I've been to MindFuel twice now!…read more The first time, was just to walk in and learn about the space! We got acquainted with one of the owners, Hanna, who offered so much information and for us to come try a class! The second time was to try a class (open flow) on 9.5 at 10:30! It was such a good experience which made me purchase a membership! Looking forward to the next class.

The main floor is open for classes & then you go downstairs for the saunas and cold plunge tubs. There are locked rooms, changing rooms, showers, towels, water, etc. Even bags for your wet clothing afterwards - love those small details. The sauna is large and holds about 12 people which allows plenty of space for each person. There are 4 cold plunge tubs with varying temperatures. I went in the sauna in 20 minute increments and in the cold plunge for 30 second increments! I'm proud of myself lol. The physical and mental feeling afterwards is pretty incredible. I'll definitely be booking my next session in the evening so that I can come home and go straight to bed because of relaxes and tension-less you feel. I really want to come back and do a class, like breath work, before an open flow session. I think a breath work class would help me with the cold plunge!

It seems that they can only take one or two guests at a time. There is a changing room with robes and slippers and you also get wine while you get ready. There is a sauna there too. The first part was the scalp analysis which was really cool and gross to see up close lol. Then you move over to the head spa where the treatment begins the tables that you lay on massages and are heated. You also get a cold, weighted eye mask to wear. The treatment consisted of a lot of rubbing my scalp and combing my hair. It honestly felt amazing but a little too hard as my scalp was sore that evening. The experience ended with a blowout, which honestly was amazing and my hair looked incredible. I really enjoyed the head spa treatment and I definitely want to try that again. The interesting part of this experience was the staff honestly, they were friendly and definitely tried to make us feel comfortable however, they were very unprofessional, specifically the stylist that my friend had. The conversations that were had and topics that were brought up between the two stylists and brought up to me and my friend (customers) were inappropriate. Additionally, the head spa treatment for two people is listed on their website as an 80 minute session. My friend and I were there for THREE hours. How??? It probably had to do with the fact that our two stylists never stopped talking to each other during the entire appointment. This definitely took away from the relaxing experience I was hoping for. So overall, the treatment was good and I liked it. The ambiance and experience, not the best. Would I return? I would probably try another place first but this place isn't off my list. Maybe different stylists would help.

They were both extremely kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable and cared for throughout my visit. The spa itself is beautiful, clean, and has such a relaxing atmosphere. I really loved that it isn't a typical spa office setting. It's located in an older Victorian-style home in Shadyside, which gives it a unique and cozy feel that adds to the overall experience. Even the front desk staff (I believe her name was Laura) was so welcoming and friendly. Everyone I interacted with made me feel right at home. I originally came in because I had a gift card, but after such a great experience, I will definitely be returning for future massages and facials. Highly recommend!

I felt like all my concerns were addressed and I left feeling relaxed with glowing skin. I would return!

Upon entering we were asked if we had socks, we did not, the staff did provide us with socks. It would be a little hard to walk in the cave without them, so that's understandable. Once we entered the cave we were mesmerized at how beautiful and peaceful it was. The owner informed us that most of the salt was imported in and spent many days at sea, how cool. We were covered in a couple large blankets since it does get cold in there. During our session we both fell asleep and felt great upon waking. Cannot wait to come back!

Aside from the unprofessional method of strictly texting to do business, when my daughter phoned, she was spoken to very rudely and abruptly. Bad, bad, bad business ethics and horrible people skills! And oh, she used fowl language too. Would not use this place again!

The experience itself was nice, and definitely got the job done (40 minute infrared sauna season) luckily I brought my Bluetooth headphones, the silence for 40 minutes would have killed me. A few things I wish were a bit different, I would have loved to have a cold towel for after my session. Nothing is worse than sweating profusely for 40 minutes then trying to shove yourself into jeans, doesn't work too nicely. Also, it would have been great to have somewhat of a "relax room" to chill out in for a bit before heading out, with fresh water or something. All in all for the price, and the location I would highly recommend this place. Also, the owner was super kind and informative.

A huge plus is that the chairs are wide and comfortable even for me as a plus size person (which is sadly not the case in many spas and healing centers). It is amazing how quick the time flies when in there. My most recent visit was after spending time outdoors during a bad flare up of the Canadian wildfires. I almost felt like I had grit in my lungs and was frequently using my inhaler. I won't say the salt caved was a miracle cure, but I did leave feeling some relief from the discomfort and breathing a little easier. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
