After several calls and failing to find a tow truck service, I landed on EC Towing, and bam, my problem was resolved. TONY sent me a truck and driver instantly. Edwin arrived right on time, very polite and professional, with a unique perfect-sized truck that has special gadgets and light bulbs. To summarize what ensued, my locked car had no key, my apartment complex garage entrance door is unusually short, the driveways are small, twisted, and winding, and the spaces are tiny. Nonetheless, with patience and distinct proficiency, the super-skilled driver Edwin managed to navigate his truck to ultimately land my car in the right spot. After five hours of waiting on AAA I called EC Towing & Recovery based on the online Yelp reviews. We were very frustrated and he calmed us down right away. He was able to pick up the unattended vehicle asap and deliver it to the tire garage which was closed. They communicated well and got the keys delivered so the car was safe overnight. Last evening, my car broke down on the GW Parkway in Maryland. My insurance, USAA, arranged for EC Towing to respond. During the "Bomb Cyclone" weather event, I found my car's battery died. I checked Yelp's reviews of EC Towing in the DC area and, boy am I glad I called them. Eric picked up immediately and Milton called me and showed up on time. Milton patiently and professionally tried a couple of times to jump start. His persistence did not pay off so he ingeniously loaded the car - which was paralleled parked and surrounded by cars. Remind you the bitter whipping arctic winds! Over the years I've had my share of experiences with tow companies, both good and bad, I didn't know what to expect from these guys but I must say they really exceeded my expectations! I experienced car problems on a very cold night and AAA gave me a 2 hour ETA, I needed to get home to my other car so I could continue with my important plans that night but couldn't leave my car in the store parking lot for long. I googled a nearby tow company and these guys popped up. Eric arrived within 30-45 mins and not only did he get us home in a short period of time but he also was able to quickly diagnose my cars problem and explained to me how to fix it myself.
