I just got back from my septum piercing with Auric Adornments and I'm really glad I went with them. Marshall (the owner - been in business 25 years!) was very welcoming, professional and a great communicator; I felt well educated before the piercing took place and after. I also received a great aftercare email and feel well set up to heal. The piercing itself was expert; I felt very brief pain at the insertion and in the shift from needle to jewelry, but considerably less intense than I was expecting and very quick. I made an appointment online and was intending to get my septum re-pierced after years of not wearing any jewelry in it, I assumed the hole has closed. Marshall took a look and to both of our surprise, the hole was still open and so I bought a couple septum rings from the large selection of options and had him put one in for me. I also ended up getting my rook on my left ear pierced since I drove from Sacramento and had the intention of getting a piercing done anyway. Oh my god marshall is AMAZING. I cant say that enough. Awhile back i got my septum pierced at emerald tattoo and piercings over in Lodi. They messed up and pierced my cartilage which caused it not to heal. Well, i found Marshall and he explained what was wrong and said it might be saved and changed it to something else hoping it was just my skin giving a bad reaction. Nope. I had to take it out anyways. BUT luckily a month and a half later i went in to get my bridge bar changed and i decided to get a repierce. He redid my septum and its perfect now! It healed, it doesnt hurt anymore, no more irritation bumps, etc. I will always go to him for piercings after that. He also did my bridge piercing and it does have a couple issues with healing as expected but its going good ! read more

I was going to get oral piercings, but when my appointment came the person that was going to do my piercings warned me about how they would erode my enamel and gums. Do not go anywhere else! I came in to buy replacement jewelry for my recent septum piercing (that I got pierced elsewhere) and Marshall was so helpful in replacing my jewelry for me. It was a little uncomfortable, because whoever did my piercing pierced through my cartilage and it hasn't healed the best, but he did it so well and was so patient swapping it out not once but twice.
