The cheese is weird today. I usually order at least once a week it's always good but not today. The worst looking and tasting pizza I've had in a long time. The service was not any better could barely hear the guy on the phone might be new. Perhaps better training read more

Aurelio's Pizza - Hard cheese pizza with no sauce on either side - Pizza Near Me - Richton Park, Illinois

This place always had lackluster service. Everything to ordering on the buggy website, being left on hold for over 10 mins, to the indifferent customer service. Avoid this location if possible. read more

Aurelio's Pizza is my favorite pizza. And the pies that the Richton Park establishment makes are solid. Of the three options near by (Homewood Chicago Heights and Richton Park) Richton always wins the second place red ribbon for me, but it's awful hard to beat Homewood. read more

It's been 20 years since I've ordered food from this particular location. It is not because the food wasn't good, but another one opened nearer to my parent's home. I'm glad we are back. We ordered a small vegetable pizza and three Italian beef sandwiches. The food was delicious! The pizza was loaded with fresh veggies and very cheesy! It was so loaded that two slices did the trick. My husband loved the Italian beef. I tasted it and agree 100% with him. The peppers were spicy and sweet and complimented the beef. The sandwiches also came with a side of chips. BTW, this location has a drive-up window so you don't need to leave your car to pick up your order. It's not only convenient but safe. Call in your order and then pick it up. Sweet! read more

I've NEVER liked their pizza. Not enough toppings, sauce and the crust is super thin that you can barely pick it up. Anytime someone else has ordered from them (because I never have) it's always the same disappointment. That's why I e personally never order from them and never will. read more

Meh. I've experienced better, and we expect better for our money. The Aurelio's manager's attitude on Saturday, September 8th, 2025, was basically "no big deal" to the order being 10 minutes late. But, what he failed to understand was - it put the entire process at risk. 1. I had to stop the class, step out, and call Aurelio to check the order. Then had to step out several more times to deal with Aurelio requesting the payment info. 2. The 10 minute delay in the process on Aurelio side did not allow the pizzas the standard processing time. So, by the time the pizza arrived, the cheese had melted and merged together (probably due to the pizza heat in the box), creating cheese pulling away from the crust. 3. The crust was not done, causing even more issues in separating a piece of pizza from one another. 4. In the driver's haste to arrive with the pizza caused the pizzas to shift from the crust and caused the cheese to stick to the box as if the driver had dropped the pizzas several times. We placed a pizza order a day in advance to avoid these issues. read more

Our pizza was made wrong. We called to let them know when we got home and was told by the manager we could bring the pizza back or they would send a certificate for us half off. We shared we do not live close by. He did not care. He was rude and inconsiderate. Worst experience with this location. Will not patronize them again. We plan to call the corporate store first thing tomorrow. read more

I've been an Aurelio's customer for more than 25 years, and they are still able to get it right, time after time. Ordered a fiesta size thin crust with half cheese, half sausage today and requested it to be cooked light, after having a time or two of getting pizzas that were still good, but too over cooked for my family's liking. The gentleman on the phone told me that he would make sure it was cooked light, how we wanted it. He most certainly did make sure it was cooked right. This pizza was perfect. One of the best Aurelio's pizzas we've ever had. Half of it did not even make it out of the parking lot and on the road back home, because we could not stop eating it. It was that good. Some people might prefer their thin crust pizza to be laid on thick, which can be good with a little doctoring up (parmesan, red pepper flake, garlic, & Italian seasoning are a MUST for that laid on thick pizza), but Aurelio's pizza does not NEED anything else added. Our pizza was piping hot, savory, pleasingly salty (in a seasoned, flavorful sort of way), slightly sweet from the sauce, with perfectly melted, dense, and gooey cheese, all atop of a lightly crisp, pillowy, doughy crust. And that crispy edge?? It doesn't get any better. This is thin crust pizza at it's finest. From coast to coast very few places I've ever had even come close. Aurelio's pizza really is in a league of its' own. The sauce and crust are so unique and there is no substitute that I've found. Tip: Request your thin crust pizza cooked light. Keeps the cheese gooey, crust chewy, and both with that light, signature crispiness to them. read more

On Saturday, May 4, 2019 I called and ordered a pizza from this site. I had visited the site on-line to calculate the cost. I called to order the pizza with three ingredients and was quoted a price of $26.25 (19.25 chesse, and 6.00 for the three extra ingredients). I asked the guy taking the order if it would be in my name since I had someone else coming to actually pick the pizza up. I asked if the pizza could be prepared for pick-up in an hour since the person picking up was coming from work. He assured me that it would be no problem. I also had a $10 off coupon it the purchase price was a minimum of $25. I had the person to stop by the house and pick up the discount card in route to Aurelio's. Upon his arrival I received a call from him informing me that Aurelio's did not have the pizza ready because they had not received an order from me. He was willing to order a pizza after taking the time to leave work, come by the house and then proceed to the pizza place. I told him no. The pizza place obviously did not need his money and in no way was I going to re-order the same pizza that I had just ordered a little over an hour ago. The silver lining is that I called back and spoke with the Manager Kevin to voice my complaint. He listened and asked me if he could resolve the matter by "buying me a pizza and when would I like for it to be ready." Now that is what I call customer service. I am much impressed. read more

Never had a bad Pizza always friendly staff also has a drive-thru pick up overall good pizza can't go wrong.

