I can't say enough good about the serviceman that helped me fix Moms old clock. Having it chime on my wall now is a fond reminder of my youth and moms love for the clock that is now mine. Honest and fair price for what was done! I pray the business makes it through the odd times we are now in with Covid.

New watch needs links removed to fit

I needed to get some links removed from my new Invicta and a friend had suggested using OldTimer because they had done such an amazing job restoring her father's 70's Casio watch. I did not have an appointment and just walked in and the repair guy knew without asking what I was there for. He told me he could take the links out and the price and told me it would be just a few minutes. He did a great job and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Located on 35th street between Jefferson and Jackson on the South side of the street I would strongly suggest approaching the store going East on 35th. It's easier to turn right into the parking spaces than left. (That's more of a tip) They also have many old, I'm guessing restored, wall clocks and grandfather clocks. Really like this place and it is going to be my new "go-to" for watch repair and maintenance.

Vintage watch

This place is awesome. I went in looking for an older 60s, 70s watch face and was given lots of different choices and knowledge about how watches work. I was treated with kindness and patience, the whole experience was great. Now I have a cool vintage watch!

Great service for an antique pocket watch that belonged to my great uncle who worked on the railroad.

They were able to install a small hand and adjust the crown while I waited. I was thrilled to get the watch working 100%!

Pay attention to things. You shouldn't have to anticipate and ask questions to avoid poor outcomes. This place knows their stuff. They tell you exactly your best outcome and even said, 'if new battery installed and it doesn't work, NO CHARGE.' Everything promised, delivered. Rare. Exceptional. Highly recommend. In from out of town and looked at several places before making this good choice (and yes, AI recommended then manually verified.) Also, while there, overheard another customer being told that if they wanted to sell a watch that they would probably get a better deal at another place. This is honesty. This is integrity. Then I called ATX Watches, and they suggested an oven dry process. When that didn't help, they did a free inspection, rough cleaning, and battery reseating. When that didn't help either, finally they gave me the option of a paid repair, while telling me that I might consider a replacement for the same cost. Since it had sentimental value, I went with the repair, and it has been working perfectly since. I really appreciate they really tried to help me out before performing any paid service.. It earned my trust.

When I asked why my Seiko stopped working, he said, "I don't know." I asked, "Aren't you a watch repair shop?". Ray said, "It needs to be serviced." I asked, "How much does it cost to be serviced?" Ray said, "I don't know. My watch repair guy isn't here today." I'm not sure why the store is called "Ray's Watch Repair" when Ray doesn't know how to repair watches.
