Love my Whispering Hills Apartment. Complex. Lots of green space, great recreation amenities. Has a laid back "everyday feels like a resort" vibe. Easy walk to stores and shops. 64+ places to dine within a short walk. Close to parks and walking trails and music etc. Oh yes. And the staff is great.Friendly community. Apartment design is well done. 15 minutes more or less depending on time of day, to almost any where in St Louis. Been here since June 2000. Come on by and check it out. I live in the Preston Run Apartment complex in TN. My review is only for this location. Our staff is very kind and attentive. I really like the front office. They are always professional and nice when I pick up my packages, and anytime I've had an issue (which I try to keep low), they've been quick to respond. I've even had to talk to the courtesy officer once, and they were very quick and efficient. This complex is nice and quiet, which is my favorite. Apartments in the past can feel small and loud. But the layout here keeps the buildings separated, and our building is pretty quiet and sticks to themselves. When it's not winter, the grounds are very pretty. I love how big the dog park is! Finally a place with a dog park bigger than a parking spot!! Maintenance is very cool and chill. Never had issues with them. They're professional when they walk inside the apartment. If I saw another apartment complex with my current staff, I would live there again. We've been here 2ish years now, and they are nice and decent enough to not hate life like at other apartment complexes. I wish pricing was a little better, but don't we all at this point? read more

THEY HAVE NO HUMANITY OR INTEGRITY! I completely regret moving to Whispering Hills. Believe the incentivized reviews if you want. Reviews from people going to visit but not moving in. THESE PEOPLE TURNED MY LIFE UPSIDE DOWN AND ROBBED ME!! I was asked to pay an extremely high deposit and I paid because I just knew I would get my money back. I DID NOT DAMAGE THE UNIT. The unit was not even ready when I moved in. Footprints on the blinds, yellow ooze on the walls, nails in the walls and trash from the previous tenant. I moved out 4/20/25, Shannon performed the walk thru the very next day breaking the law by not infoming either tenant of the date and time of the final walkthru which is ILLEGAL and we asked multiple times. Shannon trumped up over $5000.00 in false egregious charges for damages she could not even document that included damages I reported from the previous tenant. I am a hard working single mother and this place is owned by a multi million dollar company that chose to STEAL MY MONEY. I lost my daughter, could not put the money down for my home because they stole from me! I had to sue them in court. They have the most unscrupulous attorney and property management team. I begged for corporate to assist me with Shannon who clearly has a problem with women of color. This predartory unethical place is fine UNTIL you move out. DO YOUR RESEARCH THEY ARE LYING CROOKS AND WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. I could not even find an attorney to help me and Shannon KNEW how hard it would be to fight back. APPLAUSE WHISPERING HILLS FOR TAKING MONEY FROM ME AND MY KIDS. I was already experiecning hardship and these horrible people took pleasure in causing me stress, strain and financial hardship. This is the first and last time I will ever go into a lease with companies like MICHELSON REALTY COMPANY LLC. I am 72 and have rental property of my own so I understand the owners side of leases. I have lived at Kensington West Apartment (MICHELSON REALTY COMPANY LLC.) for two years my lease is coming up for renewal. I thought I would look around and see if there was something a little better maybe bigger maybe cheaper. After doing some research and looking at a few places, my family decided buying a condo would be best. I have lived here two years I always pay my rent a month early, never have had any complaints. I asked management 90 days before the end of my lease if we could mutually come to an agreement so we could end the lease a month early. They would have 90 days to try to rent it. If they couldn't rent the apartment then I would be responsible. They would not accept that offer even after I agreed to forfeit my deposit. If I had a renter like myself in one of my houses I would make an amendment to the lease and agree. read more

Had contacted the realty office and was told the regional manager Jack Porter will call but instead the leasing office calls me back saying "you wanted to talk to someone other then leasing office?" I have been renting my townhouse since 2014. I can't say enough about the friendly staff, the activities, all of the amenities, quick responding maintenance workers, and the location. I have never had any serious issues, but when I needed something fixed someone was there to fix it immediately. The staff is always hosting activities for us to attend and meet other people who live in the complex. Lastly, my dogs really enjoy the dog park, and playing with all of their 4 legged friends. read more

