They don't choose plants that work well here. Tagawa has so many choices that work well in our dry sunny climates. The manager Chuck gave us a tour and he was so helpful. We ended up buying a few things to replace the big box store plants and will come back.

Tomorrow post will consist of the fake tree warranty, post communication of the owner and how gifting a tree works at this place. The only reason I don't do a full review today is so I can calm down and write it correctly, insane! So, I just read the response again! Told to just wait... every tree in my yard, my neighborhood has grown all but this tree! That is the story you're sticking to! I will post pictures tomorrow, let yelp figure it out. Ok... had it! Done! -----//------ 4th time I was told to just wait. ---------///////--------- See previous post.... I won! I won! I won! I won a stick! I bet the nursery guys the tree was dead... and I won! For the last 6 weeks I get, wait two more weeks, 2... wait two more weeks... 2.... Talked to the owner wait 2 more weeks....6 weeks later and they sent out a very nice man to tell me... it's still alive wait two weeks. I guess what aggravates me most, my new tree could have been planted 6 weeks back, doing what it needs to do to start, get the rain settle, but they had to wait 6 weeks to make sure the stick was dead. You would think during the last 2 weeks someone would reach out and ask, how's the tree... maybe my picture of things are different in this marble we live on.

Tagawa gardens vs Nicks... hands down on Nicks!…read more The support you get with Nicks is second to none, never had an issue and always willing to help! Tagawa gardens I was gifted a tree from my wife's former friend that works there, thought it was nice until the tree was dead... the warranty only works when the owner wants it to work. Then when the owner found out it was a gift from an employee, they decided to refund the money to the employee and leave us with a dead tree. If it wasn't gifted, I would have never gotten a tree from any place other than Nicks....see ya soon! It's important to note I am a 21 year veteran 100% disabled, I can't plant a tree so I need the service, Tagawa knew this and still treated me like crap... not a veteran friendly place.

Next time tell your "security" creep to chill. You lost 2 customers…read more My wife and I went there to see if the tamale guy was there on Sunday, he wasn't so we went in the store to browse around since we have been discussing getting plants and decor for our patio, we made it to the center of the store and approached the succulent display (my wife loves them) and we were discussing which ones to get for our little garden project, then this creepy guy in a black shirt and green cargo pants approaches us and asked "do you need anything?" I simply said "no thank you" and he proceeded to walk away; then I heard him radio in a description of my wife and I and our location within the store. I looked to my wife and asked if she heard that, and she said she did, then informed me he had been following us around keeping himself parallel to us the entire time since the moment we walked in. Talk about profiling....to explain this; I am a man that has a lot of tattoos (from my head to arms, neck, etc), shaved head, and a beard, so I'm use to the weird looks but to be stalked in a store like this with my wife was grossly bothersome and then to blatantly describe us on the radio in depth right next to us in a low tone instantly gave me big red flags. He had no badge or identification either to tell us if he actually was security or an employee, or if it was just some creep stalking people in the store on his own terms. Regardless I'm not going to chance it when I'm with my wife, so needless to say we immediately left after feeling immensely uncomfortable. We will not be going back, and to those that enjoy tattoos and art the way I do, just know I doubt you'll be greeted appropriately; just stalked and creeped on. I don't steal, I'm VERY polite, patient and understanding, I work in mental health and run several facilities. Just because I enjoy wearing my art, shouldn't label me as a criminal. Very disappointing, back to Home Depot I guess....

I am in Denver and looking for a company to rent a trimmer and found them online. I called and spoke to Danny. They offered to deliver (for FREE) but I was in the area so I stopped by. Boy am I glad I did! They not only had the trimmer I needed but they had many other ones! He explained to me some of the differences between wet & dry trimmers and took the time to teach me some tricks and tips for each one. I ended up switching from the original one I wanted and chose the T2 Twister Tandem thanks to his recommendation, and it cut our trimming time in more than half! The machine was provided to us looking brand new, it was cleaned and maintained to perfection and worked flawlessly for us. When I called him to thank him and to see when I could drop it off, he insisted on picking it up. I told him that I needed some things I had seen in his showroom (scissors, gloves, dry racks, bags) so it would be better if I went in. He asked me what it was I needed. Emailed me his full catalog. I called back told him the things I wanted and they came with all my stuff and picked up the trimmer. This is what customer service should be like! I will use using them for all our needs and will tell everyone about the great experience we had with them.

During my home renovation, I've been to this Home Depot many times since it's only about a mile…read moreaway. For the most part, the staff has been incredibly helpful, which is why I continue to shop here. Recently, I needed finish nails for a nail gun I had just purchased. On two separate occasions, I asked for help and was recommended the wrong gauge, even after explaining that the initial suggestion was not compatible with my gun. As a result, I ended up making multiple unnecessary trips. When I came in on today to return the nails, Phil at the return desk was professional and helpful from the start. Unfortunately, the assistant manager on duty around 5:20 PM, who I believe was named Tina, handled the situation very poorly. She opened one of the boxes, saw the Styrofoam covering the nails, and immediately said it could not be returned without even checking underneath it. After I asked her to actually look under the Styrofoam, she did, saw the nails were unused, and still refused the return, while oddly saying she would accept the other identical box. That made no sense. What was most disappointing was her response when I explained that I was only returning both boxes because I had been given the wrong recommendation twice by store staff. I had even brought my nail gun with me this time to avoid a third mistake. Her response was, 'It's your job to know your gun better.' That was unnecessarily rude, dismissive, and far below the level of customer service I would expect from an assistant manager at Home Depot. Thankfully, Nikki and Ronnie, who I believe is the Customer Experience Manager, completely turned the experience around. Ronnie spent about 10 minutes with me going through different nail sizes and physically checking them with my tool to make sure I left with the correct product this time. Both he and Nikki were professional, patient, and genuinely helpful. Honestly, employees like Ronnie and Nikki are the reason I continue coming to this Home Depot instead of going to Lowe's down the street. If my experience had ended with the assistant manager at the return desk, I likely would not be coming back. It was disappointing to see a cashier and another manager demonstrate a much higher standard of professionalism, care, and customer service than the assistant manager herself. 10/5 starts for Ronnie and Niki 0/5 for (Tina?) and her customer professionalism
