Aurelio's Pizza is my favorite pizza. And the pies that the Richton Park establishment makes are solid. Of the three options near by (Homewood Chicago Heights and Richton Park) Richton always wins the second place red ribbon for me, but it's awful hard to beat Homewood. read more

It's been 20 years since I've ordered food from this particular location. It is not because the food wasn't good, but another one opened nearer to my parent's home. I'm glad we are back. We ordered a small vegetable pizza and three Italian beef sandwiches. The food was delicious! The pizza was loaded with fresh veggies and very cheesy! It was so loaded that two slices did the trick. My husband loved the Italian beef. I tasted it and agree 100% with him. The peppers were spicy and sweet and complimented the beef. The sandwiches also came with a side of chips. BTW, this location has a drive-up window so you don't need to leave your car to pick up your order. It's not only convenient but safe. Call in your order and then pick it up. Sweet! read more

Meh. I've experienced better, and we expect better for our money. The Aurelio's manager's attitude on Saturday, September 8th, 2025, was basically "no big deal" to the order being 10 minutes late. But, what he failed to understand was - it put the entire process at risk. 1. I had to stop the class, step out, and call Aurelio to check the order. Then had to step out several more times to deal with Aurelio requesting the payment info. 2. The 10 minute delay in the process on Aurelio side did not allow the pizzas the standard processing time. So, by the time the pizza arrived, the cheese had melted and merged together (probably due to the pizza heat in the box), creating cheese pulling away from the crust. 3. The crust was not done, causing even more issues in separating a piece of pizza from one another. 4. In the driver's haste to arrive with the pizza caused the pizzas to shift from the crust and caused the cheese to stick to the box as if the driver had dropped the pizzas several times. We placed a pizza order a day in advance to avoid these issues. read more

We shared we do not live close by. He did not care. He was rude and inconsiderate. Worst experience with this location. Will not patronize them again. I've been an Aurelio's customer for more than 25 years, and they are still able to get it right, time after time. Ordered a fiesta size thin crust with half cheese, half sausage today and requested it to be cooked light, after having a time or two of getting pizzas that were still good, but too over cooked for my family's liking. The gentleman on the phone told me that he would make sure it was cooked light, how we wanted it. He most certainly did make sure it was cooked right. This pizza was perfect. One of the best Aurelio's pizzas we've ever had. Half of it did not even make it out of the parking lot and on the road back home, because we could not stop eating it. It was that good. Some people might prefer their thin crust pizza to be laid on thick, which can be good with a little doctoring up (parmesan, red pepper flake, garlic, & Italian seasoning are a MUST for that laid on thick pizza), but Aurelio's pizza does not NEED anything else added. Our pizza was piping hot, savory, pleasingly salty (in a seasoned, flavorful sort of way), slightly sweet from the sauce, with perfectly melted, dense, and gooey cheese, all atop of a lightly crisp, pillowy, doughy crust. And that crispy edge?? It doesn't get any better. This is thin crust pizza at it's finest. From coast to coast very few places I've ever had even come close. Aurelio's pizza really is in a league of its' own. The sauce and crust are so unique and there is no substitute that I've found. Tip: Request your thin crust pizza cooked light. On Saturday, May 4, 2019 I called and ordered a pizza from this site. I had visited the site on-line to calculate the cost. I called to order the pizza with three ingredients and was quoted a price of $26.25 (19.25 chesse, and 6.00 for the three extra ingredients). I asked the guy taking the order if it would be in my name since I had someone else coming to actually pick the pizza up. I asked if the pizza could be prepared for pick-up in an hour since the person picking up was coming from work. He assured me that it would be no problem. I also had a $10 off coupon it the purchase price was a minimum of $25. I had the person to stop by the house and pick up the discount card in route to Aurelio's. Upon his arrival I received a call from him informing me that Aurelio's did not have the pizza ready because they had not received an order from me. He was willing to order a pizza after taking the time to leave work, come by the house and then proceed to the pizza place. I told him no. The pizza place obviously did not need his money and in no way was I going to re-order the same pizza that I had just ordered a little over an hour ago. The silver lining is that I called back and spoke with the Manager Kevin to voice my complaint. He listened and asked me if he could resolve the matter by "buying me a pizza and when would I like for it to be ready." Now that is what I call customer service. I am much impressed. read more

This was my first experience and first experience calling for delivery from this restaurant. I ordered a thin-crust sausage pizza and 'dinner salad'. When I received my order - (timing was OK - I didn't wait too long), I first noticed that the salad was very small (actually this would be described as a lunch side-salad) - which contained iceberg lettuce a few onions and what seemed to be canned or jarred red pepper. Pre ordered pizza from here but the pizza never came. I called to complain and the delivery driver rudely told me he was here but there was tape on the doorbell (when it's clearly another doorbell). My family gets pizza every Friday. Last Friday 06/10/16 I noticed a flyer in the mail that said Aurelio's delivers to the area. So I called and placed an order. I was told my large thin crust pizza would be delivered within an hour. The pizza was late, and it tasted awful. It tasted like someone poured a container of salt all over it. It was inedible. I was shocked and disappointed. I work for a non-profit and we order Aurelio's pizza (in large quantities) for various events and fundraisers. But we order from the location in South Holland. While I was talking to my mother on the phone the pizza came so I told her I would talk to her later. About 10minutes later my mom called and said that the pizza tasted weird and her stomach was cramping. So I called Aurelio's to explain what my mom was experiencing the young man took my contact information and Tracey the manager call and told me she had talk to corporate, and corporate said that I had to take my mom to a hospital and have a stool sample and submit a claim for a $24 dollar pizza hahaha really. So I called cooperate left message. So the manager called and said the exact same thing Tracey said that I needed to take my mom to the hospital and have a stool sample and submit a claim to Aurelio's insurance to make good on a $24 dollar. We go to this Aurelios all of the time and it never changes, hands down great pizza.

It's always been good pizza to me. I've had better in the city. But, it's one of the best in Richton Park to me.
