolutely not here. Absolutely fake and scammed. I vehemently stand up for my words here. Whether an independent employee trying to fill quota, not sure. But I definitely have been scammed in one way or another and doubt if someone joy rode my car and parked that way. Authorized towing towed my car from the Verizon Lot in Bethesda. I parked on the opposite side by accident. It was very easy to get my car back! The person who towed my car was extremely polite and said that it was a common mistake. After reading the two other reviews, I think those people are full of nonsense. As stated already, this is a classless, dishonest and unprofessional company. WE received permission to park our car in a lot from a store security guard so we could run in a store next door to tell our son we were there to get him. Literally two minutes later they had our car on a truck and wouldn't drop unless we paid $50 despite being given permission from the store. I'm very disappointed with this company, they towed my parents car because it was parked in a handicap spot in the apartment complex they live in (Woods edge apartments in Rockville, MD ). My parents do have a permit that hangs in the mirror but they forgot to install it that day. They park every day in the same spot, so I know they've seen their vehicle with the permit install plus they saw a wheel chair in the back of the car, I know this because the manager from the apartment show me pictures that the towing company took before they took it away. The week this happened we had 90+ degree weather My mother is 86 years old and my father 94 and suffering from dementia and Alzheimer, and as we know weather this hot can be dangerous for elderly people; but of course, this company did not care for handicap people. My parents had to walked from their building to the management building without my father wheel chair to ask what happened to their car. We did not care about the charge; what it's disappointing is that are companies like Authorized towing that don't care about the well been of other people, it seems the only care about taking money from others. read more

ZERO STARS!!! Authorized Towing towed my car from the Montgomery Club Apartments in Gaithersburg even though I was parked in the designated visitor parking area with a visitor pass clearly displayed on my rear view mirro. The problem is, the apartment complex encourages this type of fraudulent activity. I'm sure it's all a huge revenue generator. At first they tried to say that I was parked in the visitor parking area longer than the designated 3 day limit. Once I could prove that my car was in PA the first day they accused me of being there, they said that I was in fact not parked in the designated visitor parking area. When I called Authorized Towing to inquire about my vehicle, the female who answered the phone hung up on me multiple times. My bf lives in Montgomery Club Apartments and has had ongoing issues with this company. When his guests arrive, they are often nearly towed prior to him being able to walk out to the parking lot with the visitor pass. Word of advice, always stay in your vehicle! I plan to pursue legal action against Authorized Towing. They were very careless with my vehicle. I'm definitely making a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau and Montgomery County!!! read more
