I came because I was nearby and looking for a new car. This was an impulse stop though. Ford…read morehadn't really hit my radar. Drove one of thier smaller suvs. It was a very nice car. I really liked the sales team. They were pleasant and knowledgeable. The showroom is large, but there isn't a clear "reception area" so you may wander a little at first. the followup from the sales team and the internet team is good without being annoying.

Before reading this review, please realize that I am an Elite Yelper with over 600 reviews…read more Please believe what I say. Now, onto Delacy Ford. I've had a myriad of problems with my vehicle -all of which were not correctly rectified by the service department. From Control arms to sensors they never knew what they were doing. They ordered things incorrectly, parts got lost, incorrect parts ordered, delay, delay, delay, after delay. Glenroy in the service department really doesn't understand what's going on. I spoke with the owner Peter Delacy many times and though he tried his best -his dealership is run by incompetence. When I finally got my car back, they did not charge me, which was wonderful. However, not three hours after I drove off the lot, my AC condenser broke. Coincidence - I think not. The AC condenser was not the problem. I brought the car in for. I took it to my AC guy- he said that it looked like my AC condenser was tampered with. Now I don't know whether the service department here at this dealership did that- because they ate so much money fixing my vehicle?? You know I can't tell. But I will never set foot in that dealership again and I don't think you should either. Be aware, and BEWARE.

Yesterday I took home my Jeep Wrangler Sport, This is the Second time I have purchased a vehicle…read morethrough Transitowne West Seneca within a 3 month period. The first time I came to this dealership I came specifically because of positive reviews of salesmen Glenn Colton. I was not disappointed, I can assure you Glenn will surpass your expectations. That day I was shopping for my girlfriend. We were able to leave the same day with a Jeep Cherokee. (same day delivery on the Wrangler as well) . I came back to buy my personal vehicle because of how flawless the first experience was. Sales Manager Alyssa Witkowski is also very passionate about her position and was able to work with me through the financial portion of the deal and was a pleasure to sit with. Overall The experience at Transitowne West Seneca will be better than other dealerships in our area. I know from experience as I have purchased 5 cars in the last decade and my two most pleasant purchases have been through this dealership. Some extra advice: 1. Do not use just one website for reviews certain sites people only post to when an odd ball situation occurs and they need some where to vent (we all do it). 2. Come prepared- No matter what dealership you go to prepare the best you can to know what others have paid and/or what rebates you qualify for. Know your credit score and debt to income ratio. Be weary of dealership pre-configured finance calculators they will often fill in a down payment to make the payment appear cheaper. Use your own finance calculator that will calculate tax and interest rate.

Buyer Beware - My Sister's Experience at Transit Town (Elma)…read more Sharing this so others don't go through the same thing. My 21-year-old sister had her car towed there because it wouldn't shut off and was stuck in park. After sitting there for a WEEK, they told her it needed a battery... and charged her $550. Problem is--that wasn't the issue. When they were questioned about it, the dealer hung up on my dad twice. They then said it needed more diagnostics (more $$$) and wouldn't release the car unless she paid. No return call from management either. We had it towed to another mechanic... and within ONE MINUTE they found the real problem: A bottle cap stuck in the transmission. Fixed immediately. No charge. There are honest mechanics out there--but this was not one of them. Just a heads up so no one else gets burned.

My downstairs neighbor had an issue with a spark plug on his 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500…read more He had the old plug out but could not get the new one in. Keep in mind it's been mid 20's and windy all day making it harder. Just could not get the plug lined up and threaded properly. It's hard to see the plug hole due to the low location and lack of a direct eye line. When I got home I tried for 20 minutes but also could not get it lined up and started. Enter Pat and Jack Pat: the plugs doesn't go in perpendicular on that engine it's a slightly canted towards the firewall. Jack: try reverse until you feel a slight click as it seats then reverse socket wrench and tighten it down. Maybe this is all common knowledge for auto buffs but I didn't know and also I watched several YouTube videos which were useless. With these two tips I got it in the first attempt as soon as we got back home. I've always had great experiences at auto zone stores. To top it off they give a 10% veteran discount. Much appreciated all around guys. I drove him to a competitor auto parts store to ask for tips getting the new plug in without cross threading. No help. Stopped into this autozone and asked the same questions.

I dropped off 2 camper rims today for new tires I already ordered. I drop them off and owner tells…read moreme they will be done in an hour to hour and a half. I didn't even need them today, but I'll take a quick turnaround. I come back before closing and call on my way (no answer, which is common from my experience) to see if they are staying open as they close at 5pm and it's about 20 minutes til closing. I get there quick with about 10 minutes to spare and the wheels are in the same spot I left them outside. I walk up to them and they didn't do them. Not a huge deal but the owner or manager whatever he is, is outside on the phone. He sees me standing there and waves me off as in "beat it" and barks out "I'll get to them when I get to them, we're busy we'll do em when we do em". I'm confused so I approach him and calmly say "ok I just came back because I knew you were closing and you said an hour to an hour and half." I have zero attitude, I'm not mad, irritated, or annoyed. I'm just trying to have a quick conversation before I head out because that was weird and aggressive. He waves me off again and repeats "I'll get to them when I get to them I'm busy they're not done yet I'll do em when I got time" and he keeps waving me off as if to say "get the hell outta here". His tone was aggressive, this wasn't normal behavior nor was it necessary whatsoever. I said alright I'll just take them now then, because I'm not a real fan of getting yelled at by the disgruntled tire man when I'm being nothing but polite and would have been completely understanding to him not being able to do them if he didn't start barking at me for no reason. His reply was "whatever, good!" and the last thing I said was "this one's on you." Because you sir are the only reason that whole thing went south, not me. I'm the most reasonable person I don't think I've ever left a negative review of a business in my entire life but I was is disbelief at the attitude from this guy the moment he saw me standing there. I'm not one of your kids or employees you just bark at because you're in a bad mood so you decide to take it out on me. It's safe to say I'll never return to this place again and I've literally been going here for as long as I can remember. What a weird unwarranted interaction from this man and whatever is going on in your life to cause you to speak to people so dismissive and aggressively for no reason at all, well I hope it gets better. And while I'm at it, I never complained about the last wheel I brought that your guys damaged so badly I had to bring it elsewhere to get dismounted, repair the rim, and mounted again. But now I'll add that one here as well. Very unprofessionally run business is all I can say.
