Finally tried this place and I was happy with our experience…read more - Good draft beer - great patio / summer seating set up - chill atmosphere, TVs in the bar area - no food served but I heard you can bring your own & witnessed people brining in a pizza - great for groups

Paid for a lifetime membership because we were excited about the new brewery. Unfortunately, the service is very consistently pretty bad. The beertenders almost never come over by even when it's slow, if they say they will be back in a minute - they probably wont be back, and the beers are often half full in the mugs when you have specific beertenders. There is one AMAZING worker, Jason. He is attentive, always helpful, quick and manages the bar fantastically. I do regularly have issues with another specific employee/manager, a woman who's name begins with a T. She has been there since day 1 and service remains poor, always with a little bit of attitude. Clarice is good at blend ideas, sometimes blending a beer just makes it that much better. I wish so bad that they would bring back the dart/ring toss spot in the back to play games. Very wasted space back there now and it was always fun to play back there. Love the patio space with shade. Love the event space and events. Tad loud on live music nights, but thats to be expected. I wiah you guys hosted art fairs like Baffin and Urbanrest! They have non alcoholic options in the cooler and liquor for cocktails now, which is a perk! Naturally, we will remain regulars. :)

The building has been there a long time, and you enter a different world when you walk in the front door. First off, you need a reservation. No big deal. We scheduled around the time of the piano player, that added to the atmosphere. There is something cool to look at everywhere. They were a bit short-staffed this night, according to our waitress, who mentioned it a few times. You could tell, things were moving really slowly. We got a few drinks and some St Clair punch (water), and waited to put in our order. We split some entrees, and while the sides are of decent size, the entrees themselves were on the small size. I've been to some other German restaurants, their entree sizes are significantly larger in the same price range. The separate sides of spaetzel were decent size, but kind of dry. We should have tried the cheese version. Things were decent tasting, but not amazing. The carrot apple slaw was a lot better than we expected. I'm glad we finally came and had the experience, it's really a historical gem.

They barely had anything at all, but that could be due to the mall being so empty. We both got the cheese with the pretzels. The pretzels were good, but did not taste that fresh. They were a bit cold, and two on the bottom were slightly soggy. It tasted as if they had the pretzels there for a few hours. Even though they were not that fresh, the service was great. The lady at the counter was super sweet. My sister thought there was too much salt in the cheese and pretzels, so she asked for a cup for water. The lady was nice enough to provide one. She made small talk with us as we enjoyed our pretzels in the warm instead of the brisk cold outdoors.

The offerings in the case didn't look appealing but I saw the pepperoni bites on the menu and thought they sounded delicious. They had just sold the only one they had made so it would be 12 minutes before the next ones were ready, so I went with plain. I paid and went on my way. I bought the large to share, boy were we disappointed! $9 for barely warm, overcooked pretzel bites. In the past, they were always warm and soft. Not so this time. A few were passable, but most were barely edible. Do better please! If they overcooked and or old; don't serve them!
