A/c wasn't working and Derek fixed it almost immediately. Also got a new alternator installed and battery for a great price

They'll give you a low ball offer to buy a nice truck off you though they'll tell you it's not worth fixing or driving a vehicle so they can buy it's for cheap and flip it probably. Shady mechanics. I'm adding an edit as Kirsten called to leave me a voicemail and tell me I was confused. I am not confused. I remember being offered $700 for my 04 Tacoma because you guys said it was scrap and then putting 10,000 more miles on that vehicle and thinking you all were crazy the whole time I was driving it before I totaled it. Their voicemail was retaliatory at best. There was no reason to call me after I left this review. I gave my feedback. It's a terrible business that this is and I would never recommend my worst enemy to go there. It makes you feel grimy walking in. It's a disgusting place. They're in an alleyway that feels like homeless people regularly pee in front of their front door because of the smell if they call me again I'll add more details so you can know why you should avoid it.

Being new to the area, I had no choice but to pick a repair facility from the net. I chose Kearney Garage. After performing an in depth review, they gave me the ($3,000 in repairs) bad news. I chose the lesser $2,000 option. The good news is the final bill came out to $1,500. They were able to save the existing intake manifold. All in all, a completely satisfactory experience. Especially after coming from Detroit. The automotive capital of the world. My special appreciation goes out to Alex. He was warm, courteous and helpful throughout the entire process. Thanks a lot buddy. The car now runs like a dream. I'll take care of the other repairs at a later date.

I brought my 1975 Corvette to Kearny Garage for an upper-engine rebuild. After nearly three months…read moreof delays and almost $10,000 in costs, I had to tow the car and engine separately to another mechanic. Kearny Garage repeatedly promised to finish the car but failed to do so, overcharged me--including duplicate fees--lost parts I supplied, and damaged existing parts. When the second mechanic completed the work, he found numerous issues with Kearny Garage's repairs, including improperly installed new heads that allowed coolant to leak into the engine and could have destroyed it. Had Kearny Garage completed the work as it was, the engine likely would have failed immediately and required replacement. I then had to spend thousands of dollars correcting Kearny Garage's work, and I was unable to enjoy driving my convertible for months. Kearny Garage presents itself as a locally owned neighborhood auto shop, but it is actually owned by Sun Auto, a national auto service conglomerate. I also learned that the mechanic often takes shortcuts to complete jobs faster than the time billed to customers, and management appears to support that practice. The store manager was arrogant, condescending, and showed little concern for customer service. Fortunately, some locally owned automotive garages remain in the neighborhood and still value customers over profit.
