Hey Aurelio's...what happened ? The 3 of us stopped in for the buffet tonight at 7pm and surprise.... there was none. Everything in the buffet was close to empty and there were only 6 old slices each of the 3 pizzas available . The waitress then combined them to make 1/2 a pizza . No more pizza showed up . I thought I would have a brownie but there was three of us and only 1 brownie . The killer was our bill was $38 that I had to walk into the kitchen to pay our server because she was too busy on her phone . read more

This is the place we usually order gluten free pizzas from, as there aren't many that carry GF yet. Once again, our order was messed up. Then when we called back to let them know, the person we talked to on the phone was rude and proceeded to argue with us that the order was correct. Probably wont be ordering from there again. A little disappointed, we've had it before from different locations. We ordered a thick crust for carry out, waited inside several minutes to be acknowledged. Anyway service is whatever my real problem was with the pizza. I think they over cooked it. The crust was rock hard. It was like eating cereal that cuts the inside of your mouth. Anyway, we won't be back anytime soon, unfortunately! We were both really looking forward to it and now wish we could only remember the other locations experiences. read more

I am not a big fan of Aurelio's until they came to Plainfield. This particular franchise serves great pizza. The ingredients are fresh, the garlic bread with cheese is to die for! Well we dined in today for the first time and we always do carry out and it was awful ! I paid 105 dollars 3 cheesy beef and 1 chicken alfredo and a pizza and 4 pops . The cheesy beefs we're so chewy I couldn't get it down my throat and the chicken alfredo was so blind it was like eating gray matter but the pizza was good so I'm never going back and that includes carry out . read more

Best pizza in Peoria- no other place is even close for outstanding pizza. Most locals think Papa Johns or Dominos have great pizza and obviously have not been to Chicago. Anyway, Peoria is a pizza desert, but central Illinois has 2 top rated places: Aurelio's and Rosati's in Normal. While I love all varieties of pizza in the Chicago area, Aurelio's is one of the best if you like a sweet sauce and lots of taste. It is perplexing why the Chicago area has soooo many awesome pizza places to choose from and most other places in the US are a "pizza desert" and their pizza is awful. Why can't some places get ANY of the great places in the Chicago area? Anyway, love Aurelio's and happy Peoria has at least one place with ultimate pizza. read more

I'm biased. I have been eating Aurelio's pizza since I was eight years old in Chicago Heights. The pizza is fantastic, period. Is Aurelio's more expensive than Pizza Hut and Dominoes? Yup. Is there a reason? You bet. If you know real pizza, you'll love Aurelio's.The real difference in Plainfield is Mike the owner and his staff. They are always friendly and helpful. I have an Aurelio's closer to my home, but I drive 10 extra minutes to go here. Great for dine in or take-out, Great lunch and dinner buffets during the week, for under $10! Let me start.. by saying I am an Aurelio's junkie! I love Aurelio's! I have probably tried Aurelio's at 15-20 locations in the greater Chicago area and I USED to love the Plainfield location, especially the evening buffets. There has been a step change in quality of the pizza at this location, and a change that is not for the better. I went to the pizza buffet last week and was extremely disappointed. Aurelio's is all about the sauce... but each pizza here that was on the buffet was almost entirely lacking in terms of sauce. The amount of toppings (particularly the cheese) was subpar. I felt like it was eating at a bargain buffet rather than the strong tradition of Aurelio's. In general, their pizzas have gotten thinner and thinner and quite frankly, I am very disappointed in what has become of my "hometown" Aurelio's at 143rd and Rt 30. I steer you to the Lockport location if you want a better Aurelio's pizza for the price. In the past, I have written rave reviews of Aurelio's... and at this location, but something has changed. I am getting much less pizza for the same or higher price. As painful as it is for me to admit it, you can get a better value somewhere else. I hope this place can restore the quality of its pizza.. and start putting more sauce back on.. and piling on the cheese... like they USED to do. read more

Horrible Service!!!!!! NEVER again will I be ordering from them! It took well over an hour and a half to get my over $30 cold and hard pizza! I was quoted 45 minutes for the delivery time! When the pizza arrived I called and complained to the manager Joe and he said they would credit the pizza under my phone number for the next time I ordered. I called today to get that pizza and the owner argued with me basically just calling me short of a liar about the credit for the pizza. I explained everything that happened that night and he still hassled me and said he would only give me 1/2 off! I already paid full price for a pizza that couldn't be eaten and now you want to charge me again??? You are out of your mind!!! I finally just told him to keep his pizza and I will make everyone I know aware of the situation and the service the owner provided. It's pretty bad when that's the owner of the store! From now on Cemeno's will have our business!!! I would suggest everyone find a different pizza place of this is how he treats the community!