Fire hazards, leaking water, mold, mildew, blood stains all over the place, and leaking sewage are just a few of many things Todd and Matt Devero overlook on a daily basis at 8701 Delmar Blvd. Those two like to play games and it's obvious they think they are at war with the tenants and treat us that way. They ignore the true needs of the elderly and manipulate the elderly into not filing complaints by acting likable and over friendly. However it's insincere and all they are doing is trying to avoid work and saving the company money. There are several bio hazards in the building that could result in serious illness, especially if you're a senior citizen or a small child. I've posted pictures here and on "The Envoy" yelp page as well (many more pictures). The leasing agents are careless and LIE as much as they can to trick you into signing a lease. The staff spend more time watching the clock and not doing anything than they do actual work. Everyone running the envoy on Delmar should be fired. Don't ever rent from these people. I live at Fenwick Place in Louisville, KY. The staff here has been nothing short of amazing! They have treated us like family since day one. Maintenance has always been prompt when needed and the front office is easy to communicate with when I've needed their services. The grounds are always clean and I have no complaints about the neighbors. Our apartment is so beautiful! I've never felt so at home. My only quarrel is that the playground should be updated to accommodate little ones. I really love it here! read more

March 2019: The manager, Kristina Singen, is a bona fide racist bully. I left Park Forest apartments over 2 years ago but she has continued to file case after case against me. In 2017, she filed 6 (SIX) cases against me under Michelson Properties (the owner company) to obtain occupancy for ONE apartment. She has now, in 2019, filed yet another case against me under Park Forest Apartments, to make it look like I have been evicted multiple times from multiple properties. This is despite her initial filings being under Michelson. Fortunately for me, people know sickness and racism when they see it. I had never been evicted before, and have not been evicted since. Kristina Singen also monitors my Facebook account and filed this latest case after I posted that I bought a car. She is trying to sue me for money I do not owe and will not pay "just to get her off my back." Karma gets people like her. I will also not stop living my best life and sharing my achievements on my Facebook page because of one miserable freak. Get a life. It turns out Kristina Singen lives in a trailer in a mobile home park. While there is nothing wrong with that, it does cast perspective on her resentment of a black person's occupation of a "nice" apartment complex. July 2017: There has been a perceptible lowering of customer service quality from the office since Sarah left. Despite never having been late with rent, Kristina Singen, the manager, picked a fight with me by ordering me to get rid of my pets, which were on my rental application and for which I pay monthly pet rent. This fight ended up in court as an eviction. And NO, my Lhasa Apso did not bite anyone. Surely there would be some kind of police or first responder's report about that? Apparently that's the excuse she uses when questioned about her harassment and victimization of me. Aside from personal vendettas, you will be bombarded with weekly edicts that whether you are present or not, the office will need access to your apartment. You will have notices put through your door every other day bothering you about this or that. It's not a peaceful place anymore. Rent elsewhere. As an aside, it is also dangerous to turn into the apartment complex when driving north on River des Peres as you have to pause mid traffic until the oncoming traffic slows down enough to let you through. During rush hour, the wait can last several minutes. Also, the steep slope uphill into the apartment complex can be difficult to navigate in rainy or icy conditions. read more

This is the worst customer service we have ever experienced. Our son has been to the doctor 4 times, I've now gone 4 times, spending over $1000 in medical bills due to the cigarette smoke issue on our apartment, mostly residing in my children's room! We have received ZERO, I repeat, ZERO, help from anyone other than Missy in the office if Kensington West who tells us there's nothing that can be done due to the people with health issues not being on the lease! This place disgusts me. And the lack of care for their tenants is forcing us to hire an attorney yes to protect our health. My wife and I have lived at the Vineyards in Frisco, Tx for almost 8 yrs. They keep the Vineyards very beautiful! The maintenance crew is very responsive, the do the repairs right the first time. The office staff are very courteous and responsive! Denise has been here as long as we have, a precious lady! The manager has changed a few times, but is always helpful and respectful! We have an attached garage! 2 years ago they upgraded, they removed the carpet, replaced with faux wood tiles that look great, but they also replaced all the appliances with new stainless! We love living here and plan to remain! If we had to move we would look for other Michelson properties! read more

