The winery with a breathtaking view. May I add the structure itself is a beautiful piece of architecture. If this was my house, I wouldn't be mad. The tasting room itself was pretty cozy. It was raining and wet outside, inside had the fireplace going. We came early so there were not a lot of people. Just another large party with kids. We enjoyed our wine tasting. The large party left and it was only us. We got a charcuterie board as well. The outdoor space is great, if only it was a nice sunny day. We loved their Russian River Valley Pinot. The staff were also super friendly. She gave us a tasting of a wine that was not on the tasting menu, the labyrinth and we enjoyed it so bought some bottles. Ended up getting 8 bottles total... Would love to come back in the summer when it's nice to sit outside.

Fantastic winery! While staying in Forestville with my sister and her boyfriend, they recommended I stop by Auteur for a glass of wine and a view of the Russian River valley. Excellent choice, Mary Francis was very friendly and suggested a delightful Chardonnay. The building is exquisite and the view is magnificent. A must visit while in Sonoma.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Russian River while sipping exceptional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Auteur! We visited while Laura was running the tasting room solo and she made our experience one to remember with her laid back and down to earth personality. The bread and butter is a MUST!

Good pairing with food and wine. Service was impeccable, the views were stunning and the ambiance was inviting with clean, modern architecture and sound design that made it feel even more inviting to experience and enjoy!!

We recently visited Auteur Russian River for the first time and and all I can say is "wow"! We were blown away by our experience here and absolutely loved everything about it! This hidden gem is tucked away in the Russian River Valley. We did the Appellation Series Tasting, although you have the option of doing a Single Vineyard tasting as well for a little more. You really can't go wrong with either option because the wine is amazing! I personally love Pinot Noir, although if you are a Chardonnay lover, they have incredible Chardonnay as well. It's a newly built estate and built on a hilltop overlooking the valley and hillside with stunning vineyard views. This place has panoramic views that are absolutely breathtaking! Whoever built and designed this location did an exceptional job! Even though this winery had other people tasting while we were tasting, it felt like a very private and intimate tasting and experience. I think this is partly because they have both indoor and outdoor tasting areas. Regardless of where your tasting is, there is no shortage of views due to how this estate was built with floor to ceiling glass so there is no shortage of incredible views! Max was our host and he was very knowledgeable, informative, welcoming, genuine, and down to earth. Everyone that worked here provided service that was top notch! We purchased a few bottles of our favorites to enjoy at a later date. We can't recommend visiting this place enough! You will be blown away by the wine, views, experience, and top notch service!

This was our first stop and it was an amazing winery- only open for reservations only (no walk-ins). We arrived a few minutes before our tasting and were warmly greeted by the host staff and shown to our table, overlooking the beautiful Russian River hillside area. The views from the winery are absolutely outstanding. We learned from our host that the owners of the Gary Farrell Winery don't own any of the vineyards, they only procure the grapes and they're the wine maker. The wines were all drastically different and some of the best Chardonnay's we have had on any of our tastings we have done in Napa. The host was so knowledgable and very warm and friendly. We went away with a new found appreciation of their winery and purchased a bottle of wine to take home with us for a Christmas gift. Gary Farrell is truly an amazing winery and I highly recommend trying it if you're in the area! We look forward to returning!

My favorite part is that you can grab a glass and walk around the museum and see all of the local artwork along the walls and throughout the building. I definitely recommend!

I was so moved to learn that it's owned by Jim Obergefell, the plaintiff in the landmark Supreme Court marriage equality case. I also love that proceeds from the wines go to support causes that uplift women, the LGBTQ+ community, and other social justice initiatives. It felt so good to know that each sip was also supporting meaningful change. Each wine has a unique name like the "19th Amendment" which is so cool. The space was filled with LGBTQ+ artwork and it is even connected to a gallery down the hall. So you can grab your glass of wine and check out art Nextdoor. Lastly, the service was amazing. This place definitely has a mom and pop vibe and they make you feel super welcomed. We will definitely be back!

The tasting menu consisted of two whites, 2 Pinot noirs and a port red , but a rosé and extra Pinot noir were also thrown in so it was good tasting array with generous pours. I loved the little Chardonnay experiment where she gave me two different glasses to see the difference in the same Chardonnay pour . The drive up is scenic, but the outdoor patio seating is basically in the parking lot, the indoor tasting room is cute but quaint as well They take reservations on their website, but I walked in without a problem Glad we stopped by ! We stopped in without a reservation for a tasting right as they were opening and were warmly greeted by Stacey who led our tasting. We tasted through the menu of 5 wines and even got some additional off menu pours, one of which we ended up bringing home with us. Stacey was full of knowledge about the wines, vines, and history of the vineyard. The tasting was made extra interesting/fun by the comparison of some of the wines in different glasses, at different aeration levels, and even one with chocolate. The tasting room had a very bright, light, and unpretentious feel to it. After going through the tasting we ended up leaving with 3 bottles of wine, one white and two reds, one of which was a pinot noir which is what they're known for. Highly recommend tasting here and would absolutely plan to come back next time I find myself in Guerneville!

The drive was pleasant and beautiful, and it was a good day to be out. As we approached Le Crema, we were romanced by the surrounding countryside. As we got inside, we walked up to the tasting room and then took our wine and went outside and enjoyed the view and the tasting. It was so wonderful. I wound up buying a couple bottles to take home with me and so did my daughter. A pallet is a very strange thing to explain to people because my taste and what I think about that wines flavors and nuances it really varies from person to person. But I was so impressed with this lovely product. If I wasn't there, wouldn't be those two bottles in my car. We were each giving a glass of the Pinot Noir Rose which was absolutely refreshing and delicious this was actually my favorite wine. We had wine tasting of both Red and White wines. I am more of a Pinot Noir drinker than Chardonnay. Every tasting we had was really good, but no of them topped that fantastic Rose. After out tasting we had a really nice picnic outside and enjoyed each others company. I would definitely come back without a doubt.
