I've been wanting to try this place and finally made the time to sit and enjoy a latte and cake…read more The space is super clean and cozy, although, the more comfy seating has low tables so you can't really ear your cake from those seats but there are higher tables and chairs available as well. The team working today were very welcoming and friendly. I chose a Pistachio Vanilla Latte and a Pistachio Cotton Cake. There were a couple other choices of toppings for the cake but as you can see, I was in a pistachio mood. The price is pretty high for these items but I wanted to treat myself. The cake is incredibly soft and pillowy but dense at the same time and the pistachio topping added to the overall flavor. The latte was excellent - you can really taste the pistachio flavor over the coffee - I just didn't prefer the bits of nuts that sank to the bottom. I highly recommend to try this out - something new and delicious that I'll need to revisit soon!

They did not have creamer in the condiment station (red flag for me; I don't do mini moos). However, they offered to pour in real half and half for me, that they store behind the counter. The coffee was delicious, strong, and fresh. We had sugar cookies and baklava. Wonderful. The bakery cases were massive and large selection. The staff greeted us from the kitchen and walked towards the counter to help us. The seating is limited, but we were able to relax in the cozy sitting area with fireplace. Lots of light; bright, and vibrant colors. They offer ice cream too. Overall, excellent.

While the design was exactly what I asked for and they were easy to work with and so responsive, unfortunately the cake was so dry none of us could eat it. I don't know if something changed or if their chocolate cake is just super dry, but would recommend sampling first if you decide to go with them.

Simply put, Cookieee Boys is a great place to get dessert. It's known for its cookies, but it's an…read moreice cream shop, as well. The most popular menu item is the CB; a warm cookie skillet loaded with ice cream and toppings. I've tried several cookies, the Reese's milkshake, and the C-T-C CB. All of the cookies are made in-house. I've had red velvet, chocolate chip, cookie monster (M&M), and s'mores. Of those, I preferred the red velvet. The Reese's milkshake was incredibly rich, but delicious. The C-T-C CB was my favorite dessert overall. This features a sugar cookie, cinnamon ice cream, and cinnamon toast crunch cereal. I highly recommend the C-T-C, or a CB in general. Cookieee Boys may be trendy, but the quality of its desserts does not take a backseat. It is on the pricier side, but I'd much rather support a family-owned establishment over a rival chain.

Their matcha here isn't even comparable to any of the spots in California. You are being scammed. Too much milk. Not enough matcha. No earthiness to their matcha. Just tastes like sweetened milk with bits of grassiness if I am being completely honest. To top it off, the customer service is terrible here. The barista couldn't even be bothered to smile or ask how you are doing. Almost felt like an inconvenience ordering from her. Ordered my drink for dine-in and I would rather just grab my drink myself than watch them set it down haphazardly on the tables. The ambiance is great and I see why it can be a great study spot, however, I can't justify the poor customer service and subpar drinks to come back here.
