Artichoke
Amy F.

Had the artichoke with a side of fries. The artichoke was cooked perfectly, though I could have done without the parmesan cheese since it was mainly on the inedible parts. The side of fries was enormous and absolutely delicious--even tasted great as cold leftovers the next day! The patio is dog-friendly, and the service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a nice spot for a meal.

Ahi Tuna Sandwich

I came here for lunch with a big group and they were very accommodating and helped set up two tables for us. We were seated on the outside patio and the staff were all friendly. I decided to order the Ahi Tuna Sandwich, which was a tasty sandwich with seared ahi tuna. The order comes with fries and the portions were great! The food also came out in a timely manner, some dishes took longer than others, but that is to be expected. Overall, Austin's is a great casual dining option for lunch in Incline Village and we enjoyed our meal!

California burger - I subbed the bun for the lettuce. HUGE portion!

This was one of the restaurants our airbnb hosts recommended to check out during our stay in Tahoe and it did not disappoint! There's plenty of parking around and it's a quaint little restaurant right off the Main Street. We wanted something that was family friendly and this fit the bill! They have high chairs and a kids menu with crayons to draw for the kiddos. We ordered them the grilled cheese and the Mac and cheese as there weren't too many options. There isn't much of a variety for the kids. I took out 1 star because I asked for veggies on the side instead of French fries or mashed potatoes and they didn't have any. So the only sides they have are French fries or mashed potatoes... which the kids love because it's CARBS (who wouldn't?!) but man it would be great to include some veggies like steamed broccoli for the kids!! We ordered the artichoke appetizer and burgers for us and gave them some veggies from our plates. The burgers were decent, nothing out of the ordinary. They are VERY generous with their fries!! Service was a bit slow but very understandable as they seemed to be understaffed. I did appreciate our server coming to check in on us if we needed anything! The poor guy felt bad about our food taking longer and he was sweet and even gave our kids an extra juice. Really nice service!!! One thing to note is that this place is on the small side, especially if you're a group of 5 like us. I actually called in advance to reserve and we got lucky with one table perfect for our family. So I'd recommend calling in advance! All in all, this is a nice place to stop for lunch if you're in the area and it is a good kid friendly place! The portions are big but they don't have as much "healthier" options if you know what I mean.

Mac and cheese are clearly from the box.

Everything burnt and dry and from a box (see pictures we took home). Wouldn't even try this place again. Servers were friendly though!

My family and I had the pleasure of visiting from the Bay Area. We stumbled upon Austin close to our hotel. The food impressed us with its freshness and lovely presentation. Every dish we tried was absolutely delightful. If only this place were in my hometown, I would be a regular visitor.

Food is awesome and Chris the bartender (from Iowa, love my fellow midwest folk) is an amazing individual! I can't wait to be back in the area to come back here!

The food was ok but my burger didn't have any flavor. The bread literally fell off with my first bite. Very over priced

Give Paxton's a shot. Tasty, creative meals well worth trying. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Will definitely go back.

Checking on outside lunch service this Thursday? We will be there at noon.

Yes we have outside seating

Do they have heaters outside in the winter?

We do not. Nice and cozy inside. We do proved a fire pit but never have enough people to keep it lit regularly. If you let me know when you are here we could light it. You can always message me at nelliesaia@gmail.com

After finally arriving to Lake Tahoe we wanted to look for Food and so because we saw this place as a recommendation, we decided to stop in and see if the recommendation was a good or bad one. As we pulled in we could tell that this was going to be a great spot to eat at because it was busy and there were lots of people in line waiting to order food. After getting to the register I ordered the Breakfast Burrito and my wife ordered the Egg Muffin. The thing is that when you order the food, they ask you what Protein you want to put into it and so you have a choice of a couple of different items because the Breakfast item that you order wont come included with it. So I chose Ham and so did my wife for her Egg Muffin. So we both ordered Coffee to drink at the register and they handed us the cups. Went to the Coffee station and after getting there you have the option of either choosing Half & Half with Sugar or you could just take Simple Syrup and put that into your Coffee instead. After sitting down at our table, let me tell you that the place was decorated very beautiful inside but we decided to find a table closer to the outside since was already starting to be a beautiful day. After about 5 minutes the waitress came to the table with our food and to my amazement I stated "Wow, that was quick!" The Waitress said "Yeah, our Cooks are Turning and Burning the food today" Which at my delight the bite into my Breakfast burrito was great. We also ordered a side of Potatoes and while I'm not a big fan of Green Peppers, the Potatoes were soft and very delicious as well. I poured Ketchup on them to finish the topping and let me tell you they were fresh and very good as well. I took a sip of my Coffee and while it wasnt Hot, but it was warm I told the waitress about it and she brought over a cup of Hot Coffee. I then put Half & Half into it with the Simple Syrup again and AGAIN, the Coffee was wonderful. Overall this place simply deserves a 5 but I wish I had the opportunity to give it more. Thank you Tunnel Creek for such a wonderful experience. You're Food, Staff and Beauty inside the restaurant were wonderful for 2 people who decided to just come to Lake Tahoe for a random adventure today.

