    Faded curb marker
    Megan D.

I'm kind of surprised by all of the positive reviews. We didn't like the look of the curb wrap so just requested the traditional curb number painting. It's $40 per marker and they suggest one for each side of the driveway, so we paid $80. Within two months, it looked so faded already, I'm sure it will look terrible within 6 months. Not a good deal at all. For reference, we had it installed on 2/2 and this photo was from 3/26. Not to mention, when I emailed to ask for an estimated time of installation (they charge you immediately but give a disclaimer saying they may take up to 15 days), the owner just responded with a screenshot of the 15 day rule, no other communication at all. I knew it was done when I received a wordless photo of the marker from an unknown number. No friendliness at all. I feel ripped off.

This is the curb in front of my house after painted by Austin Curb

They did an ok job after waiting several weeks after paying them. I had to hound them several times to get them out here to paint the curb. I had them paint two numbers on my curb at a cost of $70 for the A&M maroon set up. It looks fine but for $70 I expected a cleaner job with the white outline that is shown in the advertisement on the website. Again it is a fine job but wouldn't pay $70 for this again. Pretty generic for that kind of premium.

The best Curb address markers out there! We love our address markers. We appreciate the ability to create our own mash up design! We love the quality. Our neighbors love that our address is finally clear and visible. Don't delay, the process is seamless and the results are fantastic!

As ya'll may have guessed by my numerous reviews about my home and home services, I am always doing something to my home or ranch site. Truthfully, all my money goes to my kiddos and my properties (and this is why I am looking a hot mess every time y'all see me because I can't afford to dress like I own a home after I pour all my money into my homes). A few months back (4/11/21 to be exact), I sent an inquiry online to this local company about getting my curb wrapped. After I paid the money online the day I inquired about the service, I was advised Austin Curb Service would show up at sometime in the future and do the job. I thought to myself "well, okay, I guess, no ETA, odd, but I'll allow it". On 5/19/21, I happened to be outside pulling weeds in the front yard, and it was done...it was like a Christmas Miracle! I am happy the job was done to my satisfaction and it really makes a difference in relation to curb appeal. Most importantly, Austin Curb Service made this old Sailor happy. BZ Austin Curb Service! #GoNavy #Supportlocal

Wait. What? I can only give 5 stars? I wanted a custom curb wrap and Rick and company hit it out of the park and exceeded my expectations! Great communication. Fabulous customer service. I've already gotten many oohs and ahhhs on my curb wrap from neighbors. Go getchu one!

I bought a new place and it's part of a four-plex and all the houses look alike. It's all cool. I'm just happy to have been able to buy a house, ya know? I moved in, hung the TV, got comfy with living in the new digs, then...quelle surprise. I learned my immediate neighbor has a side hustle with Airbnb (it's legal, I checked!). Since moving in to identical houses, I have a lot of people coming up to my door trying to get in, mis-delivered Go Puff orders, or just dudes looking for their couch surf next door. In an effort to help make it clearer who's house is whose, I decided to have my driveway painted with my house number. I found Rick through the Google, checked back here at the 'ole Yelp, and put in an order. I found Rick's site easy to navigate and the ordering form user intuitive. Once I placed my order, Rick showed up in LESS THAN 24 HOURS and fit me in! This was a very nice thing to do. Rick was tenacious in calling me to make sure he was at the right house, too. Rick's work was wonderful, neat, and exactly what I ordered. Thank you! Now, the test is on to see if the next Airbnb guest goes to the right house first.

Austin Curb Service did a great job installing our curb address! We would highly recommend having one of these installed to help delivery drivers & emergency medical services if needed later in life! Great quality and very clear to read and very durable

Did a fantastic job and definitely y worth every penny. I had them do this back in 1994 and lasted till now.

