(Which seems to be missing from the valley) It's pieces of those things, but not really a "cafe" of sorts. - - Basically, think of a meal prep place. They're making meals that you can warm up in 90 seconds. Meal plans - if you're not into cooking and/or prepping your own meals, you can sign up for plans that allow you to pick up a certain number of meals throughout the week. The types of meals change every week Additionally, they are also a coffee shop using a roaster called Tony's Coffee. Whole beans for sale, too. Getting in and out of the parking lot is a little awkward. If you're coming from Palmer on your way to Wasilla, it's perfect. But if you need to head back to Palmer after leaving, it's a little tricky. When my schedule gets busy and I don't have time to cook, I will definitely be back.

When I went Jennifer took my coffee order and it was delicious! Karma cafe has prepped meals for sale as well as meal plans for each month. They have labels on every meal with the macros. The meals change pretty much weekly from what I've seen and they keep their facebook page updated. Great for gym goers or people who need some good healthy food in a pinch! Definitely going back.

This review is written from the perspective of someone who has worked in a successful cat cafe,…read moresimilar if not the exact same type of experience to cafe guests, lounge visitors, and potential adopters. The cafe side was wonderful, extremely yummy coffee with great service. The cat lounge, now of course getting to spend time with some lovely kitties while relaxing music plays is a 5-star experience, however, there are a few areas where they could do better to enhance the experience for guests as well as the kitties. 1) There were A LOT of people (12) for our time slot in comparison to kitties in the room and seating capacity. That's not only overwhelming for the kitties but also the guests. 2) Kiddos of all ages are allowed, which is great for the kids, but at the same time, the safety and wellbeing of the cats should have been kept in mind making this decision. Having a minimum age seems to be more reasonable than allowing all ages and expecting parents to adequately monitor their children at all times. 3) There was a single "cat concierge" in the room with the group of 12 for our timeslot, this group was more or less 50% kiddos. The "cat concierge" seemed to be expected to monitor the kitties, monitor guests and remind us of rules (more so kiddos), take phone calls, and mess with their phone all at the same time. One thing that ended up bothering me was when I asked if the cats were adoptable and how many adoptions they had helped facilitate since opening and the gal was hesitant to answer the question, as to spare the feelings of the kids in the room, and acted like the questions were a burden? 4) The room was COLD, kitties are happiest and safest in temps of 68°F to 77°F and even warmer for kittens, which there were many of. 5) It seems the partner adoption services and the cafe could do a better job at prequalifying their kitties to be placed at the cafe. There was one cat who was not happy to be around other cats. I'm sure most cat people understand that an upset kitty is not just a liability for harm to other kitties but also to humans who may unknowingly end up in between the beef. Overall, decent experience, but don't think we will be back unless there are changes to their operations or until we are specifically looking to adopt another kitty.

Not all who wander are lost…read more This is the best lil gem hidden on main st. Its a older possibly historic building. That being said, spots are limited. However, they also have carry out! I've been here quite a few times as this turns out to be my one of my family's favorite spots ( I was having lunch with my son and mother, then my older brother walks in, so family lunch together.) My favorite has to be the pioneer sandwich! Its big enough for 2 to split so you can save room for their soup! I had a few different ones since I moved here to big lake, and each soup special is better then the next, I enjoyed the lemon/chicken/orzo/spinach soup yesterday... and im still thinking about it today... After all this food, since it was so light and fresh, i didn't even need a nap after. And with the breakfast sandwich's, burritos, & wonderful coffee in Wasilla! This place is becoming a needed daily experience. Your staff makes the experience of waiting like a vulture for a table so delightful. They are all doing such a great job for your business. Thank you wandering cafe!

It's a great place to stop for your morning coffee and also to get breakfast or lunch! The staff is super friendly and the service is very fast! We got the breakfast burrito and the avocado grilled cheese. Both were so cheesy and super yummy! I wish the grilled cheese had a sausage or turkey option instead of just bacon as it would make it 10x better! (I'm not a fan of pork meat) but even with it, it was delicious! I live right down the street so I'll definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu!

It's a strange little cafe, part of a hotel (have never stayed at the Hotel though) Palmer is kind…read moreof quirky (to me, as an English person) and I love being able to see the water tower from the windows, which screams old town America, like I used to see in movies. Lots of booths and tables, quite a big dining room. It's not fancy. But it's always busy. It's very affordable. We often used to come for just a piece of pie, and they had a delicious blueberry pie, which unfortunately wasn't offered the other night when I was there. I don't care too much for banana cream this or chocolate chess that - they're just too sweet for me, I'm not that much of a dessert person. I was sort of hoping they might have pumpkin pie, as it's almost that time but they didn't have any. I try to have it at least once or twice in fall. I went for the least offensive option which in this case was apple pie. I went for a la mode, and as the server had trouble understanding my accent (happens a lot) I gave her my best American accent of a la mode, which made her laugh. I googled why having ice cream on your pie is called a la mode, because apparently, USA is the only country that uses this term anymore. A la mode, literally translates to in the fashion. A strange term to describe ice cream on your pie. Anyway, I don't know why I got it, as I don't really like solid ice cream, I like it when it gets melty, or to be honest, I would rather have had heavy cream, but rarely does a restaurant or cafe offer that as an option, like you'd get in England. The pie came, it was huge, and there was a half gallon of ice cream on it. I gave it to husband, and he put it on top of his cheesecake, after scraping off the whipped cream, and giving that to me. This was whipped cream from a can I believe, as it's very aerated. The pie was pretty good and nicely spiced with cinnamon, which husband objected to. He said it had a little too much in, but I liked it. One of the strangest things about the menu - which is pretty extensive by the way, are the prices. There are no round numbers, and the cents are never the same either. I assume this is because of the sales tax? Like one thing might be $4.33, then something else will be $7.59 so that when they ring it up and add the sales tax, it comes out at a nice round number? Is that right? Anyway, no complaints, you can always get a seat, service is prompt and friendly, and there's great views from the window seats.
