We went ahead and placed our order right away, but it still took nearly 25 minutes for our food to arrive. During that entire time, our server never once checked on us or offered an update. When our food finally arrived, her attitude was absolutely unacceptable. She practically shoved my plate at me, dropped my wife's plate onto the table, and walked away. We also asked for syrup, which never arrived until we finally flagged down another server for help. Rude and obnoxious barely begin to describe her behavior. The lack of courtesy and basic customer service was astounding. Food: My California omelette was okay, but nothing special. My wife's pancake, on the other hand, was hard as a rock. And to make matters worse, it cost $7 for ONE pancake! At that price, you would expect something worth eating. Overall: It's sad to see a place that was once such a beloved Austin institution fall this far. Between the terrible service, disappointing food, and outrageous price for a single pancake, this visit was a complete letdown.
