The pool is to die for and great for hosting friends & bbq. The neighbors were super kind, generous, and fun. Cortona has events every couple month to get the community together, like, cocktail hour, game night, holiday parties & even events for your doggo. I have a 110 pound shepherd & they welcomed him like their own. The place has a grooming area for the doggo that allows you the wash your dog and blow dry them, not to include the huge dog park. Also, as a frequent traveler, I was very pleased with the easy access to the airport from it quaint Clayton location. I found the Landlord Larry to be quite attentive to the lease holder needs and always concerned about the well being of the property, both in and around the the apartments. Any repairs or needs were promptly addressed. He even added items (e.g. power outlets and bike racks) without requests, just because he saw the needs of his tenants. The building has a wonderful Tudor exterior with six apartments. It also has easy access to the upper floors by a an elevator, but also has a period staircase that complements the Tudor architecture. I found the community rooftop very peaceful and inviting. The all granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms, the beautiful stone showers along with high end appliances also added to the luxury feel of the apartment and complex. I've rented for nearly 15 yrs in 4 cities and have never ever come close to such a traumatic situation. Was told a couple years ago there was a tenant shot while in their vehicle in their parking which is not free. My vehicle was vandalized for thousands $ while in their lot within a month.
