I'm preparing my house in Round Rock for rent and with me being OCD about everything, I wanted to make sure my tenant moves in with no issues. I was testing out the garage door keypad outside and it didn't work at all. Changed the battery, entered in various codes, nothing. I tried to troubleshoot online to see if I could figure out what the issue was, but it started taking up too much time... Dale came out, looked at it and figured out it was a malfunctioning keypad that gave out. He had a spare in the truck and installed the new one, everything took less than 10 minutes. Dale also helped me fix the motion lights on the garage door opener that wasn't working for the longest time. Turns out the light bulbs had too short of a screw base lol. Recently moved into a 4 year old home. Last Friday, the garage door was making clunking noises, and quit working. The previous owners failed to disclose on the seller's disclosure that they were advised in October 2017 to make needed repairs....fast forward to a month later. I called the phone number left in the garage, I spoke with Steve, the owner, he was wonderful, and sent Dale out that evening, to look at the door. The door was out of balance, and springs wrong size from builder., and other problems. Tonight, I had an appointment for Dale to return and repair the door. Dale replaced the torsion tube, torsion springs, pair of end bearings, torsion cables, set of wire drums. Now I can park in garage and not worry. I damaged my garage door when I hit it with my boat motor when backing into my drive way. The door was damaged to such an extent that it needed to be replaced. I called several companies and all told me it would be several days before I could get an estimate, and one week later until they could have the door in stock. It was my good fortune to call Austin's Greater Garage Doors. I contacted them at 9:00 am, and a technician was at my home in one hour. The technician told me they would have to order and obtain a new door for my garage; it took them one hour to do this. I called the owner, Steve about 15 min before closing time. I knew it was a long shot, being so late at night time. Our garage door broke in 2 pieces, one panel was completely ripped off. This amazing gentleman offered to stop by at our house that night, on his way to his house after closing time, to check out the garage door. He concluded we needed a new garage door, the old door couldn't be fixed and we knew that even before he came over. Out of nowhere my garage door would not open, I started looking online for garage door repair centers, called the first and they advertised 24 hour service but quickly informed me that it would be 3 days before they could come to look at my door. I have lived my worst service experience with those guys. The service guy was a complete trash. I needed to get the garage door fixed and did not want to leave it open at night. The guy asked me to do it for $750. I found it expensive and he said he will charge the service fee $89 anyway. I told him to do it for $600 then. He was quite and called his boss. I thought he accepted the price. Then he fixed it in an hour or more. When time to pay he said $750 and I said we agreed for $600. He started argue and yelling at me and threatened me to call a police. I called his boss and try to explain the situation and tell to his service guy to be quiet. He was the same kind. I paid $750 at the end for a job which normally you get for $250. Keep away from those guys. read more

We made an online appointment for after 6 PM - same day. Cody called and said he was 5 minutes away and arrived at 6 as scheduled. We have just moved into an older home and knew the garage door had some years on it. One of the rollers fell off. I was expecting a hard sell for a new door. However, Cody replaced all rollers, untangled a cable, tightened and lubed the spring, tightened all bolts, adjusted the chain, and lubed all the new rollers. He said the spring may need to be replaced sometime in the future but was fine for now. He showed all areas to lube and to do so every 3 months. No hard sell for a new door! GREAT SERVICE !!! Very late in the afternoon our garage door came off the rollers, the tension cable unwound and the track was bent out. We called Austin's Greater Garage Doors in Pflugerville and talked to the owner Steven. Within 30 minutes Dale was out to diagnose and replace our broken garage door's rollers, rewind the cable, lubricated, and replaced our 250-300 pound tension broken spring. Early this morning my garage door got off track when I was about to take our two dogs for a walk...in my phone I had Steve's number and "good guy" under garage repair. My garage door started rebounding open occasionally. I called Steve and he was at the house within a few hours, even though it wasn't a critical problem. Steve quickly adjusted the opener and then recommended a few simple repairs that would improve my opener. He tightened the chains, lubed moving parts and replaced rollers with nylon ones.