Driveway Number Painting I recently decided to get our address numbers painted on the driveway. I seriously debated trying to tackle the job myself, so glad I found Austin Curb Service, service was fast and affordable. They are upfront with costs, no hidden fees. $35 if you want the number on the curb, $50 if you want the two on both sides of the driveway. I went with driveway, he spent a few hours really making sure to get it right and it was beautiful! The site gives you options of wraps or spray paints, I chose the old fashioned paintings. Give them a call, or schedule online, the website might act up a little, but still worth it. Call (512) 589-7574 https://www.austincurbservice.com/

The cabinets and walls needed a total refresh of paint, and all that new woodwork had tons of caulking/filling/sanding/priming etc to do. Then we needed new crown molding added to our half bath, and there were several sheetrock patches plus some ceiling cracks which needed good prepping and feathering in. Also, our front and back doors needed to be repainted. So - a lot of work! And I am picky about quality. I chose Austin Professional Painting because they seemed well organized, well qualified, and ready to go at a scale of enough workers that we could get back to living in the downstairs of our house in a reasonable amount of time. Their comfort with good quality paint was also a key factor in my choice. So: the guys who came out to do the work, Carlos and Ivan - plus another couple of guys on certain days, were very nice, polite, and extremely hard working. They did a very good job and I am satisfied with the work. I would hire Austin Professional Painters again (and probably will this fall when we get around to renewing the master bath), and I definitely recommend them. I'll have to update this review with photos soon, I just need to take a bunch of them.

Not only did they give us the most competitive price, John and his crew were very professional and did an awesome job. They painted the whole house including the trim and front door in about 4 days. They also used top quality paint (Sherwin Williams Emerald) so the paint should be looking good for many years. This was by far my best experience with a painting company so I highly recommend APP and will be using them for any future painting work.

I recently had 21st Century repaint the exterior of my house. You can find that review here as…read morewell. I'm writing a new one because this is a different project. After they finished painting my house, a few weeks later after heavy rains I noticed a stain on the ceiling of a guest bedroom. I knew immediately it was the long nagging problem of the "dead valley" along my roof. The house was designed and built according to the architect's drawings to have the roof of the first floor bedroom run into the siding of the house. It was a short "run" and rainfall should go quickly into the gutters. But, this was built under a big, old oak tree and for many years, I've had leaves and twigs built up, damming up the water. If I can remember it, I have to get up on a ladder with a rake and rake the leaves away from where the shingles meet the siding. After one major hailstorm, I had the roof replaced and when they replacing it, I asked them to build something to reduce the leave/branch damming. They did build it, but apparently not big enough. It lasted probably 14-15 years until this recent Spring. Since I had a good experience with 21st Century, I called them out to give me a bid on repairing what was probably rotted trim and exposed flashing and other rot elsewhere. And while they were at it, I asked them to build me a better diverter away from the siding. They came out and took care of it in a day. The guy was there from 8:30 to 5:00, taking a break for lunch, but got it done. Since they were also the painters, they asked me for the leftover paint they left for me (for touch-up) that came in handy as they had to replace the rotten trim and as it turned out a section of the roof decking. Attached are the pictures they took for the bid and then afterwards when they were complete. They were detailed enough to ask me first, "hey, this diversion we're putting in is a lighter grey then your shingles. Are you okay with that? We can go back and get darker materials". I said that was fine. No one can see that part of the roof and so it was trivial to me. The only negative thing from the painting and the roofing experience is so minor it's not worth taking away a star is that there will be a gap between when you sign and return the contract and they contact you about scheduling the actual work. In both cases, I had to drop them a line to remind them I was in the queue. Being a service that can't work when it's raining, I can understand that they have days where scheduled work is delayed and that causes a snowball effect of delays.

So, we developed an informal prospectus based on this assumption. Sometime later, we happened upon a poster advertising That 1 Painter, a licensed and bonded enterprise based in the Treasure Valley. Their reviews were strongly favorable and more so noteworthy was that T1P had been voted Best of Idaho twice (among many other plaudits)! So, when we were ready we contacted them with the intention that they would provide us with our first estimate. We were visited by Ruth Brinton, a professional house painter and owner of T1P. She presented well with confidence and comprehension. She looked at many things that we would have likely overlooked. She made many observations and shared her thoughts with us. She also looked at the property and made recommendations regarding colors to not only enhance the house, but also to optimize the use of colors that would give balance and compliment to the property on the whole. The next day, we received the detailed estimate for the job. We were stunned to learn that T1P would do the job for well below our most auspicious estimates! All the information we had gathered convinced us that we did not have need to solicit another estimate. Within a month's time (from initial contact) our house was very nicely and professionally cleaned, prepped and painted. The crew performing the work were polite, friendly and professional. Clearly, the team at T1P are committed to customer service and satisfaction. We offer a solid 5-star review and our full endorsement.
