Anjelica saved the day! After receiving an eyelash extension botch job from another lash tech, Anjelica accommodated me for a lash removal. I was leaving for a trip abroad in just a few days, and Anjelica fit me into her schedule. The lashes that the previous lash tech had done had left my eyes completely swollen, irritated, and inflamed. Anjelica had so much care, compassion, and attention to detail. The removal was a bit painful, because the previous lash tech had applied the lashes incorrectly, and with a glue that was unrecognizable to a professional lash tech like Anjelica. It turns out that the previous "lash tech" had been working without the proper training or license, and absolutely wrecked my natural lashes, and gotten the cement like glue adhered all over my lash line as well. First off she gets 5 stars because before I even became a client she helped put me in contact with the masseuse I had been trying to contact even though I called "The Small Spa" by mistake. Anyway my experience....Kind and informative. Anjelica provided a friendly experience rather then just and apointment time slot. It felt more like hanging out with a friend at a spa even though I went alone. As a first timer I liked that she explained what she was applying as she applied each product and what sort of "sensation" to expect if any. She is very thorough and professional. By the way....I am a guy and the idea of a facial seemed, hmmmm let's say not manly but I tried this based on a recommendation from a friend and still being a bit skeptical I made the appointment but I'm glad I did. I do a lot of outdoor activities that usually get me covered with dirt and sweat and this helped clean up my face (clean my pores) and bring some less weathered youth back to my skin. New to town and tried to make an appointment. She told me she had a certain date and time that was open and I told her that it worked for me. Then she asked for pictures of my lashes which I told her I could send later. She said she wanted to see if my lashes were healthy enough for extensions. Even though I had explained that I have been getting extensions for over two years with no problems. But I send the photos and then she messages back saying she's all booked up for weeks and to go to somewhere else. Seems very unprofessional. If I were in her shoes I would of communicated that the schedule is so packed when she first gave me the appointment time. Total waste of time. read more
