Our HOA's experience with Bee Cave Drilling in Dripping Springs, TX has been frustrating from day…read moreone. They installed a water well for our community, but the quality of their work and their lack of accountability raised serious concerns. To start, the electrical system was improperly wired, creating multiple safety hazards -- including three of their own workers being shocked. I was surprised to find out that they do not use licensed electricians during installs. I had to hire a licensed electrician to fix their mistakes, but Bee Cave Drilling refused to reimburse us for the cost. They also failed to keep their promised schedule. They told us the job would be completed by Friday, only to inform us late that evening that they wouldn't return until Monday. The well still wasn't operational, and they had not advised us to pre-order water. Our neighborhood had already been without water for weeks and we had to band together to finish the job just to get access to water. Following a billing dispute related to these issues, Bee Cave Drilling informed us they would no longer provide service -- effectively walking away from their responsibility. Fast forward five years, the pump they installed has now failed. According to the new drilling company making the repairs, this failure was likely caused by poor installation from the start. The wiring was damaged -- possibly from being dragged along the steel casing -- and the jacket had been stripped with multiple splices near the pump. At that depth, the extreme pressure can cause shorts and system failure. They also failed to install a check valve to manage back pressure and didn't properly set the pump saver, which allowed the well to run dry. The current contractors believe any or all of these mistakes may have contributed to the pump's failure. We are now facing nearly $30,000 in repair and replacement costs due to Bee Cave Drilling's substandard work and inexperience. I cannot recommend Bee Cave Drilling in good conscience. Their poor workmanship, lack of professionalism, and refusal to stand behind their work have caused serious, long-term problems. I hope this review helps others avoid a similar experience.

SSGE , Alvin TX, acted like a teenager wrt aftersale service. The first time I called SSGE was when…read morethen was an alarm on the system, ( a year after install) and they refused service!!! The reason per SSGE, was that there was dispute during install. During the sales process, SSGE had told me that HOA approval was NOT needed. Right after installation, the HOA wanted to remove the generator, and it took me 2 weeks to sort out the issue. I paid SSGE the second half of the payment in full only after the dispute with HOA was settled in about 2 weeks. Is that a good enogh reason to not provide service?? I had to call Generac's head-quarters and they helped me trouble shoot the alarm on my system.

They were handling the pest control for a house I bought, so I asked them what services they were…read moreproviding and how much it would cost to continue the service. I indicated my preferred method of contact was email (they specifically asked). Several weeks later, they still have not answered my specific questions except to send me a generic contract that included services I almost certainly didn't need. They never replied to my email response asking for clarification and have instead robo-called me many times. So if you ask them for a quote, be prepared for this. I will also add that when we had the home inspected, there were dead mice in the attic that they had never bothered to clear so it doesn't seem that the services they provide are very good (both that there were mice in the attic after the previous owners paid a lot of money to seal it and that they were never removed). I normally wouldn't bother reviewing a place like this, but they won't stop calling me . . .

I used this company to fix my fridge which was leaking water on to the floor. After it was fixed, I…read morewas told that I had a card on file and that payment could be taken from the card (since I had to give them a credit card number to just get the initial ppointment in the first place). I said okay fine. The next day it started leaking again. When we looked at the previous fix, it was clearly a band aid fix. I asked them to come out and fix it again properly and was told we hadn't made the payment for the first fix. I responded that their rep told me it would be automatically billed and paid that way, but that I was glad they hadn't taken payment because it clearly wasn't fixed correctly the first time. Another guy came out and put more tape or spray or whatever and called it a day and I got an irate call from someone with a thick accent in which I could barely understand what they were saying but he was accusing me of withholding payment. So I said, (as I could tell this was going to go nowhere), I'll send you a check since y'all are making a stink over your own credit card terms. Which I did send them a check and guess what, it's leaking again! When we asked them to come out again, they basically said no because you guys don't pay...lol at that point I 'm like okay , credit card on file means nothing I suppose so why do they need one to make the appointment in the first place? I think this business would be better if they solved their internal affairs first like figuring out what their payment policies are before accusing someone of not paying. Then, better addressing fixing things instead of band aid fixing would be a great book-end to this business.
