I have had Aurora Outdoors do several minor projects for me over the years. Christian has been a pleasure to work with, so I just had him tackle a complete remodel of my front yard (about 1/3 acre) as well as an "edit" on my back yard (just close to a complete remake). I was blown away with the results. He completely transformed our outdoor living space, and made it just completely beautiful. Christian and his team just finished installing exterior lighting in our front and backyard, as well as updating some of our front yard landscaping. We are really pleased with the experience and result. From our first contact with Christian, he really listened to our needs and brought in creative, thoughtful, and practical solutions. Beware! We hired Christian last year to put landscape lighting in front of our home. Christian installed lights that he said were great quality and had lifetime warranty. He raved about these lights and the company and that he had been working with them for a long time. Come to find out he buys lights from local store and doesn't actually work directly with the vendor. We have been trying to get the lights replaced because they look awful but Christian cannot find the invoice proving he purchased the lights from a third party even though we requested from him a month ago. During the installation process we had several hiccups such is his guys leaving the wires to each light exposed. When I told Christian he said that is how it is installed and they just clip it down since we have lava rocks. He finally had his guys put the wires under the lava rocks. I would never recommend Christian to anyone. We had our backyard lighting done shortly after by another local company and those lights look brand new and seem to be much better quality. read more

I asked for a bid for lighting in our large backyard (1.3 acres) that had a lot of broken lights among large oak trees. Christian was fabulous about coming out on Memorial Day and not trying to sell us on unnecessary lights or more than needed. He gave us a bid within a day, terrific turn around time.. We haven't had him do any actual work in the yard so I'm holding off on a 5 until I actually decide to hire and use him. But he is very professional, personable and honest. We may not have the budget to hire him right now but we have a decent idea of pricing. read more

I purchased a new home and the turf in the back yard was damaged and requires replacing by the sellers. The prior tenant, without my knowledge, hired Christian to replace it. While I am thrilled it was replaced and the new turf is great and the workers did a fantastic job, I was not informed that it was happening until about 8pm the night before, and the only reason I found out is because my Realator inquired on a status update that night. The workers showed up and started tearing out the old turf. There was no knock on the door, no hello to me, no one said a single word, just started working. After the old turf was up, they left. Again no word was spoken to me. My realtor tracked down Christian's number and I called him. He filled me in, finally. Day 1 was was turf uninstall and day 2 was new turf install. Christian told me the prior tenant was picking up the old turf. Which didn't happened. I told Christian to take it with him the next day after install. Again, that didn't happen. Today Christian wouldn't take my calls, he would only text he was in a meeting and to call Michael, I assume he is the prior tenant, but that has yet to be confirmed. Regardless, I don't know who I'm supposed to call, nor do I have a contact number for him. 3 hours since I tried to call Christian and still no return call. Neither he nor the infamous Michael have taken away the discarded turf. read more

Christian and his team were excellent every step of the way- from the beginning of our project discussing what we wanted, to his creative input. He and his team did everything- the demo, hardscape, landscape and lighting- they can do it all. They were at our house every day, on time and always polite and professional. We thought the price was fair and reasonable for the fantastic work they did, and plan to use him and his team for any future outdoor projects. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a capable, knowledgeable and very creative outdoor landscaping/remodeling team. read more
