Wonderful geriatric care. I have seen 5 APRNs in different settings of care. All have been highly experienced, and very knowledgeable.

Incredible doc...Excellent!!…read more Having worked as a Senior Physician Recruiter for many years, my requirements for a physician come from a trained background of what to look for and what to be wary of. I know how to check a background, I know what a thorough exam and appointment is, and I know what rushing a patient through in order to see more patients a day for money means to the patient. Additionally, I can recognize better equipment and practices. I had a great doctor in Dallas (Dr. Bonnet) and I could not find a satisfactory one after moving to Austin that met my scrupulous checks & desire for excellence. At other offices I was rushed through appointments, kept waiting endlessly due to overbooking, or not questioned well during the appointment or answered thoroughly...or not called back when I had a question or needed something or had to get a refill, etc... Dr. Browining is unique & wonderful!! And I thank the above posters who allowed me to finally find him! You are not only never kept waiting for much time at all, he is amazingly smart in discussions, he is so thorough in questions and answers that you feel you are his only patient... He has state-of-the-art equipment. He is caring, thorough, and beyond impressive. I've already recommended him and immediately gotten the response back that he was an incredible doctor who spends a great deal of time to ensure you are cared for. He will not schedule unecessary procedures or cram patients in as so many doctors do when a monetary business becomes a goal over care...yet, like today when I needed an ultrasound, (which is what made me think to write this), he ensures I immediately get the care needed. Care is evident in this office...but that means very little if the physician isn't a brilliant doctor...and I've been beyond impressed in that regard as well. He obviously is one of those doctors with a passion for what he does and for what's current in medical journals. I joined Yelp for one reason alone...I thought I'd be remiss in not giving credit where credit is due. I looked for 3 years for a doctor I liked in Austin. I used to have to drive to Dallas to go to my old doctor because no one else's practice ever measured up. I am, therefore, beyond happy to recommend him to anyone needing an excellent physician in Austin. You'll see a difference in what is the norm and what happens here during your very first vist, without a doubt. -Alana

He immediately addressed the issue in his office rather than referring me to a dermatologist to do the dirty work. I truly did need immediate attention and he gave it to me. I can't speak highly enough of him and his assistant for bravely going where no one should have to go. I hope this does not sound like an exaggeration, but I feel like I owe my life to him. It has only been a day, and I'm still a mess, but I have to express my gratitude to this incredible doctor. I also want to publicly apologize for cursing as he cut into it. I hope your medical emergency gets taken care of by Dr. Browning, or someone as talented and compassionate as he is.

He is a remarkably compassionate, skilled, intelligent physician He is one who listens carefully, and uses common sense, and a broad depth of medical knowledge. His front office staff has turned over many times, and those who were the best have moved on, and I miss them.

It seems like some of the physicians don't really do 'Physical Exams' on their patients anymore ! I remember when you went in for your 'annual physical' and the doctor would order an EKG, Chest X-Ray, Comprehensive Lab Work and do a Complete Exam on you as you sat on the table in a gown. Not any more ! This office doesn't even have you change into a gown ! I told the Doctor I thought I should get another chest x-ray since my last one was years ago ! He ordered it and I went to ARA. The Chest X-ray report, I assumed, was Within 'Normal' Limits since I did Not receive a call from anyone at his office !! I am concerned about my respiratory health and because of the persistent cough I'm experiencing, I feel that I should see a Pulmonologist (No Referral, Just ME being my own advocate ! I Do Not have an HMO Insurance, so it is my Choice !!). Last week I sent a message through Dr Murdy's office Web Portal requesting that they email me my Chest X-Ray results and 'Manual' responded saying that they do not do that. He told me that he would print out a copy of the report and have it at the front desk for me to pick up. I responded by thanking him and letting him know that I would pick the report up the following week on Monday ore Tuesday afternoon. Well I went there today, Tuesday afternoon, and the report was Not at the front desk as Manual Promised and apparently it is Not in My Chart either ! Really ??? Why didn't Manual call ARA for the Report ?? If it was not available from them then Manual should have contacted me to let me know ! This is Extremely Poor Service and I will be requesting All of my records to be sent to a Reputable Physician and Caring Staff !

She was patient with me whenever I got antsy and calmly answered any questions I had, even the pesky annoying ones that could drive doctors nuts. She does her job efficiently and in a careful manner, always walking me through the uncomfortable bits, especially for some procedures that could easily leave one feeling traumatized if something went wrong. I've had many bad experiences with going to the doctor's office, but never once has she ever made me feel unsafe. At the practice where I was seeing her, she was one of the only decent people there; I'd call the office and sometimes whoever answered clearly had a bad day and would go off, amongst other interactions that made me question my time there(pre-COVID too no less), but knowing how clinics are it's no skin off my back and PA Enos is someone I can trust. While I can no longer see her until she's at another clinic I can go to per my insurance, I'd feel confident seeing her again knowing she has the patient's best interest at heart.

This includes family members of all ages from young children to seniors and a Type-1 diabetic. Dr. Geyer not only displays a keen medical knowledge and ability, but continually demonstrates a sincere empathy for the patients he is treating. His insight, sense of humor, thoughtfulness and stellar bedside manner all combine with his medical experience and ability to make him a truly outstanding physician. This friendly and professional demeanor is totally displayed by every member of his team as well, including Ky Yarborough, PA-C and Rebecca Ellspermann, PA-C, both of whom are fantastic in their own rights. Additionally, Premier Family Physicians has developed a web-based system that allows efficient and effective communication between the patient, Dr. Geyer and his staff members. Questions can be directed by secure email and answers are ALWAYS prompt and on point. Accommodation has always been made by the friendly and helpful administrative staff to arrange quick access to Dr. Geyer and/or his staff when the medical need arises. After hours assistance is provided by an efficient "call back" system from a Premier Family Physicians M.A., with elevation to a Premier Family Physicians physician when necessary. In my case, a Friday night call for an apparent kidney-stone, resulted in a first-thing Saturday appointment with another terrific Premier Family Physicians doctor, saving me a trip to urgent care or an emergency room. In this time of deteriorating medical service quality, Dr. Geyer continues to provide outstandingly personal medical care, supported and unimpeded by Premier Family Physicians. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to be patients of such a truly fine physician.