We were greeted when we came in service was really good. As I was ordering the Ponderosa plate trying to decide which protein they recommended the bacon jam and it was amazing. There are other options on the menu, but I highly recommend that one a little salty a little sweet so good. My husband got the big bleu burger and it was cooked. Perfect just enough bleu cheese to enhance the flavor and this fig-dijonnause sauce was great. We will be back The place is quaint not too big not too even has outdoor seating

A few additional thoughts... - The crafted cocktails are very interesting, but on the small side. - Our server recommended that we think about needing to order two dishes per person, but we found that 6 dishes for the 4 of us were plenty. - The food, once again, was very tasty. Our favorites this time were the Ricotta Gnuddi, Grilled Halibut, Filet Mignon, and the Pork Baby Back Ribs. - The vibe and fact that the dishes are brought out to the table slowly and incrementally makes the entire dining experience especially social/enjoyable.

We were going to make a reservation but a credit card was required - that felt excessive for a reservation on a Wednesday night so we risked it and just showed up. We were early (5:30) so we got seated right away. We got a variety of appetizers after my mocktails (very gingery, yum!). The ribs had a great sauce but were overcooked a bit. The burrata was nice but crostini was so hard I thought it might tear up my mouth. Gnuddi was tasty but very oily. Great ambience and perfect for a wine drinker - extensive list. We would bring family or friends there for a night classy night out, but it wasn't overwhelmingly amazing to us.

I've been to Osteria Sierra multiple times now, both for breakfast and dinner, since it's inside…read morethe Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe and super convenient if you're staying there for a ski trip. For breakfast, this is a great spot especially if you're a Globalist member. The service in the morning is fantastic, super friendly staff who help you maximize the value of the free breakfast perk. You can tell they're familiar with the program and don't make it awkward. The breakfast options are solid and it's a comfortable way to start the day before hitting the slopes. Dinner is a bit more of a mixed bag. The menu has some good options and the atmosphere is nice with the cozy alpine vibes and velvet booths. That said, prices are pretty steep across the board which I get since it's a resort restaurant in Tahoe, but it still stings. My biggest miss was the lamb bolognese pasta which was over $50 and honestly so mid for the price, felt like something I could easily make at home. Some of the other dishes like the burrata pomodori and pulpo were solid though, so I wouldn't write off the dinner menu entirely. All-in-all, it's a reliable option if you're already at the Hyatt, especially for breakfast. For dinner, just be prepared for resort pricing and maybe skip the lamb bolognese. I'd recommend checking it out if you're in the area but keep your expectations in check on the value front.

I came to Osteria Sierra for afternoon tea expecting a traditional, refined experience, and…read moreunfortunately it missed the mark in several key ways. A proper afternoon tea service typically features loose-leaf tea presented in a teapot with an infuser or tea strainer. Instead, tea bags were provided. When another guest asked about loose tea, there wasn't even an appropriate strainer available, they handed her a large bar strainer, completely out of place. She ended up cutting open the tea bag with scissors just to try to steep it properly. The food also didn't follow traditional afternoon tea standards. Instead of delicate, bite-sized finger sandwiches, what was served were thick slices of bread cut diagonally with toppings piled on top. They were messy, difficult to eat, and everything fell apart with one bite--I literally had chicken salad end up on my lap. Definitely not something you'd expect (or want) if you showed up in a proper tea dress. That said, the waitress was very kind and clearly doing the best she could with what she had. She offered us extra lemon mini tarts which were delicious. The atmosphere was quiet only a few tables which could be a plus if you're just looking for a calm setting. Parking was another downside. If you're going just for tea, being charged up to $25 (or even $15 after validation) really takes away from the experience. We were lucky the lot attendant let us go without paying, which was appreciated, but it still felt like an unnecessary hassle. Overall, while the space has potential, the execution lacked the fundamentals and elegance that define a proper afternoon tea service.

It's located in a little shopping center with not much parking but we were able to get a spot pretty quickly. The outside had a cute little sitting area with a few tables but it was too cold for that haha. And the lady at the register was very nice and helpful with suggestions. On to the good stuff...THE FOOD. Five of us got burgers, each one a different way on the menu and each of us gives them a 5/5! They were cooked perfectly, super flavorful, and all around an excellent burger. My 13 year old got the chicken sandwich and said the pickles were delicious and the amount was perfect, so she gives them a 5/5. Fries were thin cut & crispy. Inclines fries were better BOMB 5/5 for us & same with the garlic fries. And my kids said the chicken nuggets were crispy and fresh. The spicy chicken nuggets were okay tasting, but they were on the small side, plus you're charging for the sauces for the chicken nuggets? Kind of a joke there. The inclined burger was dry and not well-seasoned (I had to use the bbq sauce we got with the nuggets) to help choke it down. The garlic fries were decent enough, but they were not crisp like fries should be. Go to the thai or burrito place next door, you'll get better food.