This was my first experience and first experience calling for delivery from this restaurant. I ordered a thin-crust sausage pizza and 'dinner salad'. When I received my order - (timing was OK - I didn't wait too long), I first noticed that the salad was very small (actually this would be described as a lunch side-salad) - which contained iceberg lettuce a few onions and what seemed to be canned or jarred red pepper. They charged $8.99 for this salad. Really? The pizza was not a thin crust pizza; it was a regular crust pizza. The flavor was OK. I will never order from this establishment again as the salad was overpriced and low quality and the pizza was not thin crust as I ordered. No napkins,or parmesan cheese and pepper - either. Please guys - go to cooking school and find out what a dinner salad and thin crust sausage pizza really is! read more

I called to place an order and a new girl answered the phone. I told her I had a coupon. I was ordering the special. She was very unsure of herself and I repeated order at least twice. Another girl got on the phone, I told her I had a coupon and was ordering the special. She EVEN helped me get to $25.00 to use coupon and had to repeat order twice again. A man gave us our pizza when we arrived and charged us full price because coupon could not be used with special. I told him I told TWO girls that we had a coupon. I told him to keep the coupon and we may not use the other one we have. If I could give zero stars - I Would! If we want Aurelio's, we will go to Homewood from now on! read more

I ordered a large thin crust and hot wings for delivery last night. The delivery time and delivery charge was good, but the pizza was not. It arrived warm. The pizza tasted sweet, as if american cheese was on it. The pizza sauce was gross. The hotwings were literally fried chicken pieces (that tasted as if they came from a box) with a side of hot sauce. Also, the beef options for my regular thin crust were only italian beef. i wasted 33.00 bucks. I will not order from this place again. read more

Pre ordered pizza from here but the pizza never came. I called to complain and the delivery driver rudely told me he was here but there was tape on the doorbell (when it's clearly another doorbell). The manager gets on the phone and said that they called but noticed the number in their system was incorrect. I've been going here for years, that's impossible when my address is attached to the phone number. I was offered only a rush delivery of a new pizza. NO ONE EVER APOLOGIZED. We order a take out for Sunday's dinner. A large sausage and pepperoni. The pizza was overly salty and the crust was old and hard! I will not recommend this pace to any one!!!! We paid 27.00! This is the worst pizza ever. I do not understand why they have several locations. I probably would not have been too bad if they hadn't added so much sharp cheddar cheese to my cheese pizza. That's right I ordered a large thin crust cheese pizza, and all I tasted was sharp cheddar. I don't want any cheddar on my pizza. Per chance they can put up a sign stating that they use mostly cheddar cheese and only traces amounts of mozarella cheese. read more

I've been coming here for years. I love it. It's hard finding any sort of "chain" that is family owned nowadays. For the people posting negative reviews because they had an order get messed up; news flash for you - ITS THE FOOD INDUSTRY. IT HAPPENS. GET OVER YOURSELF. Has this location made mistakes to my orders over the 20 years I've been coming here? Sure. But did they fix it every time without a hassle? Absolutely. Pizza Hut, Domino's, and Papa John's all share a common trait; they're chains that are managed by a corporate office located out of state. Aurelio's is owned by locals; and the difference is quite apparent. read more

My family gets pizza every Friday. Last Friday 06/10/16 I noticed a flyer in the mail that said Aurelio's delivers to the area. So I called and placed an order. I was told my large thin crust pizza would be delivered within an hour. The pizza was late, and it tasted awful. It tasted like someone poured a container of salt all over it. It was inedible. I was shocked and disappointed. I work for a non-profit and we order Aurelio's pizza (in large quantities) for various events and fundraisers. But we order from the location in South Holland. This was the first time we've had pizza from the Richton Park location, and unfortunately it seems like it will be the last. read more

Hi my name is Andrea. I been ordering pizza from Aurelio's pizza for over 7 years. Today I order a medium sausage pizza for lunch for my mom around 12:30. While I was talking to my mother on the phone the pizza came so I told her I would talk to her later. About 10minutes later my mom called and said that the pizza tasted weird and her stomach was cramping. So I called Aurelio's to explain what my mom was experiencing the young man took my contact information and Tracey the manager call and told me she had talk to corporate, and corporate said that I had to take my mom to a hospital and have a stool sample and submit a claim for a $24 dollar pizza hahaha really. So I called cooperate left message. So the manager called and said the exact same thing Tracey said that I needed to take my mom to the hospital and have a stool sample and submit a claim to Aurelio's insurance to make good on a $24 dollar. So sad! read more

It's always been good pizza to me. I've had better in the city. But, it's one of the best in Richton Park to me.

We go to this Aurelios all of the time and it never changes, hands down great pizza.