We are extremely happy with our apt and experience at The Envoy. Todd always responds to our requests for help. He quickly repaired our sink this week, and in the past has gone out of his way to check concerns, like the elevator. This is an old building so AC units and pipes need constant attention and since the parking garage has a dropped ceiling (not very practical) any leak shows up in drooping ceiling tiles. The laundry area does not have any smell and we use the laundry quite often. Surprised the other tenants complained they were very nice neighbors to us and never mentioned how unhappy they were here. read more

Michelson Communities One of the worst communities to live in if you have a disability.They do not care about disabled folks . The Vineyard one of their properties is 15 yrs old and they have not upgraded the heating units and so they are not efficient you have to crank it up to 76 just to get it at 72 otherwise it drops to 67 in the apt this also makes for high bills and when you have a disease like Parkinson's this can be deadly .They also upgraded the apt to hardwood floors which are dangerous to some with Parkinson .. They have a air tight clause you can not break a lease without severe financial hardship that are expensive .This was all brought to their attention and the request was since they could not comply to the ADA FHA Reasonable accommodation to improve the heating and the lack of carpet was tough ..We do not have to comply they did say if you want carpet you put it in and as far as the heating though the mindset was we do not care we want to make it hard on you because we are the big business and you are the little person and Texas is landlord friendly ... So if you have a disability beware they are outdated apts with high rent and they just do not care .The newer ones some are ADA compliant look for them ... Also the electric is sky high and the water is also sky high I am supposedly using more water here in a 2 bedroom that I did in my 4 bedroom house with a yard to water read more

I LOVED living here! The maintenance supervisor was ALWAYS so helpful and always assisted with issues. The only thing i did not like was having these couples who lived above me complaining and trying to get the residents to side with them in there issues. I am a drama-free person and these people were the worse tenants ever and neighbors! The entire apartment had one maintenance supervisor to fix EVERYTHING and he did just that. He got to everyone when he can. I have not complaint staying there and the location was great too! OVERALL, great community and GREAT resident minus a few!! They are dishonest, greedy, corrupt, incompetent, negligent, ignorant, etc. We leased an apartment from them and it is a overpriced HELLHOLE that they don't intend to remedy. Their management and maintenance staff is incompetent, lazy, dis-honest and negligent.Since they are not abiding by the lease we are suing them. We were advised by a reputable lawyer to do so. we moved into the orchard village apt in St. Louis, MO. Our experience from day one has been horrible. The apartment was not ready by our move in date. No one informed us of this. It wasn't until we called 5 days prior to move in that we were even told. We had to reschedule our truck rental, pay for extra days at our old place, find new people to help us. Needless to say, extremely inconvenient!! We show up to move in and the place is still incomplete!! We were told it would be completed by Tuesday at the latest. This was on Sunday. It is now 10 days later and we haven't heard a word on when our place would be finished. Upon moving we discovered numerous other items that were not mentioned to us that needed repairs. 2 days into living here our kitchen sink started leaking, the washing machine started leaking, the ac wasn't working, the towel rack fell off the bathroom wall, the trim started falling off, the paint started bubbling up, and the list goes on and on. We have gone to the leasing office nearly everyday for information, and all they do is tell us we need to speak to the property manager, who is never there. They shake their heads and tell us they can't believe this is happening and tell us we should be compensated in some way for the inconvenience but apparently "corporate" does not agree. They, michaelson realty, thinks its ok for their property managers to conduct business this way. Giving us the run-around, forcing us to pay for an incomplete, misrepresented product. All we wanted was to be treated fairly. Be careful doing business with these criminals. Taking money from hardworking families and not taking responsibility for their mistakes!!!
