Austin's Most Wanted - Hard part from JOEY - Barbers Near Me - Austin, Texas

RUSHED AND LIED TO!!!!! I booked my appointment for 3pm. I get a text from Mark Anthony asking if I could come in earlier. I say yes and make my way towards the barber shop. Soon after getting on the road, I get a text asking how close I was. I send the mileage from what my phone said and then get another text asking how long will that take. I give the info and ask if he had an appointment at 3pm. He said he need to leave at 3pm because something had came up. That's why he asked if I could come earlier. I get to the shop, explained what I wanted and moved forward with the cut. Without going into all the details, I had to ask twice to get some areas fixed. I felt like he was rushing through my cut. There was more that needed to be corrected but assuming that the rush was because he needed to go, I didn't feel like explaining what was wrong with the cut. The service was ended and I tipped and left out. The cut overall was not that bad, so I went back inside to get a business card. That's when I see he has another person in the chair doing another cut. This the "RUSHED AND LIED TO" title. I will not return based off of principles. Now I'm stuck with this unfinished haircut. HONESTY WOULD HAVE HELPED THE SITUATION SINCE I DID HAVE THE DAY OFF!!!!!! read more

I found this place on Yelp for a friend that came to visit from out of town. The great reviews and close proximity to the airport was honestly why I decided to recommend this place. I was able to make an appointment with Jacob, and he gave him one of the best haircuts AND beard trims he's ever had. He really knew what he was doing with the beard, and was not the least hesitant to bring the clippers to it. If you've ever passed by and thought about trying this place out, YOU SHOULD!! You'll keep coming back for the best haircut you've ever had. read more

Waited 25mins and never got a haircut! It's all good maybe next time someone will be available read more

First time I ever went in a barber shop and they said "I'm in a rush" my barber was too busy in a rush trynna cut some little kids hair for some girl he was trying to talk to... so unprofessional im never the type to not pay good so it was more frustrating to me coming here for my first time and dude wouldnt even even my hair on the top of finish the fade on the side.. since he felt done and was in a rush to cut someone else's hair... wouldn't recommend... barber I had worked at great clips before still had to let him know how to do MY OWN edge up the right way since he was confused on just cleaning up my hairline... all in all I basically paid for a shitty fade and basically left with a mop on the top of my head read more

I have been getting my haircut here since I moved to Austin in July of 2018. I would highly recommend scheduling your hair cut with Joey!! He has always paid close attention to detail and I have not once left the shop feeling as though I have received a bad haircut- I am always happy and satisfied! Plus he's become a good friend. read more

The spot. I've been coming here for a couple months. All the barbers are straight but I go to Jacob. It's best to make an appointment because it's always packed. Best cut in Austin by far read more

Moved to Austin from Boston recently and it took me some time to find a barbershop I felt comfortable with. After some research I found most wanted, I'm glad that I found it! Mark Anthony did an amazing job and I will be going back. read more

I'm originally from Houston and just recently moved to Austin. I had no clue where to go for a haircut. I called ahead, set up an appointment with Joey for later in the day and got in the chair a little after I arrived. Probably one of the best haircuts I've gotten in awhile. Thought it would be hard to find a barber in South Austin but Austin's Most Wanted proved me wrong. I set up an appointment with them about every week or so now. read more

So the barber, Vinnie, contacted me after seeing my post about him here on yelp. He sent me and 3 paragraph text talking trash how he was mad at what I had posted. I simply stated the facts but didn't want to banter with him. Lol I thought it was kind of funny that he reached out to not to make good but instead attempt to insult me. I informed him I would be updating my review here on yelp and he quickly replied with an immature "GOOD!". Then I simply blocked his number. Not only does this barber have a issue with customer service, he will also text harassing messages late Friday night after you've made a comment on his lack there of. Thanks Again Vinnie, you have re-affirmed I will not be coming back. No class. read more

Been coming here for a while now, since Albert joined the team. The shop always has a great feel to it, and Albert has always been super flexible in working with my schedule. It also helps that I've never gotten a haircut from him that I didn't like, and I'm about as picky a customer as can be. Bottomline, this is one of the best, if not the best barbershops in Austin, and you won't regret setting up an appointment here. read more

Phenomenally talented Lench Martinez is now our fav barber! Amazing!

First time in a long time since I had a hair cut, and this place was legit. Jacob cut my hair and it was done absolutely awesome. Definitely going back, not to mention the chill environment and laid back feel. Good people, great hair cut. read more

Started bring son here, he is really picky about his haircut not to mention has a sensitive head. The guy that cuts his hair is Jay, does a really great job, a perfectionist which we like. Pays attention to detail. And gentle on my sons head. This is why we keep coming back. read more

I live close to this barber shop and gave it a shot yesterday. Albert Vasquez gave one of the most focused, detailed, professional haircuts I've had in the last 5 years and will definitely be going back! read more

This was our first time here. My son had an appointment with Joey. Since this was our first time there we arrived early. These guys definitely have a loyal clientele. Joey was on time for our appointment. That goes a long way for me. I showed him a picture of how my son likes his hair and he cut it perfect! He even did a couple extras that I wasn't expecting. My son was out of the chair in record time (comparing to other places we have gone to). I give Joey 5 stars! I give the establishment 5 stars as well. It was clean, polite barbers, quick service by all. Appointments are highly recommended. Take the extra minute to call and confirm your appointment the day before. My son was very pleased with Joey and I'm pleased with his handsome haircut! We will definitely schedule again when we are in Austin. read more

Barbers that are truly skilled in their craft! If you're looking for a pristine haircut this is the place to visit. I've left the chair 100% satisfied every time. Vinnie is usually my barber and I'd recommended him to anyone. read more

The place was great, music was awesome, the barbers seemed to be skilled, but I wouldn't know due to the long wait time. I walked in and was happy to seen one guy that was there in front of me. I was waiting enjoying the Latin free style for a bit then more people started coming in. The guy in front of me got called and i was patiently waiting. Another barber was done and immediately a guy just walked in and took the spot. It's seems like homies first costumers second. I don't know how everything works there, maybe I needed an appointment, or needed to sign in. So I just said screw it and left. I was waiting about 45mins,but I'll give it another try some time. Until then my review stays the same. read more
