Arthur Murray Red Bank studio just had the most amazing and magical event at the Sterling Ballroom…read more(inside the Double Tree Hotel Tinton Falls-Eatontown). We were searching for a venue which could accommodate our Valentine's Ball with Showcase and Social dance with full scale catering. The Sterling Ballroom team did not disappoint. From the beginning of planning to execution, we had a short amount of time, only 6 weeks! We found the venue during the last week of December, and finalized contract at the beginning of January and our event was February 9th! The Sales Team Reena and Sue tagged team well and got what we needed at a short notice with holiday downtime during the final contract arrangement. The Sterling Ballroom had been more than accommodating. They were able to set up everything to perfection. From table setup, to decoration, centerpiece etc. When our guests arrived, everyone was complimenting immediately about the Ambiance of the ballroom. The numerous chandeliers gave it the most elegant look and feel. The place was warm and the staff were the most welcoming. Special thanks to the Catering Manager Nemo who has met with our studio manager several times to ensure the House speaker system would work with AM Red Bank's sound equipment as well as on the day of, re-arranged tables to perfection as our original floor plan did not really match what we wanted (our fault, not The Sterling Ballroom's). Our event had a floating schedule. Nemo was able to get his staff to turn around quickly and serve food slightly earlier than scheduled. His team of staff were so pleasant. Everyone had a great smile on and very efficient in working. Very professional. From our end, everyone was raving about how good the food was. The salmon was extremely juicy and tender. The Paella was a very nice touch as most places wouldn't have that on the menu. The Banquet menu had great choices and we were able to select 4 entrees, 2 types of salads with great accompaniments and desserts. Refreshment was provided throughout the event which was a nice touch as we all needed coffee, water and drink for a dance event! All in all, we could not have been happier with how the event turned out. Will be looking forward to organizing more events at The Sterling Ballroom in the future and would recommend this to all who want to have a special event!

Since we had parked right next to The Standard, we chose to give it a try for lunch--and it was the best decision we've made in a long time. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant itself was just as lovely. We were a party of five, including a 14-month-old baby, and our waitress could not have been more accommodating. Another great convenience is that the hotel also has parking available in the back. I only wish I had taken photos! We started with appetizers--crispy calamari, mussels, and chicken wing lollipops. For our entrées, we ordered the French Dip sandwich, the Carnegie Reuben, and two Standard burgers. We also asked for a kids' pasta. Expecting the usual penne, we were surprised when angel-hair pasta arrived. Our little girl had never tried it before, so we requested a substitution. Although our waitress explained that angel hair was the only pasta they typically have, she returned moments later to let us know the chef was going to get penne just for us. That level of service truly stood out. The food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. We enjoyed our visit so much that we are even considering hosting a family wedding and a baptism here. Unfortunately, he had a mess up where he told us something was gluten-free and when we double checked with someone else, we found out that it was not. Thankfully, the other man who was working at the bar advised us and told us that the kitchen would make the meal Gluten-free for us, which was awesome. We really liked it. Also got a wedge salad with steak which was really good. I'm so glad we clarified things because it could've been a real health issue if we didn't. I think the server needs to be l educated on the severity of allergies and to ask instead of assuming if he isn't sure. We also ordered an apple pie and asked for iced cream on the side and it came out on top. There was also so much liquid floating around in the dessert. We didn't even ask to send it back because it was already a tense interaction with him as he just seemed annoyed our entire time there. Barely ate the dessert and when I had mentioned to him that we asked for the ice cream on the side I don't think he understood and asked if I wanted a box to take it home but I just said no. I just barely ate it and took it as a $14 loss. We were going to get one more drink because we were enjoying being outside even though the service wasn't that great, but the server ended up l bringing us the check, which we hadn't asked for yet so we took it as a sign to just go. I think we just got stuck with someone who did not like his job and was unhappy he was there and unfortunately it did taint our experience. They worked with my vendors, provided attentive service, and I was pleased with the outcome of it all. I dealt with Sam the manager and he was excellent, whatever I asked he made it happen. He helped me have a worry free night to enjoy. Peter was designated to be my person for the night during event to go to and he was superb as well, all around great service and quality.

I booked it with Nicole who had the party date set and ready for us. Then I get a call from the owner Frank who confirms the package, head count, additional orders for the adults. Then I received another call from Nicole asking to confirm the things for the party, when I informed her that I spoke to Frank, she tells me that he never wrote it in the system. As we get there for the day of the party, Frank has music playing with foul language playing in the background. The party starts late and they try and end the party early. The party only runs for an hour and a half. When I was charged for the party Frank charges me more than what was stated in the invoice that he sent me. When I question him about it, he tells me that he will call me back and see what happened. He never returned my call. If you want a nice experience all and all don't book it here, you will be disappointed all around.

Swans and ducks in the lake made for a picture perfect wedding! We were able to help ourselves to hit apple cider and other beverages to enjoy during the ceremony. The service was friendly and polite and ohhhh the food!!!! Appetizers like sushi-cheese sticks-raw oyster bar- Mexican station- Mediterranean Station, Fruit Station and my fave- the bacon station!! The bacon station featured delicious bacon Mac n cheese- chocolate dipped bacon , candied bacon, bacon wrapped dates and bacon wrapped scallops! Just lighthearted ease and care for the guests and the lovely camaraderie too. It is a special place. I sleep so well when I'm here. I enjoy my bed and the blankets and I had six pillows on my bed. All perfectly fluffy. I feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud. I sleep well in my dreams are the best. Restful. Blissful. Again the views of the river are so beautiful in the clouds also. Now two high end restaurants on campus but you have to take out loans to eat there--certainly not comfort food places for a marina. Parking is impossible on weekends. Gas dock up and running manned by inexperienced teens. We were told that if a boater makes a complaint about any of these items he is told "that if you don't like it here, go somewhere else!!! Could make one cry since the local is magnificent. Obvious major management shortfalls.
